A ballet performance held to the music of Korea was performed at the National Theater of Korea’s Haeoreum Grand Theater. The Universal Ballet’s new repertoire expresses Korea’s “jeong,” in beautiful and dynamic dance. Based on traditional crossover music, Korea’s traditional color is infused in the five works. The themes are about married couples, mother and daughter, brothers and Korea’s joy. From duets to group dances that fill the stage, discover Korea’s various feelings about “jeong,” in different colors.

한국적인 선율 위에 그려지는 발레 무대가 국립극장 해오름극장 무대 위에 올랐다. 유니버설발레단의 신작으로, 한국인의 대표적인 정서인 ‘정’을 아름다운 몸의 언어로 드라마틱하게 표현한 작품. 한국의 전통 음악을 기반으로 한 국악 크로스오버 음악에 한국 무용의 색채를 아름답게 녹여낸 다섯 작품을 선보인다. 부부부터 모녀, 자매, 형제, 한국인의 흥까지, 조화롭게 표현해낸 안무들이 펼쳐질 예정. 2인무부터 무대를 꽉 채우는 군무까지, 한국인의 ‘정’에 대한 다양한 감정과 다채로운 빛깔을 만나 보자.
