October 2019, my mom went from normal to not normal diagnosed with glioblastoma. My mother and father adopted me and were all that I knew as my parents and with her passing I lost my best friend, the one that believed in me. I heard a snippet of this song on tik tok and I listened to it while helping her receive treatments, slowly disintegrating in front of me and going from being the strongest person I knew to someone I didn’t even recognize. As a mental health therapist, I share that you can get through life and during that i didn’t believe that myself. Then I really listened to these words and with that freedom, I knew that I could overcome her death, her strength passed into me to go on and do many great things and I am forever grateful for Kayne bearing his soul in his music not just for himself but for the world
Father God please protect this man, protect his soul through it all. He means well! He is destined ❤ He speaks for a lot of us. What’s done in the dark comes to light . The man speaks and bring of light 💡! They trying to tear him down through hidden truths.
"i keep my hand on the stove let me bleed, lets me bleed, that's when I'm free when were the kids we used to be" part in the monologue at the end hit me where it hurts 8:26
I was sexually assaulted this past weekend.. nothing makes sense to me anymore. Life seems unobtainable while simultaneously passing through me. I felt the same way in 2018, my first year out of high school, alone in college. I was depressed, suicidal; I was crying for help and hiding away. This song would be on repeat to comfort me in my loneliness. Halfway through 2021, I breakup with my first real boyfriend in my new city (Chicago funny enough) and I am by myself completely. First solo apartment, first city on my own. This song got tatted on my body to remind me of my fight, to help me keep fighting. Today, I listen to this with my knees on the ground, hands in prayer. I’m begging for a release: from life, misfortune, this pain I feel. For five minutes, this video quiets my cries. I’m somehow taken to another world while being grounded into my present. Kanye is my favorite artist, will be. Music heals, and this video proves that to me.
This changed my life..really. i grew up in a strict forced religious household and that drove me away from God for so long. made me resent christianity in general. now that i’m an adult and have had time to form my own person my own self without the highest expectations constantly set on me. Listening to Donda and now this. My struggle inside myself and my fight against God has been wiped away. This made me breakdown. i’m so thankful for Kanye. even as a child listening to his music made me happy in general. i’m not idolizing just being thankful this man has made it easier for me to grow my relationship with God.
2:59 you see Kanye tell the musicians to stop playing. Making something that sounds great even greater. Most people wouldn't have the vision to think of that on the fly. Masterpiece from a mastermind.
@@groovygambino4908 acepella may not be a new concept, but this song is another masterpiece from kanye and the correctly placed acepella to complement the song makes it even better

8:20 is the best part of this piece Love Kanye forever. His music is unmatched. It’s his belief in himself that allowed him to push past all obstacles. Here’s to a beautiful journey man
Ive been a kanye West fan since my senior year in highschool. Since 2005 everyone of his albums came out around important events in my life. This album was and particularly this song was not an exception. Idaf what they say about him, he makes wonderful art.
Kanye really touched a deep topic. Something that a lot of us battle. We live in a society of actors, facades, Robbed Choices. Our freedom get's stolen, get's controlled by parents, Teachers, Older Siblings, Society in general. One that makes his own decisions, his own choices, his own opinions, get's looked as Crazy, The black sheep of the family. Being true to your own self, is one of the best ways to experience life. free from everyone's opinions, free from everyone and even you holding yourself back. Let go, and be free no matter the challenge. Take control of your own life, your own choices. At the end of the day whose life it is? mine? No, it's yours. You decide my fellow brother and sister.
I can't stop watching this. It gives me chills every time. A year or so later, I stilllll love this song and I also love 070 Shake so I love it even more.
You could say that Kanye west is the Beatles of my generation, but that would be an understatement. Kanye West is beyond anything music as ever seen. He’s the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, and everything in between. I know that’s crazy to say but it is fucking true.
I think his music will still be played hundreds of years from now. Like we still play Mozart, Chopin and Beethoven. I reckon Kanye will be added to the list. Just because it's contemporary doesn't diminish its value as art. He spills his soul in such a beautiful way it would be a loss for humanity if we forgot about him, I just can't see it happening so... I don't think you're crazy 😄

plz don't delete this, this is my greatest therapy ever
This is what music is supposed to do. Music that you can FEEL this performance gets me through every dark day.. it's OK to FEEL you can't run or get high and not mentally deal with life the good and the bad
shit makes me cry everytime don’t know why
Runaway, Violent Crimes, Ghost Town and Jesus Lord, everytime i hear one of that songs, i cry
That woman at 4:00 made me stop and close my eyes the whole part just to feel if I still bleed. And nothing hurts anymore. Finally.
That woman is 070 Shake
070 shake will touch your soul
her album modus vivendi is sublime
070 Got me through shit
Holy Fuck.
“I represent that, overcoming fear, and still being here!”
This is the most powerful speech, I came back to this performance so many times no matter I’m on my up or down, Ye is very inspiring, I hope all the world knows he’s really a people person, his art gather us all together, how can you hate him? We need this humanity we just can’t afford to lose him that’s FACT!
This gives me goosebumps. Kanye is a genius
Then I really listened to these words and with that freedom, I knew that I could overcome her death, her strength passed into me to go on and do many great things and I am forever grateful for Kayne bearing his soul in his music not just for himself but for the world
Ok well thanks for making me cry
god bless you
Father God please protect this man, protect his soul through it all. He means well! He is destined ❤ He speaks for a lot of us. What’s done in the dark comes to light . The man speaks and bring of light 💡! They trying to tear him down through hidden truths.
this is so beautiful. everything this man does is beautiful.

“Don’t it feel good when you know you can never be cancelled?” LMFAOOO live laugh love Kanye West
I’m so sorry to hear that you are incredibly strong I hope you get through it 🥺
Hope you're doing alright
Stay strong
We love you , we dont know you ,but we still love you :)
You're an inspiration. Stand strong, and all of us will stand with you. ❤
6:00 my guy on the left really hitting the Dougie to the Sunday Service Choir 😂 tbh I’m feeling him
im pretty sure thats Ant Clemons lmaooooo
lolll thats a harlem shake tho
Ant Clemons the bro
@@kairiv I was thinkin the same thing. The real OG harlem shake
"I keep my hand on the stove, let me bleed, cause that's when I feel free." Serious!
Love the random baby crying in the background. Feels like church
First time I ever really listened to Kanye. I cried through the whole song -- beautiful and spiritual!
I know
the way 070 shake voice cuts through, voice is so amazing😭3:38
"let me bleed.. let me bleed.. that's when i'm free"
2:59 you see Kanye tell the musicians to stop playing. Making something that sounds great even greater. Most people wouldn't have the vision to think of that on the fly. Masterpiece from a mastermind.
its nice. but bro its not that crazy. its very very nice. but to go acapella on a verse is not something new in music. maybe in hip hop
@@groovygambino4908 acepella may not be a new concept, but this song is another masterpiece from kanye and the correctly placed acepella to complement the song makes it even better
It literally gave me chills. That was my favorite moment
@@groovygambino4908 that was dope....
Why take away from his genius
U could have saved that comment....
Cause I'm sure YOU COULDN'T DO IT
After listening to this i ascended to another plane of existence, i no longer am bound by the constraints of time, i feel no pain. I feel kind of free...
Im not religious at all but Kanye really makes me see the beauty in faith and believing. This shit really puts tears in my eyes. WOW
Kanye is therapeutic dawg
Was hurt the first time I watched this. Damn tears were just falling.
"You're acting crazy"
"Oh that's not crazy. I'm acting normal"
I don't mean that I support his hateful thoughts on certain people, but this really resonates with me. Sometimes it's so hard to be different that I end up doing nothing and being nothing.
he didn't have no hateful thoughts toward no one. he stated the truth, he never said anything about the Jewish faith he spoke about those Jewish Americans who basically own america
Chills, literal chills

It was 5
8:20 is the best part of this piece
Love Kanye forever.
Literal goosebumps. We are so blessed to have witnessed Kanye in our lifetime. What a great artist
Damn!
“i put my hand on a stove” gave me mad goosebumps
Shake got me sobbing my damn eyes out man. Maybe not all the way, but kinda free.
It's real goals to just be in a room like this feeding off of each other and expressing your souls without any inhibitions.
I'll never cry to a kanye song.
20 mins after hearing this curling up in a ball in a corner of my room
Be free in all you do, there are no obstacles with love in your heart.
You can see how happy Kanye is to see his music repurposed in this way and it’s so beautiful. Love you Ye hope you’re doing great 🙏 ❤️
Amen
:(
This is as close as any human being will be able to get to a musical orgasm! Enjoy it, digest it and embrace it. Truly amazing piece of art.
4:07 angelic
get off that nitrous ye, do it for kanye
I do crystal and we do it to save lives
This is the best video on the internet
I can't stop watching this. It gives me chills every time. A year or so later, I stilllll love this song and I also love 070 Shake so I love it even more.
3:21 I woulda started crying at this very moment
