You're off to a great start with watercolours, especially after only watching one tutorial! A tip with masking tape: I like to put it on my clothes (maybe a sleeve or my pants) to get rid of some of the stickiness so that way it's easier to peel off the paper :)
Wonderful video...I always fun to see someone trying out new media. Beautiful painting. Just a little helpful tip...the water color block is gummed on all 4 sides so it does not need to be taped down....just let the painting completely dry before removing it. Also if you want a white border you can still use tape, or just leave yourself an organic border by not painting right to the edge...again well done
girl the fact that your smile made me smile like literally in 2 seconds, very contagious, and i absolutely love the way you say ART like dbjhbdawydbawbu brightened my day fr ily you are hella underrated
I really like the end result - the colors work well together and it's definitely emotive! Watercolors (for me) are a lovely thing because I don't have complete control and I can allow nature and chance have a say in what happens next on an art piece. I'm still fairly new at it myself, but I've come to use it pretty often these days. As for finding a "personal style" - that seems elusive to me, even after all the years I've spent doing artwork. I'm just too interested in so many things - both subject matter and art media... I just love it all! Im jealous of artists that find their "niche"! New subscriber here! Looking forward to your next videos!
Thank you so much!✨ And I totally agree, even though a brush stroke may be intentional, water will always find it‘s way that you cannot control. I also find that to be the beauty in it. Thank your for your support! New videos will be coming🌸
As a lazy-ass, i have an empty serum bottle with a dropper that I keep on my art-cart so that I can refill the waterbrush/activate the paints whenever I want :) I also keep it on me whenever I wanna paint outside! Highly recommend! Loved the video, it's so chill and nice it immediately made me wanna clean up and draw too lol
I love that haha🫶🏻😂 I do that too now, and yes taking it on vacay is a really good idea bc it‘s so easy to use wherever you are!!✨ I am glad you like it🎀

What tool did you use for this video? Love the control of the pen looking thingy!
This is a water container brush, highly recommend!!
Girl had 1 day of looking at watercolour tutorials, played music and boom came up with a masterpiece. Life’s not fair sometimes, but oh well
🥹🫶🏻 that‘s so sweet, but I just wanna mention that this whole process took place over a span of a week so maybe I should have stressed that more👀😂🎀
@@softbaked.studio I’m sorry if I sounded negative! Not intended. Apologies!
