This is an era of politics where the other guy can try to overthrow democracy, have 34 criminal convictions and a civil rape conviction and still be leading so freaking out over one bad debate (when he gave a good speech the next day) might be unnecessary
And there is not even a consensus on a replacement and polls show the only doing better in a hypothetical matchup is Harris. And that won't be the case after 6 months of Fox propaganda
So yeah maybe before pulling an incumbent and hoping a replacement wins, something that has never happened, it's going to take more than a week and a bad debate to decide?
If a 6-3 SCOTUS gets worse or we get 200 more Aileen Cannons you might as well shut down the progressive party. Even if legislation gets the votes the courts will strike it down for the next 40 years. So yeah there's a lot to consider
It's too late already sparky. If democrats rally behind Biden, he has a 10% to 20% chance of winning. If they descend further into disarray and it becomes a sheet show and a last minute hail mary candidate with bitter infighting, the democratic candidate will have EXACTLY 0% chance of winning. Powers in the party should have decided on another candidate 2 years ago, but they sadly just as bright as most of their constituents, including yourself. Republicans can, with a straight face, listen to 100 lies by Trump in 10 minutes and proclaim that he is the second coming of Christ. That's why he will win, because republicans have real goals and real plans towards those goals, whatever it takes, however long it takes. That's why they stuffed the SC, overturned Roe... etc. while likes of RBG and HRC were living in dreamland, and don't get me started on Sanders. Democrats are dwmb, and progressives are even dwmberer.

My moms 82 and I don’t see a mental decline, unless you count the inability to understand that when buying a computer you do not need to ask the salesperson if it “has Facebook” 😂 (grasp on tech just doesn’t break through). Biden has something else going on. My grandma lived to 94 and I did not see anything like what Biden is showing until 2 days before she died. That is NOT just old age.

Didn't watch the debate. One of my children viewed the debate and said it seemed like elder abuse, that Bidens' performance was very sad.

If you're old enough to get a social security check, you should retire. This keeps the younger generations from being able to step up.
I agree; give the younger canditates a chance to speak, walk in his shoes so to speak. A time will come when we will see new, fresh faces as candidates for the US Presidency and if the Democrats or Republicans don't choose a younger, more capable nominee they will lose votes to the Socialist, Libertarian, Independents, Moderate parties of USA.
