I’m surprised there’s only 13 views on this clip, with all this amazingly good vibes and a blast from the past. had it been about peoples business or some bacchanal foolishness, or gun play, then it probably woulda went viral.
@@1492pinta Thanks. Odel and I attended Rosary Boys' back in the 80s. He's 3yrs older than me. His last junior portrayal was in 1986, he won CDC king that year. His best portrayal (for me), was "Beauty In Perpetuity" in 1984. I can't remember what he placed in Red Cross and CDC kings. His last portrayal was "Bush Fire" in 1989, senior kings. He made to the semis. Where is he now?
@karelphillips3483 I know him when I played Kiddies Carnival and I also wonder where he is now. What a true masquerader he was. I thought that eventually he would have gone on to playing adult mas.
@@1492pinta Good morning, I even asked Stephen Derek about his whereabouts. I remembered him winning many junior titles. He only entered in adult mas one year (1989). Probably because of the wheels on the costumes. He could really dance his costumes. I thought he would have have played king for D'Midas, since Stephen was his designer and also designed most of his senior king costumes without wheels. Wheels were added on only when the costumes were on the road Monday and Tuesday.

22:16-22:30, is that Odelle Arthur, a junior carnival king back in 70s? I think that portrayal was "King Shaka" designed by Stephen Derek.
@karelphillips3483 Yes that is Odel Arthur.
