a few things about lazer 1) it has poor optimization 2) the score should be capped at 1 million 3) "render at native resolution" should also come back, the new system to adjust it is bad.
Is it badly optimized on your end? I use a lower end pc and its smooth sailing so far (1000fps) with dips far and few in between (better than stable imo), i used an i7 3770 btw, and i havent test the new update yet but last time i played like a week ago the score is cap at 1 mil even with dt so idk, and for the 3rd problem i dont really know whats that supposed to do honestly.
@@arcueid3352i haven't really played lazer all that much, i should try it. I play at 1280x720 res, "render at native resolution" basically makes it so that the resolution doesn't stretches to fit the whole screen, but rather it stays as how the resolution looks like. On lazer, you don't have that.
@@AxelMuga Yes, you can on lazer, it just isn't called "render at native resolution", you can't put the exact resolution, to change the resolution without stretching the image to fit the monitor go to Settings, then Graphics, then go to Screen Scaling, set it to Everything and change the vertical and horizontal scale, then you can change the vertical and horizontal position as in osu
i have a 2560x1440 and use 1760x990 as the resolution in osu, and on lazer i have a 69% vertical scaling and 100% horizontal scaling (horizontal space doesn't change anything on mania and it's a bit nicer to have a wider resolution almost like 21:9 (at least for me)) so it's a bit more customizable on lazer actually I like the fact you can change the rate on a song like etterna, but the skinning and feel of the game is still very far away from stable, i hope they will make it more like stable in the future (especially the mania scoring, it sucks in lazer)
What i thought about lazer on first day: 1. Customizing is good stuff, can move things easily and have in-game error bar 2. Acc change (score v2) is more confusing than i thought 3. LN skin works weird, it feels shorter than stable, so it makes many early 200s 4. In-game browser is weird, some maps cannot be found with in-game browser. 5. Honestly i wanted lazer pp update because of "adjustable dt speed", but it didn't come out, so playing in lazer don't have much benefits i think 6. WHY HITTING NOTES FEELS NOT STABLE LOL (compared to stable client)
4:48 5:04 ingame pp counter is useless
i believe lazer is more optimized for standard as i believe the mania side looks alot to be rushed

@@michxxxI tried it before, everything just loses its quality and it looks really scuffed.
I had 3.4k, now 3.8k :/
tfk with this pp system
lazer is trash lol

the third is because the osu lazer browser has the "featured artist" option enabled by default, disabling it appears more maps
wait so it wasn't my skin that had a short Ln end but the game?
