@@chrishenderson420 It's pretty common, unfortunately. There have been cases where there was a number of officers involved who shared their CIs around.

The death of a police officer charged with sexual assault is a tragic and complex situation. Possible causes could include suicide, often linked to intense emotional stress, public scrutiny, or the shame associated with such serious accusations. Alternatively, it could be an accidental death or natural causes, though the timing raises questions. In any case, authorities must investigate thoroughly to determine the exact cause. This incident highlights the broader issue of mental health support and the consequences of serious criminal allegations on individuals' well-being...
No sympathy for criminals. The badge just makes him more despicable. You can’t pretend that he didn’t know what he was doing. He didn’t feel bad until he got caught. In his mind, the crime was fine as long as no one knew.
So, she willingly had sexual relationships with both officers at different times? How is that sexual assault? I can see them getting fired if they were engaging in sexual acts while working, but if she was a consenting adult, I don't think it should be a legal issue. I guess because they're in a position of power, but I don't agree with it.
You don't know how willing it was or anything about her except she was in her twenties coercion maybe and she still will endure the trial for the other cop too. Maybe be gang stalked by them to intimidate her prior to testifying also.
Worked in psychiatric / behavioural programming for 25 years. Do not give anyone the benefit of the doubt to reduce the chance of becoming a victim. Just because someone wears a costume is not a reason to trust them. Behaviour is a language so follow your intuition and don't assume that everyone is a good person. Learn to see people for who they are and not who you want them to be.
This is open and shut: They're cops, and she was a civilian. She also participated in having sex with each cop separately (assumed) and knew exactly what she was getting into. They on the other hand knew what they were also getting into, and any reasonable person would have known that it wasn't appropriate. If, like all inappropriate relationships, she then demanded more and they dismissed her, it would not be unusual or outlandish for her to claim sexual assault afterwards. The charges by Crown are often immediate when it involves cops, why? Because they are in a position of authority, and they have a moral duty to be better than the rest of us when it comes to decisions and consequences. The moral of the story, and a tried and true piece of antiquated advice: Don't shit where you live or work.

How much suffering do folks expect the families to endure because of the actions of these two charged in this case who obviously where unaware of this event ??
Cool story bro. That's not how the law and publications work when it's public servants being charged. This is super basic knowledge about rights of public servants.
Cops are public servants. If his hands were clean he wouldn't be under investigation in the first place. Lack of exposure is the sole reason there are people who abuse the badge.
If 1 cop is getting favours in exchange for trumped up charges being overlooked & he tells his comrades about it or even worse, demonstrates it, it was likely happening in other jurisdictions.

He made a choice to off himself instead of standing up and saying he wasn't guilty, that should tell you everything. Also if the judge didn't have enough evidence to lay charges then nothing would be public, funny how that works.

Not mention inappropriate behavior.

Police always mis use thier power but they don't get charged 😒
