The thing about this story is they say "sexual assault" and they say formed

Those two are a bit different. Lets hear what really happened.

@AvaLiveLife and how exactly do you know this? Are you aware of all the details of this case? There are many different ways this could’ve played out. Either way, a man is now dead, so it’s up to the other officer to tell the whole story. You really think this girl just happened to be in contact with two predatory officers on separate incidents? There’s something fishy about the whole situation and i highly doubt it’s what you think happened. Listen closely to the wording of the news coverage.

@@JasonPutschker-xw9uf that may be because he’s now dead. Two officers, the same girl but separate encounters? You don’t think that sounds suspicious? Like a potential pattern? The victim still has her life, and the man accused but not found guilty… is dead. Hence why people with critical minds are asking questions. The victim clearly has people advocating for her, otherwise this wouldn’t be a news story at all.
Either way, this particular story isn’t about the victim, it’s about the young police officer she accused who took his life out of guilt? Shame? Fear? Hopeless? Who knows. But he punished himself with the death penalty without even trying to defend himself in court. I doubt people need to add more cruelty to this situation. He has family and friends who loved him.

@DreuDee play either way the officer did us justice instead of actually admitting to his guilt his consciousness was like i got this bud 🤯 pretty clear sign of his guilt. Innocent people fight for their rights, seen all over. He knew what he was part of and it was easier than tarnishing is career cause remember an officer is a career it's not a duty. You pay for that career. College and secondary classes, than cadets and so forth. Its a job. No matter how you glamourize it, he was clearly guilty or would have fought for his innocence. Two officers going to the same girl for the same pussy oh no.
I can name dozens of detectives who cheat on their wives with younger girls while on duty lmao hell i dated one of the inspectors wives over here cause he pulled the same shit on her.

While we don't have a ton of specifics on a matter currently before criminal court (which is standard in criminal proceedings) to satisfy random people on the internet like you, I think it's pretty compelling that: 1. It was a third-party who reported what happened to this woman to the police not the victim herself; 2. It was referred to a different police team who did a full investigation over a period of multiple months gathering evidence; and 3. The BC prosecution service had enough evidence based on that investigation and likely further to not only pursue charges but seemingly to get a conviction in each matter. BC prosecution doesn't pursue all claims of sexual assault often due to "lack of evidence" so I think that's pretty telling.

Exactly what I was wondering about. This sounds like the girl was a potential sex worker or addict. Why else would two officers have separate incidents of dealing with her. Then both men end up involved with her sexually and are now being charged?
Which makes me wonder, Was this actual sexual assault or was it consensual but deemed an assault because she was vulnerable and both men were in positions of power?
My mom was a drug addicted sex worker, so I can tell you from what she told me.. she would Rob anyone she could, destroy their lives, and be happy about it all. She said she would’ve seduced the cops, then accuse them of assault just to get a pay day from the government.
I really hope that’s not what happened, because a man is now dead and there are a lot of questions left to be answered.
I hope the woman is receiving assistance for all her trauma that put her in a vulnerable position.
I also hope that if she did pull a con… that the truth comes out for all to see.
The police officers should’ve been stronger and refused their carnal urges no matter what the situation.
This will be a reminder to any others that feel weak around a pretty young girl.
      It’s tragic for everyone involved.

My mom was a drug addicted sex worker, and she would’ve easily pulled something like this for money and attention.
There are many possibilities, and the suicide speaks to how horrible the police officer felt about it…. And he felt taking his life was the only way. It’s very sad for everyone.

The caveat is that she was considered "vulnerable" in some way. That could include mental illness or self harm etc.and it's expected that police officers should know that such people can't consent. However men would term those type of women easy. It's hard to say how or why police officers are expected to know and refrain from taking advantage but these are the rules that govern these things I suppose.

The death of a police officer charged with sexual assault is a tragic and complex situation.
Possible causes could include suicide, often linked to intense emotional stress, public scrutiny, or the shame associated with such serious accusations.
Alternatively, it could be an accidental death or natural causes, though the timing raises questions.

This is open and shut: They're cops, and she was a civilian. She also participated in having sex with each cop separately (assumed) and knew exactly what she was getting into. They on the other hand knew what they were also getting into, and any reasonable person would have known that it wasn't appropriate. If, like all inappropriate relationships, she then demanded more and they dismissed her, it would not be unusual or outlandish for her to claim sexual assault afterwards. The charges by Crown are often immediate when it involves cops, why? Because they are in a position of authority, and they have a moral duty to be better than the rest of us when it comes to decisions and consequences. The moral of the story, and a tried and true piece of antiquated advice: Don't shit where you live or work.

I find this rather disturbing the way this incident was trotted out to the public. This truly was a case that should have had a ban on the publication of the names of those charged as was extended to the alleged victim. Those charged until proven guilty would obviously have had to run the gauntlet of armchair lawyers as well as the self appointed vigilantes. How much suffering do folks expect the families to endure because of the actions of these two charged in this case who obviously where unaware of this event ??

Cool story bro. That's not how the law and publications work when it's public servants being charged. This is super basic knowledge about rights of public servants.

Cops are public servants. If his hands were clean he wouldn't be under investigation in the first place. Lack of exposure is the sole reason there are people who abuse the badge.

If 1 cop is getting favours in exchange for trumped up charges being overlooked & he tells his comrades about it or even worse, demonstrates it, it was likely happening in other jurisdictions.
