Enter k is definitely my favorite 80s album the unconscious life and happy hour are some of his best songs of the era and sitting targets is my second favorite loved his work with the k group at this time

my ranking from BEST to Worst
A Black Box (1980) (All Killer, No Filler, even those weird songs!!!)
Enter K (October 1982) (Slightly commercial to be Hammill, but so good)
Patience (August 1983) (Similar to Enter K, due to same bandmembers)
Sitting Targets (1981) (The start of his more commercial period, solid !!)
Loops and Reels (June 1983) (Pure Experiments, raw, uncut and direct)
Skin (March 1986) (Very 80s and commercial sounding, but still solid)
And Close As This (November 1986) (Some exceptional stuff here !)
In a Foreign Town (1988) (The only one i suffer with ,probably the production brings it down, the songs are listenable, but the horrid dated sound...aaaaargh)
    Thanks Iain !!

I found quite a bit more to like in "Loops and Reels" than you did. (Did you notice that "My Pulse" is basically a re-working of "The Comet, The Course & The Tail?" Here's my list from most to least favorite:
    Patience
    A Black Box
    Sitting Targets
    Enter K
    And Close As This
    Loops and Reels
    Skin
    In A Foreign Town

@@Iainrankingtheobscure I know, you said. It is very experimental. Fun watch though. Not too many people talking about Hammill.
