    Good video footage, this interesting I like how on other videos, you guys explain what’s going on and I think that’s awesome. Many times crossing the railroad I didn’t know that’s what the rocks are called ballast. I like it when you show the output of the material. I like seeing stacks of gravel, rock or stone and limestone also road base material!! Keep up the good work

    One these days we will watching a video of the first crusher and all of a sudden we will get a nice close up and then nothing lol.
    Thank you for all you do to bring us these video's.

      Had a few close calls, lost 2 drones over the years, both to malfunctions, not into the crusher though lol. Maybe I'll sacrifice a drone one of these days

    Love working with the power screen machines, very smooth when moving since they are on tracks. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to make these videos

    wow, the maintenance and electricity to run that monster, let alone paying you guys in the yellow hats must be outrageous, great video, like to see big rocks removed, i'm a farmer & have picked rock forever!

      I haven't worked out the math but I think with loaders, crushers, screens, belts, manpower, etc. we are probably in the $1500.00 per hour range.

    It's neat how everything works together. I run older equipment. I have to manually adjust the crusher and screening plant when I use them together. I'm constantly adjusting my crusher for max flow with clean product. I love it. Days fly by! I wonder if my Boss would let me film with my little drone.... I should learn to fly it first maybe Hahaha! Thanks for the video :)

    Really enjoyed rock crushing. There was always an adjustment you could make to bring the material into specs....usually..lol.

    Incredible how those machines crush and sort and sift that hard rock...How long do those machines go before they need an overhaul?...I can’t imagine the wear and tear from all that smashing and sliding of those heavy abrasive rocks....Awesome video!

    Really cool. I wish we had affordable cameras back when I worked in factories a few decades ago.
    Could you maybe add some on-screen notes to show which parts are doing what? I've tried to explain to others whatever I could identify but I'm not familiar with it all. Big thumbs up.

    Get yourself a DJI mavic 2! They are amazing and do not drift like the Phantom does. I have owned both.

      I'm thinking about it, I have the original Mavic and prefer the P4 V2 over it. I'm sure the Mavic 2 is much improved over the original Mavic.

    I assume the ballast is sized on two screen decks, one being 2.5". What is the lower size of the size range?

      Hard rock granite, we mine it about 200 yards from the crushing plant. It can be seen in other videos.

    Is the project for UP or BNSF? Do you have a spur nearby?

    • @JoeRockYT
      @JoeRockYT  4 роки тому

      UP spec, although this is a private rail system. The spur comes from UP track.
