I’ve been in the collections tab thinking it just shows what you’ve collected. Little did I know a lot of those things can be reacquired. This blew my mind and now my vaults nice and neat.

Thank you for this! I stopped playing Destiny 2 on PC a long ways back. Now I'm back to the game but this time on PS5. Bought the Legendary Edition on sale this week. Moved my save over from PC to the PS5. All my stuff is there but I didn't know what to do. I also had been claiming the free monthly Twitch Prime gifts every month. I have so much new gear I didn't know what to do or how the Collection tab worked. Plus I also had over 50 shaders and emblems in my bank vault from the early Destiny 2 days and wanted to know how to free up that bank space and this answered all my questions. :)

So basically if I dismantle my weapons from the season pass there is no possible way to get them back? Because you can only get 1 per account and it’s randomized
if you do not own the season pass, yes i believe that is correct. However you can earn news ones through the umbreal engrams if you have purchased the season pass.
Disassembled No Time To Explain because I hate pulse rifles and had to deal with quest later that requires kills with that weapon. Thanks mate, you saved me!

Hey just a quick question. This may sound weird, but certain weapons display the materials as if I can acquire the gear.. but I can't. Is it like a bug or something? Because some weapons I really wanna take in Crucible, but its not allowing me to acquire the weapon. The other weapons I dont have a problem with acquire them or them saying I can't acquire them. Its just the ones that are in between like can I acquire it or not? Let me know if you have an answer🤝🏽

But what about the Mobility, Recovery and Heavy armour!? If you go to the Armour division of the Collections you'll see that most of the Armour is either "Titan Mobility Armour" like the Devastation Complex set, or "Heavy Titan Armour" like the Noble Constant for Titans or "Titan Restorative Armour". Those armour pieces can be Masterworked for 5 Enhancement Cores but I can't put any mods on them in the mod slot. I can't put Enhanced Scatter Projectile Targeting on the helmets, I can't put Hands On on the Marks and any of the rest of the mods. I can't find a site that explains why I can't do those things. Can someone please explain where I can get the mods to put on those armour pieces?
you cannot get those weapons from collections. Modern legendary weapons ( purples ) have randomized perks, so they cannot be pulled out. you have to obtain them as drops and rewards and save them in your vault in the tower for later
have to wait for the halloween event in october sadly. legendary weapons cannot be pulled from collections because they have random rolls... and they have been too lazy to develop a system to work around that.... because they release every gun 5 or 6 times instead lol

I seem to be unable to reacquire shaders in my collection, i only have the option to preview. Am i doing something wrong? I also see i have the option to "unlock" shaders if i go to the vault, but they just disappear when i do that and i still can't get them back from collections.
@@Okraz53 yup! It turns out there was an update that changed the system where you don't need to reacquire them anymore, they are all stored in the customization screen permanently now. The one that lets you choose the shader for all your parts at once
weapons? there are only a select few that dont have random rolls on perks. this is because they are older weapons unlocked before changes were made in forsaken and shadow keep DLC's. so sadly you cannot pick which weapons drop without random rolls.
Please respond as soon as you can so i bought this warlock outfit and it wont let me equip it and went in inventory to open the box i pressed unlock on it and in modification i tried going back and forth in character’s and inventory but it wouldn’t show up

sorry for the late reply! Sadly 99.9% of weapons cannot be pulled from collections. This is because weapons drop with random stats, attachments, and perks.... but Bungie has not invested into a system that would allow us to "save" weapons to be pulled out at a later time. The exceptions are, ritual weapons which you can get 1 each season from playlist activities and exotics. These weapons have 'Static Rolls', no they do not need to allow for 50 versions, just the exact same one for all players. :(

@@LiikePipes so how it works... the guns are not "gone". You can still use any weapon that you have that is "sunset". It just means that certain weapons will have power caps. So if a weapon has a power cap you can use it still in activities without power requirements... but if you want to do activities with power requirements... like a nightfall ordeal... only certain weapons will be usable
It amazes me why i started playing again despite this game being a total time waste. Many months ago I had started playing d2 and that lasted for like 2 months, getting to lvl 1350 and only using legendary and exotics. Now that i’m back after like 2 seasons, half of all my legendary and some exotics are in collections and I can’t get most of them back because I got them from the open world. I’m almost completely sure that i didnt dismantle them but for some reason I can’t get them back and they dissappeared, having to now get them again from the open world. This is so dumb
You cannot get the legs themselves back anymore. But you can use them as an ornament. Since you have acquired them before it should be as simple as going to the customize section. Go to your character screen, then tab down a page you should see the customization option on the right hand side. In there you can select the legs as an ornament. Hope this helps!
bought a weapon? i am unsure what you mean. you can buy ornaments (skins/Camos) but you cannot buy weapons in destiny 2. if you got an actual weapon in-game and dismantled it.. unfornately you cannot get those again from collections... they have randomized perk rolls so you will have to obtain another one in game. in the future you can store weapons in your vault so you dont lose them and can use them later
