I have since raised my family here & now raising my grandchildren in this wonderful community! The people, the lakes, the downtown area are the best by far! Please HGTV come help us make LaPorte the Beautiful town I remember from my childhood 🥰

This is the hometown of many members of the 542nd Transportation Co. who went over for Operation Desert Shield/Storm. We use the local VFW post for our reunions.
