An example of what I love in this movie was the scene where Ken or whatever his name was said, "So I just gotta lie. That's easy enough." And Jim Carrey screams "Is it?" in his face, because you could see Jennifer Tilly's shoulder just in the shot and she flinched, even though that was undoubtedly a rehearsed line. During this isolating time, he became a close confidante, and the two grew close. The letters were humorous and intended to offer the rapper a slice of light relief while he was locked up. I wish you both reacted to the outtakes/bloopers. They are just as funny. I don't know if you know, but the guy who played Jerry was Cary Elwes. He was in The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and Twister. Those are great movies to react to if you haven't seen them already.
Yeah, we did see the outtakes and they were hilarious. Don't remember why I left them out. I also wasn't too familiar with Cary Elwes, but he was great. Thanks for watching and thanks for your suggestions. (:
38:45 - The "firefighter" in the background wearing a red helmet and speaking on a walkie-talkie is Jim Carrey. Its his character "Fire Marshall Bill" from the comedy TV show, In Living Colour.
Love yalls stuff, also threw in a suggestion, There Will Be Blood, which is a great character study and interesting story as well. But another really good underrated comedy is called The Nice Guys. Either way, keep on keeping on! 👍
Thanks for watching, Cinemeleon. And yes, my wife wanted a "Movie Recliner Chair with massage feature", but it would never fit into the small office space. So she decided to get one of those "Blow-up Yoga Ball" chairs. She loves it for work, you know, sitting on her desk, but she's thinking about getting something else for the movie reactions, and I'd buy it. Thanks for looking out for her, I'll let her know! LOL
Thank you Mike. Appreciate your honest eyes. You’re a good man. Jessica is a superstar, beautiful to the eyes but way more beautiful to the heart and spirit. Stay real and never change. Really appreciate you 2
I love your wife’s laugh! I laugh like that too! 😂 I also love me some Jim Carrey ever since he was on In Living Color! This movie was good! The most disappointing part for me was when he missed his son’s birthday party because of some woman and his job.
Yeah, I'm privileged to hear my wife's laughter every day!! 🤣 And yes, missing his son’s birthday party WAS a disappointing part! And one moment that I'll never forget was when he said "I'm a bad father." Makes me tear up whenever I think about it. Anyway, thanks for watching! (:
have you seen "dumb and dumber"? another great jim carrey comedy. in the case of "dumb and dumber", his character is pursuing a woman who was his partner in real life at the time. these 2 films, (liar liar, and dumb and dumber) are his best in my opinion. whenever the title repeats itself in a jim carrey movie, you know its going to be gold.
Hey, ice, "Dumb and Dumber" is on our list, thanks for watching and thanks for your suggestion. Haha, interesting comment about the repeating title. (:
You guys are really good. I usually don’t watch movie reactions, but I love how you see the humor. You should react to Superbad if you guys haven’t seen it!
I know in the movie, he can't find a good cause for a continuance. Set up for the trial and that was part of the comedy. Had he thought about it...he did have a logical and good cause for one. He had only been assigned the case in the last 48 hours. Not enough time to fully prepare his case, and he could have asked for a week to get fully prepared. Aside from this it is a very funny movie and Jim Carrey is and always has been a walking cartoon character. I would love to suggest more of his films to check out as I am not sure what you have seen of his or have not seen. (First time coming to your channel). 1. Once Bitten (w/ Clevon Little and Lauren Hutton) 2. Earth Girls Are Easy (w/ Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayans and Geena Davis) 3. The Truman Show 4. The Majestic 5. Dumb & Dumber 6. Bruce Almighty 7. Yes Man 8. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 9. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective 10. Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls 11. Fun with Dick and Jane Yes, he has done many more. I just have personal reasons I won't put on here for not suggesting them. (I don't even watch reactions to some of them). But it does give a wide variety of his films and maybe, just maybe...you will find a few that you love. Especially if you haven't seen it.
Hi there, thanks for sharing your thoughts, very interesting. Also, thanks for all your suggestions, I wrote them down. I heard a lot of good things about "The Truman Show" and "Dumb & Dumber." Definitely coming in the future... Thanks for watching! (:
@@BossMovieReactions I hope you also do Once Bitten and Earth Girls Are Easy. They were his first 2 films. His role in Earth Girls got him hired for In Living Color (1990-1994) and that is how he really got huge, and surprised everyone with Ace Ventura, most critics at the time hated it and thought it would bomb. It was one of the biggest comedies of the decade and most critics changed their minds about the film.
You all wouldnt notice i bet but when he gets thrown off and lands in luggage when the show the crowd before they agow him on the stretcher. Jim is in the background dressed as one of his characters from the show in living color. Fire Marshall Bill. Lol. 38:45 mark..check background. You will see him
I had no idea, but someone else mentioned it a few days ago. Also, I wouldn't know the living color characters, but I appreciate "Easter Eggs" in movies... Thanks, Sean! (:

I just noticed that scene when he goes to the bathroom he was drinking a lot of water so that he can go to the bathroom so that he couldn’t lie about it
Good observation, that is something I hadn't noticed before. Something I did catch though, is that when he said to his secretary that he didn't understand the question, he was lying.
@@imnotabotrlyimnot good point, I think it’s because since he’s a lawyer by instinct he’s more focused on winning for his client and he’s always won, but genuinely maybe he didn’t understand the question because justice is a word he naturally has no concern for, winning is the focus for him
Yep, in Liar Liar, 1997, Jim Carrey makes a cameo in his own movie as fire marshal Bill, a character he invented when he was on the show “In Living Color”. (:
Good question... Many reasons... First of all, we're filmmakers ourselves, so we like the subject. I also realized how many movies I missed in the 90s because I worked so damn hard when I came to this country. Didn't speak English, had three jobs, worked 6-7 days a week, no TV, no money, no streaming service etc. Then, a few months ago, I came across "Popcorn in Bed" which is probably the best reaction channel on UA-cam. Legal Eagle had a great analysis. You also can’t benefit from a contract you entered fraudulently. You can enter into a contract before 18 but once you reach 18 you can decide if you want to stay in the contract or not. The simple answer is: it’s not simple. The ending of the movie would be the start of long legal proceedings

Jim Carrey's signature cartoonish overacting works BEAUTIFULLY in this film... 😎
Yes, totally agree, and that's not easy to do! He = Comedic genius. Thanks for watching! (:
,jim careyyy more plzzz ace ventura❤
Putting it on the list. People seem to love Jim Carrey movies! And we were blown away by Liar Liar. Thanks for watching! (:
Oh, really? Nice inside info! Thx! (:
Jim Carrey is the todays Jerry Lewis... I did enjoy the movie, Thanks!!!
Happy to hear, Boss! (:
I’m so happy I found yall! I’m loving your reactions ❤
We're happy you found us! Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
Love yalls stuff, also threw in a suggestion, There Will Be Blood, which is a great character study and interesting story as well. But another really good underrated comedy is called The Nice Guys. Either way, keep on keeping on! 👍
Thanks, Lucas, I put both on the list! Thanks for watching! (:
Cary Elways is so good in this, every scene he makes uncomfortable. You have to see the blooper reel.
Yeah, I saw the blooper reel of Liar Liar, but I'm sure there's more to see... Funny stuff! (:
Great commentary, guys. Agree about Carrey. Mega talented.
Thanks for watching and laughing along with us! Cheers! (:
Great reaction guys! And man...get your baby a cozy chair too!
LOL
Your wife is a quit laughter I think she would love this movie call Meet the Parent it's hilarious lol!
Thanks, Tony! Yes, "Meet the Parents" is on our list. Thanks for watching! (:
This is the most wholesome and funny movie I have ever seen.
There will never be any movie like this from Hollywood again.
Yes, definitely one of the funniest movies ever. I heard that "Dumb & Dumber" is very funny as well. It's on the list. Thanks for watching! (:
I still love this movie.
Yeah, I can see why!! Loved it as well and probably always will! (:
Thank you Mike. Appreciate your honest eyes. You’re a good man. Jessica is a superstar, beautiful to the eyes but way more beautiful to the heart and spirit. Stay real and never change. Really appreciate you 2
Aww, what a super-nice comment. This made our day, we really appreciate it! Thank you, Dr. Anderson!! ((:
Great reaction to an awesome movie ... one of my favorites !!!
Thank you Steve, we appreciate you watching, and thanks for the comment! (:

You guys are really good. I usually don’t watch movie reactions, but I love how you see the humor. You should react to Superbad if you guys haven’t seen it!
Thanks, Bonbonbon!! Oh, "Superbad" is a new suggestion. I put it on the list! Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
One of my favorite Jim Carey movies. Thanks.
Yes, this was an amazing movie! Thanks for watching! (:
11:43 i love the litle/big girl laugh 🙂
Thanks for laughing along with us! (:
her laugh ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you x5. (:
Love your reactions!
Aw, thank you so much. Stay tuned for more! (:
I know in the movie, he can't find a good cause for a continuance. Set up for the trial and that was part of the comedy.
Had he thought about it...he did have a logical and good cause for one.
He had only been assigned the case in the last 48 hours. Not enough time to fully prepare his case, and he could have asked for a week to get fully prepared.
Aside from this it is a very funny movie and Jim Carrey is and always has been a walking cartoon character.
I would love to suggest more of his films to check out as I am not sure what you have seen of his or have not seen. (First time coming to your channel).
1. Once Bitten (w/ Clevon Little and Lauren Hutton)
2. Earth Girls Are Easy (w/ Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayans and Geena Davis)
3. The Truman Show
4. The Majestic
5. Dumb & Dumber
6. Bruce Almighty
7. Yes Man
8. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
9. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
10. Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls
11. Fun with Dick and Jane
Yes, he has done many more.
@@WolfsDE Oh, cool, never heard of these movies! I'll put them on my growing list! Thanks! (:
SO WHERE ARE THE OUTTAKES?? EVERYONE WHO REACTS TO THIS INCLUDES THEM!!! BOOOOOO ITS THE BEST PART!! 😡😡😡😡WTH!!!
Sorry, movie man... I made a mistake by not including them and you're right, they ARE indeed hilarious. But, besides that, CHILL OUT! (:
Max's true second wish was for a brother...
Yeah, I think you're right! Thanks for watching! (:
You all wouldnt notice i bet but when he gets thrown off and lands in luggage when the show the crowd before they agow him on the stretcher. Jim is in the background dressed as one of his characters from the show in living color. Fire Marshall Bill. Lol. 38:45 mark..check background. You will see him
I had no idea, but someone else mentioned it a few days ago. Also, I wouldn't know the living color characters, but I appreciate "Easter Eggs" in movies... Thanks, Sean! (:

Yes, I did see the outtakes... Hilarious!! Thanks for watching! (:
I just noticed that scene when he goes to the bathroom he was drinking a lot of water so that he can go to the bathroom so that he couldn’t lie about it
Yes, that is a very good observation! Thanks for watching! (:
Good observation, that is something I hadn't noticed before. Something I did catch though, is that when he said to his secretary that he didn't understand the question, he was lying.
@@imnotabotrlyimnot good point, I think it’s because since he’s a lawyer by instinct he’s more focused on winning for his client and he’s always won, but genuinely maybe he didn’t understand the question because justice is a word he naturally has no concern for, winning is the focus for him

@@Notepad37 YES, that actually crossed my mind several times. Thx! (:
38:44 Fire Marshall Bill!
Yep, in Liar Liar, 1997, Jim Carrey makes a cameo in his own movie as fire marshal Bill, a character he invented when he was on the show “In Living Color”. (:
So how did u guys got into UA-cam or why decided want to do reactions
Good question... Many reasons... First of all, we're filmmakers ourselves, so we like the subject. I also realized how many movies I missed in the 90s because I worked so damn hard when I came to this country. Didn't speak English, had three jobs, worked 6-7 days a week, no TV, no money, no streaming service etc. Then, a few months ago, I came across "Popcorn in Bed" which is probably the best reaction channel on UA-cam. I assume they have a lot of "behind-the-scene" help because everything is very professional. We do everything ourselves and we can hardly keep up... But we LOVE it and we LOVE our audience. Our Patreon page is also something we'll keep in mind for the distant future. I think we'll do another reaction in a few hours, "Happy Gilmore" or something. Anyway, stay tuned. Thanks for watching! (:
New sub. Great movie.

has anyone suggested Monty python and the holy grail as a comedy reaction yet

PLEASE do Mr's Doubtfire.
Hi Ali, yes, we just did Mrs. Doubtfire a few weeks ago. Here's the link and make sure you subscribe: ua-cam.com/video/nLlbSZp5dK0/v-deo.htmlsi=KYVT8Rx2PFKQy3Du
I love you guys and she's a wonderful beautiful sweetheart ❤️, but golly a lot of lines go over Mrs. Boss head 😊
Thanks for watching and thanks for the love. I'm sure plenty of lines went over my head as well. Let's tone down the criticism if possible. And keep in mind that watching a movie the first time is different than knowing every line ahead of time. Ja? (:
Bathroom scene was the best.....
Hilarious indeed! (:
The actor who played the Judge died before the film came out so he never got to see his part.
Oh, really? That's a shame, I'm sure he would've loved it! Thanks for sharing this piece of Trivia! (:
23:25 we laugh about it, but if the Hungarian translation is good (for me), it's rather sad that this is happening

@@BossMovieReactions cool. Checking out your other reactions now. Good stuff.
@@saksit247 Thank you. I'm currently editing INTERSTELLAR. Already worked on it for 34 hours and still not done. Long movie! Out this coming Saturday. (:
The silly part is Fletcher used Samantha's age to get out of the prenup, but it would have annulled her marriage completely.
I think Fletcher implied that a minor can't enter into ANY legal contract, which would include the marriage AND therefore the prenup. Anyway, GREAT movie! Thanks for watching! (:
@@BossMovieReactions He didn't, though. Samantha got half her husband's assets, which she wouldn't be entitled to if the marriage was invalid.
@@diarrheagondola Yep, that is a good point! (:
Legal Eagle had a great analysis. You also can’t benefit from a contract you entered fraudulently. You can enter into a contract before 18 but once you reach 18 you can decide if you want to stay in the contract or not.
The simple answer is: it’s not simple.
The ending of the movie would be the start of long legal proceedings
@@merchillio Haha... Yes, the start of endless legal gobbledygook!! Thanks for watching! (:
