I absolutely loved this show & watching this now makes me so angry at Mark for all he did to the lovely cast! A complete abuse of power that taints the show now. It will still remain a fantastic show & one of my all time favourites but I’m so disappointed and feel so bad for the female cast that had to endure this disgusting man’s behaviour!

Watching this in 2016 because they are still my favourites. One Tree Hill will forever remain my favourite TV show. It just had so much heart and so much depth, right from the beginning. Characters came and went and although there were some nasty characters, the sense of love, family and personal growth overarching the show never wavered, and that's what made the show so special. It wasn't just a typical teen show, it came with all sorts of messages that really resonated with both teenagers and adults. "There is only one Tree Hill and it's your home". ❤
Now that we know what mark did when Sophia's talking about the auditions what he said to her and the way she looks at him is just heartbreaking and horrible
Watching this again after the sexual harrassement allegations against Mark Shwan, just to see that most of the OTH girls present kept a straight face when he was talking, not showing that much emotion, and I understand why now...#burnitdownsis

And I stumbled upon a video without any sound when Sophia was rubbing Mark's back. And I saw that was a thing he required from them and something they denounced...it was also really uncomfortable...
I missed Lucas and Peyton when they left the show, but Clay and Quinn were amazing characters. They added that comedy that the show really started to need. Love the entire cast.
Its ashame mark schwann couldn't keep his hands to himself and be more professional. He has scumbag written all over him. Hope he never produces again.
Mark thought he was such cool shit back then. Probably still does. To me, as a writer and creative person myself, it is such a profound shame that this mastermind (like so many others as we have learned) who put together such an amazing story of all these characters could not keep the bar raised higher for his wonderful ensemble instead of taking them for granted and thinking he was too far removed from reality and his own self-entitlement for criminal conduct. It is a true misfortune on his part and a shame that he never owned up to his misconduct.
Yeah, i noticed that! Is that what ppl were referring to when they said Marks "abuse of power". I mean the show did great, so i wasn't aware that there was any bad blood between some of the cast & director of the show!
A few things I will say about the legendary One Tree Hill. It made directors and writers out of some of the actors. It was as much about the adults as it was about the teenagers as the adult characters stole the show and were more unstable than the kids. Especially Dan Scott. Although Basketball was the backdrop, it was never the full centre piece which stopped it being a pedestrian Jock Prince led teen sports series. It neither glorified or demonised teenage pregnancy. But it made the idea of getting married young look almost too cool for its own good. It was quite action packed with alot of multilayered alpha females and multiple fights. When it came to family and love affairs, OTH had it all. With multiple sustainable love stories. Some had the happy ever after. Others didn't. Thanks to the masterstroke of skipping the college years in season 5, One Tree Hill managed to transcend its genre and blossoms to a fully fledged young adult drama and last for 9 seasons. An achievement matched only by the majestic Beverly Hills 90210 which lasted 10. And finally One Tree Hill was the true successor to and lasted 3 more seasons than the great teen soap legend that is Dawson's Creek.
Yes I missed Lucas and Peyton, however the show was still SO GOOD! The storylines were intense and interesting, and I grew to really love the new characters. There was so much heart and meaning to the show. The writing and acting was amazing. I loved the entire series.

Wow, Mark can’t even hide the creep factor in front of a huge crown of people. I like how Sophia low key called him out. What Hilarie, Sophia, and Bethany said about him is absolutely terrifying. Horrible dude.
I know that’s what I said guy is a creep love one tree hill he ruined it for sure he shouldn’t of let Keith die he changed it all he wanted him fired so that’s why he changed it and then letting Lucas and Peyton go like what hell is wrong you two main characters Lucas and Peyton big part in one tree hill should of been there for every season till the end should of for sure had season 10 instead of a short season 9 he ruined it

My life will never be the same without OTH in it :") It was time for the show to end and I was REALLY happy with the way they ended it... but here I am 2 years later and I still feel like this show has changed my life in an unexplainable way therefore I will never be able to let go of the characters and their stories completely
I honestly have never loved a show more in my entire life. Now, I have fallen in love with shows but nothing compares to One Tree Hill. One Tree Hill was like part of me, I felt connected to it (not in a creepy psychotic way) but it was the best show in the world. I got SO into it and attached and never wanted it to end. I felt like I really knew the characters and it was so great. I will never forget One Tree Hill

WOW..James Lafferty is soooo quiet! Never imagined he was a "man of few words" compared to his character Nathan who is so outgoing and outspoken. But I like it, it's cool.. :)

I love how weird Stephen and Rob and James are because that’s so refreshing. They’re just normal and odd and funny and clearly found their calling entertains us. My favorite moments in tv history include them all

Oh my, I can't watch this without crying my eyes out, One Tree Hill was the best show ever! The fact that Dr Renee Vincent played Jimmy's mom makes this so much better. Personally, I think Paul Johanson, Chad M. Murry and Hilarie Burton should have been there too, as well as Moira Kelly and Craig Sheffer, but this seriously made me cry within the first 30 seconds. I'm so sad that this is over, but I am so happy I got to experience this.

I'm currently in round two of binge watching One Tree Hill.. And the fact that I live less than four hours north of Wilmington is pretty awesome. The cast and crew of OTH and Dawson's Creek have all been here in the county where I live numerous times during production just to visit.
it's been 11 years today since the first episode and i just finished the last one. Seeing this interview with all the cast makes me so happy, i wish i was old enough to watch it as it was released, it literally changed my life :) OTH is one of the best shows ever created
I remember the night One Tree Hill aired. When I was living in LA, my mom came to visit so of course I took her shopping at The Grove. The cast happened to be there doing something with Sunkiss. It was so cool, I think I still have pictures someplace.
I have never met a person who took the time to actually watch this show, to say that they didn't like it. BEST SHOW EVER...I miss it so much...My tuesday nights are so lonely without it :(
My 2 favorite shows are One Tree Hill & Buffy, it’s sad to know that both Mark & Joss Whedon treated their female cast members poorly, mainly Mark. He exploited Sophia & Chad’s divorce and sexually harassed Daneel/Hilarie. Glad Sophia’s career soared & Hilarie has a family with Negan.
watching this nine years later after all of the accusations on mark really changes everything. how all the fans clapped and applauded him while sophia and joy and everyone else had to suffer through him for years.
this made me cry so bad :'( i wish i was there. It put a smile to my face when they mentioned chad bcos i miss Hilarie and Chad and it seems like they have forgotten them. Its true tho there is no other tv show out there like OTH and a show like that should be shown on tv. And in the end I have learnt so much from this show and so have others and I am glad that a show like this existed. I have so much more to say but then it will be like a page long. We will never forget you One Tree Hill

i'm in love with this show, and even though it's over i will never be able to let go of it because i grew up with it since middle school and it give me laughs, advice, cries, lessons, and an escape from my life when i needed it. i'd just sit down and watch an episode online and it was what i needed to get me out of a bad mood. it just gave me everything and so much more you can get from a show. they say thank you to us but i truly wish i could tell them how much this show means to me

One Tree Hill has been such a memorable experience for me. Sophia Bush... great acting and hope to meet you someday. Love everyone else too.

I'm currently in round two of binge watching One Tree Hill.. And the fact that I live less than four hours north of Wilmington is pretty awesome. The cast and crew of OTH and Dawson's Creek have all been here in the county where I live numerous times during production just to visit.
I just love watching this, if you have the seasons you need to watch all the special features.

it's been 11 years today since the first episode and i just finished the last one. Seeing this interview with all the cast makes me so happy, i wish i was old enough to watch it as it was released, it literally changed my life :) OTH is one of the best shows ever created
I remember the night One Tree Hill aired. When I was living in LA, my mom came to visit so of course I took her shopping at The Grove. The cast happened to be there doing something with Sunkiss. It was so cool, I think I still have pictures someplace.

My 2 favorite shows are One Tree Hill & Buffy, it’s sad to know that both Mark & Joss Whedon treated their female cast members poorly, mainly Mark. He exploited Sophia & Chad’s divorce and sexually harassed Daneel/Hilarie. Glad Sophia’s career soared & Hilarie has a family with Negan.
watching this nine years later after all of the accusations on mark really changes everything. how all the fans clapped and applauded him while sophia and joy and everyone else had to suffer through him for years.
this made me cry so bad :'( i wish i was there. It put a smile to my face when they mentioned chad bcos i miss Hilarie and Chad and it seems like they have forgotten them. Its true tho there is no other tv show out there like OTH and a show like that should be shown on tv. And in the end I have learnt so much from this show and so have others and I am glad that a show like this existed. I have so much more to say but then it will be like a page long. We will never forget you One Tree Hill
