Until you realize the stars gets bigger and bigger and too much for you to handle and you suddenly realize that the stars are blazing hot to the point that you might die and you'll try to escape but the stars won't give up on you that easily, you'll get pulled and pulled until you exhaust yourself from trying to escape but that won't matter because for every effort you make to try and escape, the stars that you once considered to be small and nice are so big that you get overwhelmed and all of your puny efforts will go to waste. You will get consumed by the thing that you desire the most. The stars might look nice from a distance without batting an eye you'd think it'll be worth it in the end but you were foolish enough to try and achieve your puny dreams even though everyone knows that just leads to heartbreak and death. Alot of important spike chunsoft dangan producers moved to a studio to make their own gmaes called Tookyo games. They're working on other games and from what I know they have no intention for now of making another one. I forgot the interview but i remember the dev said that he'd like to see someone else take a shot at it. As for the games pretty sure they're making another killing game, not dangan though. Under the name Death March Club it's a game about KIDS, not teens, killing each other. I don't have much info on it as I don't keep up to date with it but point is don't be expecting another dangan game or split off anytime soon.
Nagito, Mikan, and Peko all ended up surviving in the end though. At the end of SDR2, it was revealed that the killing game was a simulation, so everyone who died ended up surviving. However, since Chiaki died in the real world, as seen in the anime, she also died in the virtual world. So all your waifus and husbandos from the second game are safe!! :DD (Besides Chiaki though T-T)
I like how the voices in the back are saying "reach for the sun." I think it has something to do with Monokumas motives which pressure them to kill someone so they can get out of there. That's probably the best way I can put it
Grape Panta Still doesn’t fit. Gundham killed Nekomaru because Monokuma wouldn’t let the students leave the funhouse unless a murder occurred. He was essentially affected by the motive, yet “reach for the stars” wasn’t in his execution music.

Chiaki: Nagito filled one of the fire grenades (puts the fire out) with poison and tested his luck that the traitor will throw the one with poison. Nagito lit a fire and everyone threw fire grenades and Chiaki (the traitor I think) threw the one with poison thus accidentally killing Nagito.

B. I’m now depressed because I remember this scene.
Now i don't PLAY danganronpa nor do i have plans to do so in the future but if i'm being honest chiaki's death is really haunting to me, idk about you but i would absolutely HATE to be in her shoes at that moment, i'm TERRIFIED of being crushed to death! Just the thought of your bones breaking under the pressure of an incredibly heavy object until you feel your skull just get crushed and cave in on itself (if you're even lucky enough to still be alive) and suddenly all that's left of you is a mess of mashed up organs and stuff is horrifying! AND it sounds mad painful!

I literally cried at this. It's good yes it is, but it's literally the background music to the scene where my favorite character of dr2 dies for the second time.

This was sad as hell, like damn. Chiaki was one of the best girls. She was so useful too. And her entire thing at the end of the game where she fused with Hajime and Izuru after motivating Hajime. It really solidified her as one of the best characters in the series
If you watch the anime, you'd even think more of her... best waifu by far ;(
