Mineral City was sooooooo cool! It was a little hard to film, but some people were cool with it! Really different experience than the rest of the shows!
I imagine it would be tough to film but it’s got to be worth the try :) did you put out your video on it yet I wanna see what I missed out on so bad it must be amazing
Fluoride is so amazing I have raw (beautiful cube clusters large & tiny) to Beautiful carvings towers & spheres. The last being my favorite in my collection! Not to mention the colors on a light stand! Beautiful!!!
Thank you Dave for all of your videos, ESPECIALLY all the wonderful footage of the Gem and mineral show in Arizona ! I was also there this year (1st timer) , but i was only able to see about 1/4 of all the wonderfulness there. So you , and a few other you tubers helped me to see what I missed (sad for me, but good for my wallet LOL) It would have been cool to run into you and tell you thank you in person , maybe next year.
Thanks for sharing your journey with us Dave 🥰! I Love your vidéos, watching from my bed cause I'm sick, and I really enjoy it, it's like I'm out there with you! 🙏🏼💫
I wouldn't have been able to see the smithsonite collection without asking about it and pricing. Such a cool variation from around the world. Would be a great display.
I have a geode that looks just like the one at 25:48 -- same rind, matrix, and clear lining - and I'm hoping someone can identify the locality and minerals for me. Thanks!
So proud of myself... 🤪 when I saw the Matrix the Topaz is in, I thought it looked like the one from the Thomas Range. I have a Bixbyite specimen from that location ^^
Standard procedure for 100+ years: unusual or out-of-place artifacts or remains are found, local ‘authorities’ are called, whom call in “experts”, whom, in turn bring in the Smithsonians to “examine” the finds. Articles are written, hoaxes declared or events said to have not happened. Time passes and original finders wonder when they’ll be able to see their stuff again (never)… Then their reputations are called into question (or worse) while the institutionalists laugh laugh laugh at the country club. The general public then chastise “conspiracy nuts” and consume pablum and rote lies…
Lol this is the only show we've been to where someone wasn't happy with us taking video. Somebody actually called the cops on you?? We had a guy come up and with a bit of anger in his voice "do me a favor and not record my whole booth". We started just asking vendors if they're ok with video after that and most were. Those who aren't should just have a little sign or something, it's a public show after all.
Oof I know right just have a sign or something 😭 yeah lady who had a booth who is crystals and gold specimens called the cops on me last time I was there The cars are super cool gonna do anything about it they said I didn’t have to delete my footage and I didn’t have to leave but what I please now go back to a booth lol
Fantastic place! Everything is Interesting! Items are beautiful!
Lapidary Dave Followers.... Does that make us Stoners? YES!

Cristal yang sangat indah
Hi Dave wondering if sunwest silver is a good place to buy rough turquoise and has good quality
They are not a bad place to get turq but definitely a retail price so could be a lot more then other places

My burning question: were you able to open the Japanese puzzle box at the booth that was giving away free crystals?
I wasn’t and didn’t even see it 😭😭😭😭😭 I would have loved to try
@@lapidarydave Aww man. Next year though! I believe the vendor was Molten Gems from Nevada City.
Dang no coverage on the YMC case
What’s that?
@@lapidarydave the young mineral collectors group. They also did an apatite supergroup themed case at the main show
Heya
I talk about Smithsonian destroying giant bones in this video lol
Yeah heard that…
Dump ‘em in the ocean and deny everything.
@@flashbackactivator6565 have you heard that or am I trippin?
