That reverb or effect send tip was a GEMMMM. The way I interpreted it is in pro tools I have a vocal audio track and on 'send a' I input (at unity) a send called 'reverb 1' and then on that 'reverb 1' aux in pro tools I have it sending to 5 a plate, a valhalla, a room, a chamber, and a hall - I then start at infinity db and turn up each send a few db's to create a unique blend of all 5 reverbs. This is way better than having those 5 reverb send directly on the vocal and eliminates the amount of decisions that need to be made during recording and mixing - and if need be that I need to get in there and adjust each reverb individually I can.

Create a bus, add the effect and name it, then repeat with whatever effect you want on the bus…then go to the track and look for bus insert, its underneath the pan knob, click to add bus send and go to bus, then select the bus you named. Next turn the send up to where you hear it and go from there…hope that helps
