Very good vinyl scores. For Led Zeppelin II, make sure you check the runout markings, if there's an "RL" on there it could be worth $200-$300. For the Hendrix, if the label is "tri-color" with a steamboat, it's worth a lot more.
Good strategy on the 3DS XL. I've done that many times myself. I used to be tripping over old game stuff at yard sales a few years ago, but resellers snap everything up now and beat us collectors to everything. I'm turning the tables now and learning what other stuff resellers look for to make some extra cash. 😈 I'm sure I'll still find some old games for myself along the way. All's fair in love, war, and yard sales! 😂

Great Bible and Nintendo find. Oh my, had to close our eyes too for Raggy Ann >:) not sure Ms. Candice heard you. Garage sales are having some nice items BUT some of the homeowners are ridiculous high with pricing. If we hear them say "well on Ebay it sells for...." we just walk away.
Last time I was at Goodwill, I was amazed how much inventory they had on the shelves - I think their strategy of we're going to take out the middleman and make ALL of the money ourselves isn't going as well as they had hoped. At first, there were fewer broken items but now, it's back to broken items 90% of the time.

That New 3DS XL is a great seller. I can't believe you got it for a $1. New 2DS XL are just as good as well. They just don't have the 3D function. I have a New 2DS XL and it's one of my favorite handhelds. Both models are easy to mod and there is big community for it. Here is a pro tip for you Candice. Some models will say New in the name that means that's the last model that came out and the chip is a little more powerful then the other models. There is around six games that can only play on the new model because it needs the power. There is a New 2DS XL and New 3DS XL. Nintendo did a bad job with the naming.

Lonnie before you lost that Led Zeppelin album with the Brown cover, look at the dead wax and look for RL stamp. If your album has that stamp, you may want to reconsider what you’re selling it for. That would be a Robert Ludwig pressing. VERY DESIRABLE!!! $$$$$

Nice Goodwill score, all that stuff would've been $1.49 each at our Goodwill. Ours charges $1.49 for toys, puzzles and games.
The ones here won't put anything out for less than $2.98 and that's just books and DVDs or individual salt or pepper shakers, which they normally price separately so a pair is $6 lol

It is not unethical to pay the asking price. If they tried to hide it or took it from somewhere that had a price on the table and said “hey this wasn’t priced” or something, that wouldn’t be right. But if you ask someone “how much” and they say $1 then it’s fair to pay $1 and no issue.
So you intentionally short changed a mission trip fundraiser to get a Nintendo item?item??
No, they paid what was asked of them. There’s a big difference between shorting someone and paying the asking price.

He explained how they approached with several items to keep the lady from looking too closely at what they were asking a price for. Feared a teenager might see what they had and tell her to ask more. He knew he had an item potentially worth 100s of dollars and this was a fundraiser. For all their talk about ethics they sure seemed to be trying to sneak an expensive item past the person giving prices. Other resellers like Cincinnati Picker will actually tell a seller they are asking way too much because they know the value of what they are selling and he will pay more. Another reseller, Curiosity Inc bought something from a homeless guy for 20 bucks. Later learned the item was with thousands. He tracked that homeless man down and gave him 1/2 of what he sold it for. That is ethical business practice.
I have sold that Hemi model before and I got over $100 for it.
