One of the best reviews I've ever seen! Incredibly informative, and from a tour guide point of view! I always like seeing that, because everyone knows you can't afford to have tourist gear fail on you. Your guests are lucky.
Thank you so much for the appreciation and kind words :)

Hey, Shashank! Thanks so much for this review. I've been looking for a binocular for a few months now and I, finally got to make a decision after watching this video! I'm gonna get one of those for me. Best regards from Brazil!
The best is in the eye of the beholder :) The Solognac 500 8x42 binoculars are a good value buy and quite popular in India, most birders find it a good budget roof-prism binocular to start with. Personally, haven't used them much so can't comment on how their field performance.
Hello, the comparison is great, I bought a 10x42 green Outland from Amazon in 2016, now I bought it from Aliexpress, it looks the same, but there is no popping sound when I turn the eyes and lift it up! What do you think? Is the green Outland 10x42 I bought from Aliexpress fake???
@@ceylontimetraveller Hi, I seem some minor differences in the specifications. The above review is for the Celestron Outland X black, have not used the Green so will not be able to comment on the same.
Good evening, sir! Thank you so much for reviewing the binoculars! I ordered myself from aliexpress exactly the same model Celestron-8x25! Sir please tell me how the image quality is(in the center and at the edge of the field of view)--the picture is not soapy around the edge or a little? Thanks!
The swarovski EL 8.5 x 42 is a beast for bird watching. Thats the benchmark :) Having said that, my wife uses a celestron 8 x 25 for casual nature viewing while on safari and she is really happy with it.
Swarovski optics are an absolute dream buy for any passionate birdwatcher and you can scarcely get a better experience viewing birds, however they are quite a bit heavy on the wallet 😀 And yes, the Celestron 8X25 is a good all-purpose travel binocular, happy to hear your wife has a good experience using them!
@@ShashankBirla I've recently also bought a compact 10x26 bresser pirsch as I didnt want to carry my Swaro ELs into the national parks for safari (heavy and red dust), do check out the bresser pirsch series. Personally I rate this compact better than my wife's celestron outland pocket i mentioned above and it is available in Delhi. I didnt have it imported like my swaro or my hawke compact spotting scopes..
@@subhrobhattacharya1077 Fantastic to hear you have got Bresser-Pirsch binoculars, again an excellent brand providing great optics. Not surprised they are outperforming the Celestron outland pocket, as I believe the compact Bresser-Pirsch would have higher specifications (including coating) compared to the Celestron Outland Pocket, and may be a bit higher in price as well. Great choice and Happy Birding!
Thx for this insightful video Shashank. For a newbie who is buying his first binoculars it was much needed. I have zeroed down to Celestron Outland X 10x42 but unfortunately I can't find it at any of the offline stores in Bombay to try and feel them. Should I take a leap of faith & buy them directly? I need it for birdwatching purposes at National Parks in the US. And would buying from US in that case make more sense?
You can certainly buy the Celestron Outland X online, just be sure to check the product thoroughly once received so there are no lens alignment issues. You will actually have greater choice in the USA, and at good prices, so I will suggest to buy in the USA if more of your use is going to be there.
@@ShashankBirla Thanks for the answer! Do you recommend this binoculars for $50 dollars? I saw one comment saying they have a yellowish color on the edges. Is it true? Thanks bro
I think Nikon Aculon 8X42 is better. However bro im proud to have an Indian person sharing precise info on youtube. Its easier because we have some level of familiarity in terms of binos available here..so its easier to relate. 👍
I bought these on prime day for around $66. I kind of wanted the 8x42 because I do backyard birdwatching but those weren’t on sale. Hope the 10x42 isn’t overkill.
EDIT: The binoculars are multi-coated, and not fully multi-coated. Link to article for comparison of the other models in Celestron Outland X series: www.shashankbirla.com/celestron-outland-x-binoculars-a-review-for-bird-watching/
Hi Arjun, though Pentax is a well-known brand in optics, I have not had an opportunity to test this model. Also, the price seems to be higher than the starting range of roof prism binoculars so might not be a fair comparison with the Celestron Outland X series which is more of a budget range :)
Sir i have purchased solognac 10x42 binoculars 100 for 6999 please tell me is it a good choice is it better than nikon ACULON A211 10x50 i chose solognac binoculars because they are waterproof and no other brand was offering waterproof binoculars soooo at this price i done lots of research for binoculars and decided to go for this solognac binoculars please tell me is it a right choice
It is a good budget buy, not many roof-prism binoculars in that price range. I have not personally used them, but have friends who have, and they have mentioned they are satisfied with the results for the price. As shared, because I haven't used the Solognac binoculars, can't compare to Nikon Aculon A211, which are quite popular and are a very good buy in the porro prism design.

Would you suggest this over Olympus s 10x50 and Pentax SP 10x50?
Based on specifications, Pentax SP would have the edge. Have not used the Pentax though. As shared, I prefer roof-prism designs :)

How to photo from celestron like we saw in celestron🙏
I'm gonna buy new binoculars today and I'm confused between celestron outland× and bresser wave, what will you suggest?
If available at the same cost, the Bresser Wave may be a better option as some of the specs are better.
Great review! I want to buy one, but I'm not sure if they are MC or FMC! Do you have this info? I saw that you said that they are FMC! Thanks ^^
