Wildlife..Safaris..Nature. India's national parks and tiger reserves have many stories to uncover, join me, Shashank Birla as we journey to forge a lifelong connection with nature.
I am a naturalist & photojournalist, and founder of our safari tour outfit, Wilderlust Expeditions LLP. Having trained as a naturalist with the Jungles Lodges & Resorts, Karnataka and also undertaken several courses on natural history and conservation with organizations such as The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), The Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), United For Nature (A joint initiative by WWF, IUCN, The Nature Conservancy and several organizations) and the iNaturewatch Foundation. My written works have been featured in publications such as National Geographic Traveller India, Saevus, RoundGlass Sustain among others. Besides directing short documentaries, I have also presented in nature-based events by Times of India, Nature in Focus, Sanctuary Asia and Canon.

Based on specifications, Pentax SP would have the edge. Have not used the Pentax though. As shared, I prefer roof-prism designs :)

Good trip. Nice to see you guys sighting a dhole ( which is in my bucket list 😊 too ). The Malabar Giant squirrel sighting was a bonus. And it's certainly not common to be able to see the Tiger, the Leopard and a Bear in the same trip. Lucky guys 👍

Hello, the comparison is great, I bought a 10x42 green Outland from Amazon in 2016, now I bought it from Aliexpress, it looks the same, but there is no popping sound when I turn the eyes and lift it up! What do you think? Is the green Outland 10x42 I bought from Aliexpress fake???
