Loving the chilled vibe and interesting insight into upgrades! Subbed and looking forward to more content from you guys :)
We appreciate the kind words!
I bought the Endurance CF SL 8 disc DI2, in the summer, and it’s a beautiful riding bike. I love it! In my opinion, Canyon makes the sexiest bikes on the planet. Looking back now, I do wish I bought the endurance aero version of my bike. But, I can’t complain with my purchase.
It’s a great bike I think too! I guess you could always slowly upgrade those bits. You have got the main parts already, frame and di2.
Great video both. Quick question if I may: how did the weight compare to what canyon stated on site? I have one on order and I’m just trying to work out what it will be kitted up. Thanks
Thank you! From memory it was only about 25-50g out so you should be able to add it up quite accurately
Nice!
Is that matte color difficult to keep it clean?
I’m receiving this bike by the end of next month. Really like all its features less the color range 😬.
We have only had it long enough for it to be cleaned thoroughly once and it’s seems to be just fine really. We always apply some bike protect after the cleans so that helps keep the paint good and easier to clean next time.
Nice information. I just wonder is had experience any issue with the seatpost like dropped from the normal position.?
Can’t say that that’s happened. Seems to hold just fine.
She weighs like 95 lbs...I doubt she will experience seat post drop.
Useful video, thanks! Do you have any information to share concerning the claims that the seat post on the Ultimate can creak?
Laura is quite a light rider so I’m not sure if that has helped. and from our side of things the seat post has been fine since she has had the bike.
Even after the seatpost coming out a few times.
Definitely had a lot of comments about it though in my canyon ultimate videos questioning if it’s been ok but very few saying they have had the problem itself.
@@cyclingunboxed did you apply the grease/paste to the seat post EXACTLY like it is shown in the Canyon Ultimate assembly video? 🙂
Yea but just did it with my finger. Pasted it on the inside of the seat tube
Did have a chance to ride Trek Edmonda (h1.5 geometry) ? If yes on which bike riding position was more 'relax' ?
Unfortunately neither of us have ridden that bike so we don’t know. Sorry
@@cyclingunboxed how about long rides 100km+ how does the bike feel? Is the riding position very aggressive?
The position on the ultimate is fairly aggressive but Laura seems to get along just fine on 100k plus. First few rides she noticed it but got used to it really quickly. Laura isn’t too flexible either
Hello, I would like to buy same Canyon bike as you, but I have problems with a size of a bike. I am something between size of M or L I think. I am 184 cm and prefer comfortable position on a bike. Can you tell me what size did you buy and how tall are you? Thanks!
If I were you, I would probably measure the dimensions of your current bike and see which category of either M or L and fit closest into the canyon sizing charts best. I don’t know your body measurements other than height so it’s hard to say. It’s a fairly aggressively fitting bike.
If you don’t mind me asking what is the rider height and the bike size?
180cm high and size M bike. She has very long legs
What size bike did you get? What is your crank length?
Size M with 172.5 crank
@@cyclingunboxed Thanks for the answer! What’s the rider’s height if I may ask…? Love the video!
Did you experience the seat post sinking problem?
No she hasn’t but had a lot of comments about it.
Laura, this bike is too sexy!
What's data fields do you have on your garmin @2:00?
This is a second screen that I use most of the time
Speed w/ average
Heart rate w/ average
Power w/ average
Cadence, gradient
Di2 battery, gear i am in
I hope that helps.
Which cassette did you upgrade to?
10-33t still force
Nice PS jersery
