  • "We are all Chinese.
Did you know that we for 4000 years have been the most powerful civilization?
Why is China so sick today in Modern Day? Why are we the weakest country in the world?
Why do Chinese people do not care about the current situation?..."

Sun Yat Sen (1866-1925) here spoke in Pearl River Delta Yue Cantonese.

He has a slight Sek-Key accent to his Cantonese. This was the major form of Cantonese in ZhongShan (former HongShan), near Seke city.

Pretty good audio for being in 1924 and from China. I can understand almost all of what he said even if the subtitles are in mandarin.

You call Taiwan a “province” as if the PRC is the true representative of what Sun Yat-sen wants. As if you, my fellow compatriot do not understand the how much the PRC has contradicted the foundational principles of Sun Yat-Sen.

@@WoAiTuMadre2698How exactly did Chiang uphold Sun’s beliefs following his death? After all, it was his actions that resulted in the present conflict instead of keeping a united front like Sun had

@@anthonywinebarger I am not talking about Chiang. I am explaining the folly of ever connecting the PRC with the Three Principles of the People. Why assume that I even like Chiang? In the end of the day, Chiang practiced Authoritarianism and failed to instate the Republic while the CCP still practices Authoritarianism for the gain of delusional or power crazed officials.

    Good video!
I'm just sad he converted to christianity.
It was an ironic example of the very weakness he lamented - we got scattered spiritually, politically, economically, educationally, militarily, ... 😔
We will get stronger. ALL Chinese.
We will Unite some way, somehow.
It won't be through war - this is what our enemies want.
