Excellent video. You highlighted several things other professional reviewers haven't: 1) the colour difference between selita and calibre versions - this is huge. If you got blue of each, they look different 2) the size comparison, which you demonstrated isn't that big between 41.5mm and 43.5mm. Very useful. I want the blue but having seen the green it's very attractive also.

I bought my 39.5mm Oris Aquis two years ago and love it. I had them special order my version which has a black matte brushed ceramic insert, matte black dial and fully brushed bracelet. I have the same size wrist (6.5”) and I much preferred the 39.5mm over the larger 41.5mm, though my version wasn’t available in that size. I preferred to get the SW200 movement as the servicing is much cheaper and can be done anywhere. Absolutely love the watch though. Very high quality and a beautiful design. Can’t recommend an Aquis enough.
I’m on the verge of pulling the trigger on the calibre 400, i do love the sellita version but the sunburst dials of the calibre 400s are just too good. I went back a couple of times just to see the watch again. 😂 like an annoying customer that i am, but it’s not a cheap watch, it needs some thinking but i agree with you regarding how beautiful the watch is, and the quality, is too good for the price point. I just couldn’t decide which one to get between the 3 colours. They are all amazing. 💆🏼♂️😂
Thanks you for the video. I just ordered an Oris Aquis Caliber 400 in green and in blue as well as the Rado Captain Cook in green to be delivered my local store in Germany. They are both great watches and both have similar shape but their own unique distinctive style. I am very excited to have a direct comparison. The only thing that I find not so cool about Oris is that they have their own mechanism for changing the straps that makes the watch incompatible with regular straps.
@@dimi-ro whew, what a treat getting 2 watches! And i agree about the bracelet! It would’ve been nice if we can swap it with any strap, and i also don’t like the rubber strap that oris provides, not a big fan of straps with an “in your face” brand name😂
@ I must have misspoken. I meant that I ordered them through the website to a local branch to try them on. I've already tried them on. I like the green dial color of the Aquis better than the green dial color of the Captain Cook. Overall, the Oris look more massive and rough than the Rado. I have a narrow wrist and the Captain Cook fits me better, so I chose this model.
I actually think the dimmer light makes them look better. My local AD has very bright lights, it can make watches look shallow somehow. I’m thinking of getting the 41.5mm in blue, agree that the new dials are something else!
Good point. In person, dim or bright light, they all look awesome. 🤩 and yet here i am, still haven’t decided on which one. Good thing they are all easy to get. I’ve tried them multiple times but i’m getting close to picking one. I’m still betting on the green but the blue and grey just gets me every time! 😂
my wrist is smaller (5.8") where 39.5mm is the better option, but i chose the 41.5mm instead mainly because of the size proportion and less crowded dial.
