Her vocal control is EXTRAORDINARY. People who are not singers don't realize even Beyonce herself sings this sing one tone lower than she does on record (meaning she sings it low and the producers made it sound higher on their computers for the album version).The reason: this song is extremely difficult. But Charice is singing it like she's singing Happy Birthday, LOL! Amazing talent!
They actually just play the song in a different Key. They don't have to go back in and make it sound "higher"

+Kaylasa JaguarStar Correct. This song is in the key of A major and Beyonce records it two steps down, her voice is not that high but Charice can do it normally. That is why this sounds so incredible, it is natural. Even though it was recorded with a potato.

No way this was 12 years ago. I’ve always been a huge fan of Charice. Been seeing her since she was around 10 years old being an underdog at a few local singing contests until she was noticed internationally and then now that she’s become Jake and out and proud as a transgender man. As a Filipino I’m always proud of her.

OMG SHE'S SINGING W/ NO MIC BUT IT'S STILL POWERFUL!! She's got a good and wide vocal range, very deep and soulful.
This is what I love about her. She's dynamic and she loves to play with the song. I love how she sings, it's effortlessly beautiful.
I don't think some people realize that she is not just another rising star... she's still a teenager! She's an 18 year old native filipina from a poor broken home. She's worked hard to overcome adversity for such a young girl and her vocals are natural - not produced in a studio like most pop singers today. That's what makes this performance so special.
The title above says "US Weekly." You would never have guessed it's the US Weekly Magazine New York office or know that the guy to the left is Marc Johnston, talent manager of 16-time Grammy winner David Foster, Jackie Evancho and Charice or the guy to the right is Ian Drew, Senior Editor of US Weekly Magazine.
If she could just continue being charice, charice would probably have award.
