Fantastic. At an age of 14 I attended my first kiss concert in Norway 1984. I met Bruce next day on main street of Oslo. He was surpriced being recognized as he just joined kiss as mark st john became ill. I still have a photo of Bruce from that day and his signature. He was a humble and non-famlus appreciating person. Animalize was excellent. Thanks
Bruce and his band have been the highlight on the KISS Kruise for the last few years. They're a reminder not only of Bruce's immense talent, but also that KISS has some great songs from this era of the band written by Paul Stanley. Thanks for posting these videos!
Very well said man! cheers!.... Boy, I miss those years and those songs (1984)... I was 16 when I bought that GREAT Animalize lp and I’m happy that some great musicians remember it.. Cheers Bruce, cheers that great, great singer.
@Antonio Salieri Im not sure Vinnie could do what Bruce could. Vinnie was a speedster. A good chef knows when not to use salt. Bruce was skilled discretion
@Antonio Salieri I saw KISS when Vinnie was with KISS and he was horrible. He couldn't let go of the whammy bar. Vandenberg opened and Adrian schooled Vinnie.
The only negative thing about this is that they kicked so much ass that I’m DYING to hear them perform the full songs instead of just a medley! Brilliant performances both instrumentally AND particularly vocally!!!
Yes , because Bruce brings singers who can sing and has worked the songs out with the speed and tempo needed to play them live. Look up "Get all you can take" live from 84. Kiss tried it but it just didn't work live 35 years ago and that's when Paul could still sing.
According to his brother Bob they had offers for albums and tour but Bruce didnt want to do it. Everyone else was willing to give it a shot. I love Todds voice!
He needs to drop GFR, no disrespect but we ALL know, no Mark Farner no GFR. And TAKE THIS LINEUP ON TOUR!!! Trust your fanbase, Bruce 🙏🙏🙏...plenty of revenue for thus!!!
Always been a big Bruce fan!!! I always felt after the 1st farewell tour when Ace & Peter left that they should've gotten Eric Singer & Bruce back, took off the makeup & continued from there.
All these forgotten songs. "Lonely is the hunter" with its alternating rhythm has always been one of my favorite KISS songs. A pity they never played it live AFAIK.
I have grown up listening to kiss with Bruce in the band in the 80's/90's. Had the pleasure to see him in 1988 and 1992. Wish I could have seen him on the kruise. This band plays the tunes I want to hear.
I met Bruce at the Arlington Texas Guitar Show about 10 years ago. He was extremely nice and said thanks when I told him his Forever solo was brilliant. This band kicks ass. Great singer.
This line up right here.....maybe the best Kiss EVER! BK STILL shreds, and those vocals are INCREDIBLE! Bruce, PLEASE take this band out on the road, and a new album in the Creatures/Lick/Animalize vein would be KILLER!!
This is amazing!! These Animalize songs stand up well and these guys add fuel to the fire and smoke the shit outa these songs!! I'd rather see this lineup tour then Kiss playing RaRAN and Love gun a million times!
Also most of Animalize is heavy good but totally ignored over the years by Gene and Paul which I understand because Kiss went back to the make up in 96 but this shows how good these songs really are and damn brings back awesome memories
This is insanely on point and Bruce is an absolute guitar maestro. I love 1980s Kiss and it is a shame to never hear many of these awesome songs live anymore.
Ive also been waiting all year to see this footage, BK coming in clutch with fresh new content every year. Really puts kiss down showing how much better he is then gene and paul. He shouldve had his spot back in the band before tommy did. Bruce was the longest and most talented guitarist in kiss.
People don't realize that Kiss went pretty heavy on Animalize and Asylum and they were two of my favorite albums. "Get All You Can Take" was always one of my faves! 2:38
Mr. Kulick, you need to take this band on tour from coast to coast. This era of Kiss is my favorite. I would pay big bucks to see this live, and I think lots of people would. Gene and Paul do not play these songs anymore, and they are great songs.
Ahhh those days... seeing the first live pics with Bruce live on the European tour, and afterwards the animalize live uncensored VHS ... heaven(on fire)!!!
Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz both play in Slash's band The Conspirators. Both of them are Canadian and have their own band called Toque, and Todd rose to fame in Canada with his band Age of Electric.
Absolutely killer! Great job and great band. I agree with many others, Bruce should take this on the road. They would pack clubs with this. Man those two guys singing are fabulous.
Listening to this video being automatically picked by UA-cam for me in the backround, me running some errands. I knew it was a Kiss cover band, 'cause that ain't Paul Stanley's voice...but then, holy shit, I find out that's none other than Todd Kerns on vocals!!! Slash is a lucky guy to have such a singer on the bass...
Omfg that other side singer sounds so much like gene. This band is a better kiss than kiss. It really shows why the set list is always trash. They can't play a set like this without Bruce. He totally just buried tommy
Amazing isn't it, I first thought that Gene was singing, and I looked if this was a fact and couldn't believe it. They should go on tour, and do an European leg as well.
Id much prefer paul come out and say "we dont play obscure material because my voice peaked in the early 90s and I no longer have the range to perform them" I dont think dignity is in the kiss vocabulary.
Thanks for posting this vid. I'd love to hear this, and more, on a really good, produced recording. As always, Brice Kulick is such a Bad-A$$. The guy is amazing, and easily the best guitarist KISS ever had. Not. Even. Close. I'll give Ace a lot of credit for being involved in the writing some of the good earlier stuff. But as far as the guitar goes.... it ain't even close. Bruce by 2 miles.
I'm with you on that. Bruce always dismisses the idea due to schedules but this is way too good. If it's a money thing i think we should crowd fund a show!!!
Thanks
Bruce! These songs need to live on. Tour this, Man! Are you allergic to cash?? Here take my money!!!
I'd pay to see Kulick and Todd Kerns do the KISS tunes from animalize to Carnival of Souls.
Frank Riba Jr. Totally agree!
@@kingofdragontown9680 - for me - Brent Fitz drumming too.
Bruce and his band have been the highlight on the KISS Kruise for the last few years. They're a reminder not only of Bruce's immense talent, but also that KISS has some great songs from this era of the band written by Paul Stanley. Thanks for posting these videos!
Bruce is amazing
Very well said man! cheers!.... Boy, I miss those years and those songs (1984)... I was 16 when I bought that GREAT Animalize lp and I’m happy that some great musicians remember it.. Cheers Bruce, cheers that great, great singer.
I cut my teeth on these tunes as a guitar player....
Bruce was undoubtedly Kiss's best guitarist, extremely technical ... perfect.
While Ace was the coolest, Bruce was technically the best.
Ace coolest?? when you choose drugs and booze over rock n roll you are not cool. Sorry but disagree...
I’m saying Bruce was cool and could play 🤷🏽♂️ accurately as well
@Antonio Salieri Im not sure Vinnie could do what Bruce could. Vinnie was a speedster. A good chef knows when not to use salt. Bruce was skilled discretion
@@rticle15 Love the salt analogy👍
@Antonio Salieri I saw KISS when Vinnie was with KISS and he was horrible. He couldn't let go of the whammy bar. Vandenberg opened and Adrian schooled Vinnie.

Absolute proof right here that 80s KISS doesn't suck!
Nope! Lick it up is AWESOME
Absolutely
Creatures, Lick it up and Animalize were 3 good in a row add Destroyer and you got my 4 favourites.
Burn Kiss Burn.
They can't do a cruise without Bruce anymore.
This is .. Revenge
Good word...
Must be nice to be around someone's who's actually singing for a change
Dirk van der Poel
Please next year do this with Lick It Up. I would love to hear them do Fits Like A Glove!
Yes , because Bruce brings singers who can sing and has worked the songs out with the speed and tempo needed to play them live.
Look up "Get all you can take" live from 84. Kiss tried it but it just didn't work live 35 years ago and that's when Paul could still sing.
I literally would pay a hundred bucks a ticket to see this honestly I would probably pay a little bit more to see this band live someplace
I would too.
Me too
Ace with his backing band should do the 70s Kiss Set and Bruce with this band should do the 80s , then both on stage for encores as a tour together.
These guys are awesome. I wish they would tour and record.
Absolutely. Tour, record and fuckn destroy!
This is great. I've Had Enough is so incredibly underrated. It is so heavy and rocks!!! One of Stanley's finest!!!
Agreed, my favourite song off of Animalize.
Absolutely! It was/is KILLER!
These guys really do an incredible job on it. Who is the singer?
@@jamesbarnett2483 I''m not sure. I would say you could find out on Bruce Kulick's website.
Love, I've had enough!
In truth Paul was so sharp on this album. His writing was incredible. He never wrote a bad song, but this album he was...on fire...wink. lol.
He should take this on the road. This is awesome
Churchill's Tractor this needs to be a full on band.
According to his brother Bob they had offers for albums and tour but Bruce didnt want to do it. Everyone else was willing to give it a shot. I love Todds voice!
Bob could produce. Would be a killer!
He needs to drop GFR, no disrespect but we ALL know, no Mark Farner no GFR.
And TAKE THIS LINEUP ON TOUR!!! Trust your fanbase, Bruce 🙏🙏🙏...plenty of revenue for thus!!!
He makes a lot touring with GFR!!!! Like a LOT!
I've watched this like 5 times over the last few days and I can't help but smile from ear to ear each time.
Bruce is one of the best guitar players from one of the best era of Kiss.I would pay to see him onstage playing these songs,AWESOME GUITAR PLAYER.
RIP Mark St. John!!
Yes great forgotten player
too bad there's not much video footage of Mark
Such an awesome vocalist. Rare these days.
Who is it?
Take him over Miles any day!
@@69xaverius Todd Kerns sings the Paul songs and Zach Throne does the Gene songs
Mark St. John was the biggest influence in all of these songs. That's why Animalize sounds so unique compared to other albums.
I love 80's KISS!
Bruce needs to get these sets into a live album. Im sure there is technicalities with legal, but man I want a 2 disc live album of this!
That would be so awesome.
Maybe a live album of Bruce's own material with some KISS songs here and there. Ace has done it.
That singer is KILLING IT!!!👍🏼👍🏼
Makes you realize what a MONSTER VOCALIST Mr. Stanley used to be in his diamond prime!
I did not expect this to be as good as it is
Always been a big Bruce fan!!! I always felt after the 1st farewell tour when Ace & Peter left that they should've gotten Eric Singer & Bruce back, took off the makeup & continued from there.
It'd be better than Tommy.
Revenge era KISS was awesome
Yes H.I.T.S. and Revenge were fantastic... A third recording in that direction would have been awesome.
While I don't like everything on C.O.S. some of the songs like Childhood's End, Master and Slave, and Hate are awesome too.
Holy crap this was awesome. I’d rather see them then Kiss. Bruce was always my favorite guitarist from Kiss.
THAT was a religious experience. Thanks for posting it.
All these forgotten songs. "Lonely is the hunter" with its alternating rhythm has always been one of my favorite KISS songs. A pity they never played it live AFAIK.
Honestly I don’t think KISS could put this off at this level
...no way in hell.
No chance. Kulick keeps getting better and better
I have grown up listening to kiss with Bruce in the band in the 80's/90's. Had the pleasure to see him in 1988 and 1992. Wish I could have seen him on the kruise. This band plays the tunes I want to hear.
These guys make current KISS sound so slow and boring. Bruce K is mind blowing awesome!
Thanks for the awesome vid!
Wow, awesome, my first KISS album and still one of my favorites!
Wow, excellent vocals and of course guitar playing !
I met Bruce at the Arlington Texas Guitar Show about 10 years ago. He was extremely nice and said thanks when I told him his Forever solo was brilliant. This band kicks ass. Great singer.
I met him in OKC a few years ago at GFR show with my 6-year-old and he was so down to earth and nice.
Lonely is the Hunter is fantastic! That bass player nailed his vocals. And my fave is Get All You Can Take.
for everybody who was there....YOU ARE LUCKY MOTHERFUCKERS !!!....this is awesome ♥
Such a shame these tracks never see the light of day live.
Please take your 80s KISS show on the road for a world tour Bruce!
Waited ALL YEAR for this footage! KULICK KRUISE BABY!! Love this man....
You and me both...waited all year. Haha. Bruce needs to drop GFR and tour this lineup. No brainer!!
This line up right here.....maybe the best Kiss EVER! BK STILL shreds, and those vocals are INCREDIBLE! Bruce, PLEASE take this band out on the road, and a new album in the Creatures/Lick/Animalize vein would be KILLER!!
Bruce is the man!!! Bruce is the bright spot of the Kiss Kruise!
1980 to 1985 is actually my favorite period of the KISStory, so this is awesome!!
Mesmerizing! All of them tower above everything Kiss-related right now.

How great is it when a Live band actually plays LIVE
People don't realize that Kiss went pretty heavy on Animalize and Asylum and they were two of my favorite albums. "Get All You Can Take" was always one of my faves! 2:38

Those guys rocked! Awesome. Plenty of good songs from that era. Thanks to Bruce and the band (great vocals too)!
Bruce ought to have his own cruise and let KISS play second billing to him. He's that good and they've become that bad.
@S S: 31 - as of this post - other people disagree with you. Have a nice day, though.
I totally agree with you stevedrums.
@S S lol
That singer! Damn what a voice! 80s all over again!
Ahhh those days... seeing the first live pics with Bruce live on the European tour, and afterwards the animalize live uncensored VHS ... heaven(on fire)!!!
WOW!!!! Just reminded me how good these songs are... And that singer is realy kicking ass!!
Bruce is a guitar God period!!!!
Bruce, please.. come to Europe with your fantastic musicians and give us that great music..
Bruce and the boys never disappoint on The KISS Kruise!
Damn !!! … That was a TIGHT set !!! :):):)
I literally have chills right now. This is too good for a “one off” show. WOW!!!!!!
Todd and Zach are great vocalists, they do honour to those Kiss songs!
Absolutely fantastic like last year! Doing the songs justice, that singer (Todd?) is tremendous...
Yep, Todd Kerns (Paul Stanley) and Zach Throne (Gene Simmons) voices blend so well together, along with Brent Fitz on drums doing backup!
Todd Kerns and drummer Brent Fitz both play in Slash's band The Conspirators. Both of them are Canadian and have their own band called Toque, and Todd rose to fame in Canada with his band Age of Electric.
@SabuPtolemy the BLUE Room rocksssss!
Animalize, such an awesome album! '84 classic - bought it as a Freshman in Highschool!
This is fantastic, I wish he'd tour with this.
There is simply no better KISS experience. Absolutely fantastic! Tour this please.
This is incredible. Hope Bruce take this band and go on Tour.
In the 80's if it wasn't for Paul Stanley..Their wouldn't be a Kiss! Thanks Mike for the upload.
How is that everything Bruce plays and does with a guitar is so damn cool!?
I'm getting out my Animalize CD and loading it for work tomorrow. Ending with Thrills In The Night?...best last Kiss song I've seen.
Love it...me too then!
Thrills In the Night was always one of my favorites and such a bad ass song
You know you have a great singer when he nails down "I've Had Enough" perfectly. That song is no walk in the park.
I was a huge Kiss fan around 1984 thru 1992
Man, they sound great.
I wish these guys were touring .... just amazing. Todd on vocals is killing it
Hey Bruce,...……......Come to Europe with this band!!!!
They need to tour. Seriously. Love this!!!
aaronveegee Sadly, a tour will not work. Only the die hard fans cares about those songs.
Absolutely killer! Great job and great band. I agree with many others, Bruce should take this on the road. They would pack clubs with this. Man those two guys singing are fabulous.
I went to the Crazy Nights tour in Philadelphia, great show. I noticed that Paul said, F@## a lot.
Listening to this video being automatically picked by UA-cam for me in the backround, me running some errands. Make no mistake, Bruce Kulick is an absolute BEAST.
Great voice. Certainly does the song justice
Bruce debería girar por todos lados con esta formación, es muy muy buena, no esperaba menos del mejor guitarrista que tuvo KISS.

That's Zachary throne
Id much prefer paul come out and say "we dont play obscure material because my voice peaked in the early 90s and I no longer have the range to perform them" I dont think dignity is in the kiss vocabulary.
shinnox Agree, Bruce was far and away the best fit for KISS, and the most versatile.
In fairness to Tommy, he's tethered to Ace's riffing ability.
@S S did PETER sign a beth 45 for you to troll?
Now that's a set list worth paying money to see.
UA-cam needs a LOVE button! I would pay big money to see this line up on tour!
it is amazing how Bruce play those songs perfect, he is the man. And this gig shows how wonderful songs kiss did in the 80s
Animalize is my third favorite Kiss album. Highly underrated in my opinion.
that riff and solo in Thrills is so bad azz !! that song should of been a bigger hit for KISS
BTW - Not to diss the rest of the Band..... Those guys sound great. And the singer / rhythm guitarist..... excellent. This is good stuff.
Bruce is the best Kiss guitarrist ever
Vinnie vincent in his day is more technical...but was only a short time member.
Damn!!! This kicks ass! Always loved Bruce!!!
I saw Kiss in '86 on the Asylum tour...W.A.S.P. opened...
Portland, Oregon...friggin awesome!
Great to hear these songs live and smokin'. Great band here. Thank you for sharing this stuff.
This guys voice is incredible!
Damn! I'm going back right now. Havent heard these songs in years. Great stuff.
Todd Kerns and BK make a great team.
The fact that Todd plays bass, guitar, and has monster vocals! - What a triple threat!
kiss in the 80s had the best songs I guess
Well, KISS in the 70s actually had the best songs, but I hear where you're coming from, young person...
Outstanding!!!! I really wish KISS would have had them open on the EOTR tour.
I agree
It would have been good to see Bruce and his band open for KISS on this last tour.
That was hella good! Loved that Animalize album.
Brilliant they should bring out a live album.
I bet Paul hates Todd because he's still got the pipes. Excellent playing from Mr. Kulick!
Paul had his time dude. If this was something that would upset him they wouldn't play at the kruise year after year
Chris Clark Paul has a LOT more miles on his voice. This is a win-win for fans as they have somebody who's able to cover this material
I'm not denying that Paul used to be a terrific singer. You know how sensitive his ego is.
Hes like 20 years younger
I've been on the cruises. And Paul always heaps praise on Todd. So stop it with your bullshit narrative lol.
Just Awesome! Amazing tight band! Love these guys! I wish that they would tour!
I'm with you on that. Bruce always dismisses the idea due to schedules but this is way too good. If it's a money thing i think we should crowd fund a show!!!
Absolutely AWESOME! I love the Animalize album! Bruce shreds!👍🎶🎸🎵😎
Todd Dammit Kerns ! big fan of Toque..now i see this! Good stuff man
Bruce made me want to actually buy a Kiss cd!
This kicks so much ass...just like Animalize does.
Wow, the singer is phenomenal!!!
@SabuPtolemy I won't hold that against him. I meant "Paul," though. "Gene" sounds pretty solid, as well.
