Singularity is techno utopianism. AI mostly is too. Along with nanotechnology and fossil fuel free economy too. Sorry folks it's not going to happen. We have maxed out the cheap to extract energy resources, mineral resources, topsoil, fresh water, fish etc. It's downhill from here. All of those things might have been possible in a rich new world , but not now. Get real.
