For anyone trying to do Naboris, use Duplex bows you get from the Yiga hideout! Since they fire 2 arrows at the cost of one, you can disable each foot in a single shot rather than 2
this video literally introduced me to breath of the wild. I had no prior knowledge about it before I saw this. seeing it pop up in my recommended after getting the master bike just makes me so nostalgic.
Yeah, but there are people who already had some of these amiibo when the game dropped and/or bought them for other reasons. We had all the Zelda SSB figures, a bunch of Mario and Animal Crossing ones, including over 50 AC cards, (meat and veg from each one, mega manna from heaven!) because I spoiled my kids. So when it came time to play I just had to take them all down from the shelf. Sadly I didn't realize I had already paid for all this great content until I was well into my first run though, but they have been very handy in my new save files.
Croton’s pure joy in every video with everything he creates is the most infectious thing. Like, I’m not even playing BOTW rn I’m playing Hollow Knight and still manage to draw energy from Croton content it’s incredible. Keep on it man

I actually decided to do this challenge on Master Mode recently. Got two Eponas in a row, as well as the Hero’s Cap. A word of advice: If you want a good weapon from your amibos, leave the Great Plateau first. Otherwise the odds of it giving you one of the traveler’s series of weapons (traveler’s bow, sword, shield, etc.) are a lot higher from what I’ve found. I’d recommend trying to do the amibos once you’re at Kakariko. True, it’ll be one heck of a challenge, but you’re more likely to get good stuff. I think. Haven’t made it that far yet 😆

Interesting about the burning weapon eventually killing you during a cutscene. Seems like the same principle of firing an arrow at the first blight right before the cutscene when one appears in the sanctum, and it doing continuous damage during it.
I didn't even know amiibo cards existed until I asked for 1 amiibo for Christmas/my birthday and my Grandma just looked it up and got me a card set with most, if not all of the Zelda amiibo at that time.
You can't avoid picking up items like the Zora tunic, but I don't believe you're required to use it. You can hit the targets on Vah Ruta from Sidon's back if you arch an arrow. So you could cut down on your required items by one if you're willing to spend about five hours trying to aim while moving!
@@CrotonYeah I definitely don't blame you for not wanting to arch arrows, that would be absolutely awful! Plus I don't think wasting durability on a bow would be a good thing in this scenario since you have a limited number of amiibo scans...it's an interesting thought though!
2:18 fun fact, he got freaked out by this for nothing, as long as you leave quickly and act respectfully, the lynel will do nothing but stare at you. it wont even draw its weapon, much less use it.
@@themindeclectic9821 think it however you want, I believe that if you have good enough weapons fighting lynels are really fun to battle. Also most of the time I either avoid combat all together or I am the one to draw my weapons first with any enemy, and if I wanted to run but they hurt my horse....... N O M E R C Y

kind of want to do this challenge without shops... i did a run where i only used warrior tunic and some basic pants forget which. i had to stock up on a ton of lizards to venture in and out of death mountain. that dlc teleport thing helped a lot..
Sadly they don't "look" very good. With half of the cards it's impossible to tell which character is supposed to be depicted without memorizing them (aka nearly all Links being the same guy in different poses). But hey, at least you get the entire set for the price of one figure.

A few words to show how to kill the divine beast bosses: Water boss: shock arrow spam Fire boss:bomb ability spam Wind boss: bomb arrow spam Thunder boss: use whatever you have Final: literally everything you have
Waterblight is always the toughest when you're equipment starved. It's also why it's by far the hardest one in the DLC. You REALLY want your arrows stocked up for that fight. Stasis upgrade helps too.

Please do a yiga weapon only run! I feel like it would be the most difficult as their weapons don’t come by very much lol PS. Medoh, you don’t need a bow. You can use bombs on the canons… you’re welcome lol PPS… Plus, you can drop cheesing… save and drop, SR when nothing good comes
Im pretty sure the yiga literally only have 2 weapons (albeit cool ones). No shield, no armor, very little durability too. The Windcleaver in particular has 25 durability, not very high considering their rarity and being the only possible melee weapon. And thats not even mentioning how to get them. The high ranking officers are VERY tanky, and the duplex bow isn't strong enough, nor will it have enough ammo, to deal with em. I dont know why im writing this, im bored rn lol Edit: I just remembered the Vicious Sickle, which only appears like twice in the yiga hideout and never again. So... yeah...
@@jamclone if you leave the hideout via teleport before beating it, they all reapawn… you can easily max out weapons and replenish (with work) whenever necessary. Edit: plus the vicious sickle appears when being attacked in the open world and also from some of the travellers as well as the demon carver.
I think this is a cool idea for a run! One thing that I think would be very helpful but not to game breaking for your rules. Maybe you could trade beetles with beedle because he can give you fire resist potions and food item which isn't to powerful. I really enjoyed watching this
It's not "increased accuracy", it's *_reduced drop-off._* The arrows fly in a straight line for longer before falling downward. They're just as accurate as any other bow, they just fly farther.

There's an Amiibo category of Any% because it's slightly faster to get the stuff you need that way, but this video isn't an official speedrun category

Im pretty sure the yiga literally only have 2 weapons (albeit cool ones). No shield, no armor, very little durability too. The Windcleaver in particular has 25 durability, not very high considering their rarity and being the only possible melee weapon. And thats not even mentioning how to get them. The high ranking officers are VERY tanky, and the duplex bow isn't strong enough, nor will it have enough ammo, to deal with em.

Edit: I just remembered the Vicious Sickle, which only appears like twice in the yiga hideout and never again. So... yeah...

@@Uneke I dunno, it just feels like it'd be nohitting the game with mostly bombs and the occasional slight power spike with the yiga weapons.
@@jamclone if you leave the hideout via teleport before beating it, they all reapawn… you can easily max out weapons and replenish (with work) whenever necessary.
Edit: plus the vicious sickle appears when being attacked in the open world and also from some of the travellers as well as the demon carver.

I think this is a cool idea for a run! One thing that I think would be very helpful but not to game breaking for your rules. Maybe you could trade beetles with beedle because he can give you fire resist potions and food item which isn't to powerful. I really enjoyed watching this

It's a glitch that kills you if you have a wooden weapon out during the boss cutscenes 🤷♀️ it's stupid lol

Oh I just wanted to say (Hopefully this helped someone) All of the Rito bows have increased accuracy.
It's not "increased accuracy", it's *_reduced drop-off._*
The arrows fly in a straight line for longer before falling downward.
They're just as accurate as any other bow, they just fly farther.

@@AlizudoNo, it;s increased range before the drop-off. Only the silver and ancient bow have reduced drop off.
