Casting Mini Metal Hand Grenades From Solid Bronze - DIY Bronze Casting
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 жов 2020
- In this video I'll be casting mini metal golden hand grenades. I 3D printed the mini grenades on my Elegoo Mars Pro resin printer. I then used investment plaster to make the mold before burning out the wax. I melted down copper and tin to make bronze and poured the molten metal into the mold. Thank you all for helping me reach 100k! I hope you all enjoy this video as it was a blast to make 😉 Let me know if there’s something you’d like to see in the future as new videos are constantly in the works. I hope you all have a great day and I’ll see you soon
Make a soda can out of soda cans🙃
Make some from Star trek sir :-)
nice and cleaned up yup yup yup awesome grenades
Idea... wax tree casting method, custom aluminum board game tokens
Should be quick to make, easy to clean up, & (maybe) best of all... not require a ton of metal to create.
@@jeanmarcelcapuzzi1091 a type 2 hand phaser or (id die to see this done) a Type IV Compression Phaser Rifle
I am attempting my very first lost wax cast tonight. I hope Ive got everything ready. Marine & Army Vet here. Thanks for your service and thanks for having a great channel. Semper Fi Devil Dog!
You should make a set of poker chips. Alluminum the lowest then brass than copper for big chips that would be alot of work but so dope
Is it just me or does everyone want a “grenade tree” for their Holidays
I do
I do
Definitely not just you! 😁
I prefer the unpolished ones and they looked cool in their casted form like a tree. Would look like a cool paperweight for a desk
They're all gorgeous, but got to say I prefer the polished ones. Nice add to your collection!
I like the polished ones, but they're both something to be proud of!!
I like the unpolished grenades
Excellent pour. Like the details that your new printer produce. Polished ones look great, but I much prefer the ones that were tumbled. Thanks for posting and be safe out there. 👍👍👍
That was cool of you to let the rat go. That was a certain death sentence getting stuck in that bucket. You saved it! Thanks
I love how the stainless steel is blued by your blistering Nevada sky
I really like them. They're too stinkin' cute!!!
Those are awesome !!! I like the unpolished ones😁
I'm gonna go out on a limb & say I prefer the unpolished bronze mini grenades.
Sure, the polished ones may be shiny and pretty, but unpolished has a kind of gritty... authentic military equipment, aesthetic quality that I really like.
Congrats on 100k man! 🎉
Gahhhh i love tiny things, these look so cute!
Interesting contrast between the polished and unpolished ones. Hard to pick a winner!
You know you made it big, when devil forge sends you a custom forge with ure name, lol.
Right on dude!
I exploded with joy about the way the Grenades turned out! they did turn out great mate! as always keep up the good work and see next week for another video.
Love the polished ones
That casting gives a new meaning to "Fire In The Hole" Very enjoyable. Former combat engineer.
As for ideas. What about a belt that resembles a bulldozer tread.
Unpolished- if I HAVE to decide. This was one of my favorite videos of yours!! Thank you!!👊
Absolutely stunning! Nice job!
Nice vacuum caster, good idea to put the whole flask down inside the chamber.
I prefer.....Both. You rightly deserve passing the 100K milestone. You're a very skilled craftsman and I've enjoyed watching you develop
Thank you 🙏
Turned out nice. I liked both versions.
Love them all but got to say the polished one look the greatest
Nice work I wouldnt have been so nice to that visitor!
Haha yeah I would have felt bad watching him drown
I like the unpolished, they are all awesome!
Which one do I prefer? Both. But I'd have to go with the polished one.
Both unpolished and polished. Very nice
Very nice. I really do like them
Both unpolished & polished look good 👍👍
Make a checkers set ! Pineapple /potatoe grenades. Make metal distressed board . Lol cool stuff
Really nice video this week.
This video was a real bomb. LOL The polished ones look great but i think the unpolished ones look more authentic. I'm glad you found that little critter when you did. He would surely have drowned. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing video as always bro!
I like the shiny ones!
Great vacuum casting setup, Those investment castings are always so good. Very nice work on the grenades. 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🐺 Congrats on busting that 100K subs count wide open, well Deserved.
Another excellent video. Thanks for the melt time at 4:42. Never trust a rat!
SWEET!!
Been checking every few minutes for this
Those are so awsome!
Thank you 🙏
Tumbled ones. Look almost real - BOOM. Stay safe
Lovem both!
They look fantastic, Would love to see a video on your vacuum you use for casting.

How much for one? Should be priceless based on the time you put in.
Nice new forge
Very nice..... thanks man!!!! N. Texas here....
very good video..... nice models of granedes
congrats bro for 100k
so happy for you ❤️
I love them. I like the polished ones but I’d take anyone of them. Thank you for another great video.
They are awesome dude. Any woman would love them as ear rings for christmas!😂
Those look so cool, I really like the polished ones! Great job watch you next week. Now on to see what Mr Big is melting. Lol.
The polished ones would make great earrings or pendants if you center drilled them and soldered a loop on top of the spoon.😁
It is a hard decision as to which i like. I like both for different reasons.
Aww so nice
I like the in polished
Brilliant as expected bruv that tumbler really makes the difference with the finer pieces you've done as of late. Preference, both, polished for a desktop or somewhere to be seen and tumbled for like a key ring, braclet etc Thx again Bruv Sainté
Great video sir!!
Greetings from Brazil!!!
on thing i think would be cool is to have those mini grenades installed onto some brass knuckles lmao and polished of course
Yeah, I like the polished ones better too. Have you ever done a video on the lost wax casting?
unpolished is my favorite. nice bermuda grass
Unpolished is my fav.
its all fun and games until the safety pins get broken off yet they still go off somehow lol
Great little grenades. I prefer the polished. Lot's of work though.
You should totally make a pendant out of one of those grenades.
Fresh pineapples from the aloha snack bar 👍🏻
congrats for 100k bro 👍
Fire in the hole and congrats on the 100k subs
They turned out awesome but I like the polished one's better👍
I like this grenades polished,,hehhe
Ohhhhhh! I'll take 20 please!
Yeah! I'm early! Love your work, especially swords and knives.
Semper fi!
Look AWESOME polished or not!
Congrats on 100,000 subs
Thank you 🙏
ArtByAdrock ps I like the unpolished ones they both looked great thou
The unpolished ones look a lot better in my opinion, I just like that almost matte look to them for some reason. Great video bud!
Look in good, especially liked the jump you did at the end. Lol
We have problems here with field mice, about a third the size of your ratzilla. Be careful and thanks.
Awesome! I like the polished ones!! Sell a couple of those to me 😋
I like the more rustic ones better
Nice bro👌
I wish I had this skill. I could make my own Warhammer characters =)
My teenager would go nuts over those! He loves anything military-related LOL
would love if you did a video on ur vacuum casting set up my other job I work with those vac chambers and have been thinking about cutting a hole in a lid and then saw it in ur video it's cool to see someone with same idea and seems to work good
Craftsman!!
The unpolished looks like they are aged. That to me is cool. Nice👍
Those turned out great, amazing detail!! I like both finishes, but the biker in me has to go with the polished one, lol.
the polished looks much better
It's a brisk 91 degrees in sunny Las Vegas! LOL
Sweet lil pinecones buddy!
They came out awesome!
You might be getting good at this!
Very cool that you can make things that small.
There might be another load of silver coming your way!
Thanx for a great vid Adam! :D
Thanks buddy! That would be awesome! 👍🏻🍻🍻🍻
Order #1041. I just received my order in today's mail. As soon as my shoulder heals, I'll be pumping out the coins for Christmas gifts. Thank you.
Great video, what oven do you use to burn out the wax?
The grenades look great. You should turn some into key chains.
Those are some nice pieces but, I prefer the polished ones.
I really was waiting for the blob on your shaker to go all Alien blood on you and go all the way to the concrete! good thing it didn't ! very cool I don't have a favorite both "styles" are cool.
Both are nice I like unpolished
Nice editing job! And a great setup you've made there.
I am starting to inject wax for multiples like that grenade. Do you like using wax resins better?
Have you tried the new stuff from Siraya tech (just came out and might be sold out at the moment).
While both are wonderful, I prefer the unpolished just slightly. Not to say I don't love the polished ones, they're awesome.
Are you using a resin for casting or just normal resin ?
As it looks like it’s leaving ash behind and screwing up your pours
