Casting Mini Metal Hand Grenades From Solid Bronze - DIY Bronze Casting

  • In this video I'll be casting mini metal golden hand grenades. I 3D printed the mini grenades on my Elegoo Mars Pro resin printer. I then used investment plaster to make the mold before burning out the wax. I melted down copper and tin to make bronze and poured the molten metal into the mold. Idea... wax tree casting method, custom aluminum board game tokens
Should be quick to make, easy to clean up, & (maybe) best of all... not require a ton of metal to create.

You should make a set of poker chips. Alluminum the lowest then brass than copper for big chips that would be alot of work but so dope

I'm gonna go out on a limb & say I prefer the unpolished bronze mini grenades.
Sure, the polished ones may be shiny and pretty, but unpolished has a kind of gritty... authentic military equipment, aesthetic quality that I really like.

Are you using a resin for casting or just normal resin ?
As it looks like it’s leaving ash behind and screwing up your pours
