Just did your Tie Fighter video, was very good and i learned things like typing the numbers into the keypad and using alt to select more edges easier. I liked how you showed the detail was possible but didn't go to great lengths to do the detail like with a sped up montage, left it it creative for our imaginations. I spent some extra time making it cool because of that. I would love to do more scifi models like tanks, motorcycles, vending machines, street lamps, simple furniture, computer equipment, superhero inspired models, Black Ops 6 inspired models, etc. The video was easy to follow as the keys on the screen are very helpful if i need to replay a section 3 or 4 times.
Nice lego man 😊 Two tips: when you created the loop cut for the foot, you don't have to make it curved and then scale to 0 on Z. While you are still sliding the cut, you can hit E to force it to to match the shape of the adjacent edge. If it then matches the curved one at the top, hit F to flip it to match the straight one at the bottom. Here of course you can easily get away with scaling on Z, but when doing loop cuts which are off from all axes this comes in handy. The other tip is, you don't always have to abort moving with Esc after hitting E to Extrude, for example when you deleted the ngon on the hip cylinder and closed it with extrude. After you hit E, you can immediately hit S to switch to scaling mode (or R if you wanted to rotate), no need to hit Esc first. By the way, when aborting an operation like extruding or loop cuts, I usually right-click instead of using the Esc key, I find it more convenient since I'm clicking on the mesh anyway 😂

Love your comments Gordon, I always learn something new! Thanks for the tips!
Cool stuff as usual.
