If a verse is explicit, and another is not explicit, and they are both what you claim Jesus said for example, you would have to find the meaning behind both, not ignoring 1 or the other, but also not using what someone other than Jesus said, or what people think he said. There is another issue if 1 verse shows he is God, and another verse shows he isn't. The person you replied to just gave you an evidence from the bible itself of Jesus himself saying worship God alone, yet there have been many Christians calling out to Jesus instead of God. And using John 17:3 as presumably the words of Jesus himself too, Jesus separates himself from God as he separates himself from the Father, calling the Father the only True God.
Honestly there is no real reason to debate over the bible as it has been proven to have been changed, throughout multiple denominations, multiple versions, and most importantly throughout the oldest manuscripts themselves, which do not lead back to Jesus or even the disciples. Excluding that there are internal and external contradictions even when not mentioning preservation, these important issues are completely ignored by the average Christian which is the root of the issue. Even Cliff for example who is a Christian speaker on youtube you may have seen, has admitted that he cannot prove the bible is the word of God, yet many Christians happen to claim that it is, but when you ask them why, they quote from it without having proven anything. These are far more important issues rather than debating over the verses' meanings.
When they see you’re a Christian they look at you like they are above you. You can see where their heart is by seeing how they look at you.

This is actually not correct. Jesus was not the only sinless prophet. Muhammad also was as well. Jesus' birth was a miracle but that's just one of God's miracles and his birth or creation was not even the most amazing. Being BORN alone proves he's not God. They did not try to crucify him for no reason and he was not raised for no reason. Everything God plans and legislates has a reason.

Yes. Muhammad did not bring the Quran. Gabriel brought the Quran to him from God. What could go wrong is what happened to the Bible of it being written by anonymous men writing their own ideas mixed in with some truth, having changed over time, corrupted, with false and contradictory parts. Nothing in the Quran has been proven false. It's not possible the Quran is from anyone but God. The Quran along with the Sunnah are a complete way of living and governance, that can run whole societies, that only could come from God.
He could never even cite anything from the Old or New Testaments showing that he would come.

They say Jesus never said I am God, but did Jesus ever say I am not God?
If I come to you as a human, do I need to announce I am a human?

@@sandras.9312 How so when Biblical scholars, Christian scholars, Biblical commentaries and history say otherwise? All the parts of the Bible are not historically accurate. Some parts have been proven to be false. Most parts can't be authenticated as true since its authorship has been lost to history. So you can't just READ the Bible, you actually have to study it and history. They do not align. Not even all the manuscripts agree with each other. Some places Jesus is a prophet, prophesized as such, held as such, making clear he was such and this is what James and the disciples believed (who, none btw wrote the gospels). How did people who never met Jesus know more about Jesus than the disciples? How did Christians hundreds of years later know better about Jesus than the eyewitnesses to his life?
The gospels only reflect some of the ideas and thoughts of people about Jesus and many years after him. It does not contain all the gospels that exist and the people who wrote them, never met Jesus nor have any proven connection between them and anyone that did. Do you know which Gospel has the highest Christology of Jesus? In which one only he says he is God and what Biblical scholars all believe about that gospel? It's not authentic or historically accurate. It's an embellishment. This is why non-Christians can be so adamant when they ask for proof Jesus said he was God. There's literally none and this is something even committed Christian scholars admit. This is why Christianity is based on faith; there is no actual evidence to support modern Christian doctrine, after the third century, as being true (from Jesus or God).
Out of seven authors and sources, only one records Jesus saying he's God and the last one with mysterious origins believed to be written by a man who not only was known to lie and invent stories like of other people rising from the dead, but also said Jesus did not die like the gospels said! Please do not make assumptions about what people know and don't know based on what you know or don't know. I encourage you to actually study the Bible. There's a reason it's those that do that leave Christianity most often.

Just because someone wrote it, doesn't make it true and unfortunately, the authorship of those verses have been lost to history. They're impossible to verify as true at this point but we still have their writings and, as you may know, the Bible is a very scrutinized book, as many Christians like to boast, the most scrutinized, and for good reason. It is a book with many anonymous writings, many mistakes, contradictions, two testaments that don't agree, many parts proven false and un-historic so it can be hard just by reading it alone to know what is true or not.
In studying the book, in listening to Biblical scholars or reading their books, in Biblical commentaries, in studying history, etc you can learn that those authors were inventing stories in many places like Matthew writing Jesus into prophecies that didn't exist to try to end Jewish skepticism of Jesus. John being a whole gospel scholars don't consider historically accurate but instead an embellishment; a literary developed product that if we line up with the other gospels in chronological order, does not make sense. Why does the last gospel have Jesus speaking in ways no one else recorded?
All Bible scholars (even the most conservative Christians admit we only have the “voice” (ipsissima vox) of Jesus but not the actual, specific words (ipsissima verba). What they also know is we do not know the people writing those verses, it is not even known that they believed in Jesus and followed him, it is known they were not familiar with the places they were writing about and they were embellishing in parts. There is no need to take my word for it though; these are all established facts about the Bible that none can get around which is part of the struggle now and has always been which is why the belief that Jesus is God is a belief based on faith only as there is no actual evidence of him ever saying he was God.
James D.G. Dunn, Emeritus Professor of Divinity in the Department of Theology at University of Durham, Minister of the Church of Scotland and Methodist preacher says "But if we are to submit our speculations to the text and build our theology only with the bricks provided by careful exegesis we cannot say with any confidence that Jesus knew himself to be divine, the pre-existent Son of God." (Christology in the Making: An Inquiry into the Origins of the Doctrine of the Incarnation)
I have many notes from books, studying history, listening to scholars, even Christian ones who all say the Bible is corrupted, the words were changed, embellished, there's no evidence of who those writers were, Paul was established to be untrustworthy, those who believed in Jesus as a prophet and messiah predates those who worshipped him as God by hundreds of years, the disciples did not know Jesus to be God, etc, etc. I welcome ANY evidence that proves otherwise. Sadly, those verses alone don't do it. If you're actually interested in the truth and actually following Jesus as he himself taught, I urge you to look into it. There's a very good reason this channel exists and people are working so hard against Islam and a very good reason many Christians, especially theology students and clergy are leaving Christianity. They are learning the truth and how what is in the Bible does not reflect accurately, completely what Jesus taught and believed.

@@_Adee_ Unfortunately, this is what many people think and assume because they haven't actually read/studied the Bible or Islam to know how he fulfills the prophecies in the Bible and they don't know history to know the Jews, the Tribe of Levi in particular went to Madinah looking for this prophet based on their scripture or about the Jews and Christians during that time, familiar with the previous revelations as well, confirmed he was in fact in their scripture and a prophet of God. But most Christians don't even know their own history and how the disciples and first Christians didn't worship Jesus or consider him God for the first three centuries; so not sure why they'd know any of that.
It's a pretty serious subject and it would be nice if people entered into conversations in good faith and with actual arguments, but I understand why people must suffice with catchy rhymes instead.
