i'd love to see Big K.R.I.T in that seat. Dope artist and highly underrated. Would love to hear him talk southern hip hop with Math and Mecca.
Big Ass FACTS. I came across children of the world on mtv jams channel not long after I found Freddie Gibbs track “What It Be Like” on Shade45 than had a homie introduce me to Nipsey Hussle all within a very short period of time and way before they were on XXLs freshman cover together and I’ve been happy AF to see both Gibbs and Nip FINALLY get their recognition damn near ten years after that XXL cover. It seems from the recent interviews I’ve saw K.R.I.T do it seems he is following Curren$ys path and doesn’t give two fuccs about the mainstream and getting his records on the radio nationwide and has became content with the fan base he has and continues to make fire music and tour the country but he is a very talented musician that writes him bars and produces a lot of his beats so he needs to be recognized. Nore has been dropping the ball lately with who he has choose to put on his platform. 2010 was one of the last great yrs for dope ass hip hop artists
K.R.I.T be so underrated...his flows and lyrics are hella fyah
I’m mad they left him out that control conversation
@@HustleDiffrnt that is exactly why I thought of him. He is mentioned in that verse and his Mt. Olympus response was dope!
I was saying math and the panel didn’t mention him
Glad to see daylyt on the platform. The best in battle rap, can’t no rapper fw bro. Giving him his flowers now 🔥
Daylyt transcends god tier
💐
🥩🚴♂️
Ab-Soul battled Daylyt and went lyrically bar for bar with him. King Los too🔥
😂🤦🏿♂️stop glazing like a 304
Punch just seems like a beautiful soul. He seems like he would be the best dad.
This show feels like I’m on the block listening to the older generation, just soaking up game. Bronx stand up !!

Yo Math this is THE Hip Hop podcast bro. Always always blows me away the insight and info you get from your guest. Salute from Louisiana my guy y'all Killin it
PPP pp m
You know Hynaken must’ve been goin through it he was quiet for almost 2 hours wishing him nothing but positive energy
Word he be on the preemptive with the questions.
This is the comment I was looking for before I posted a comment. I’m with you bro! Hynaken usually be turning up and be fully involved. This was still a great episode but I’m missing my guy hynaken frfr.
Which one is that? What does he do?
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
What happened to him he was mad quiet
Daylyt a legend and he ain’t even blow up yet in the rap game. It’s still the genesis of his come up and he’s already done so much. I can’t wait to see what this mans gonna do now that he is with TDE
he might get bigger still but hes not gonna "blow up" like hes pretty will into his career, far from new
Shout out to Math for getting ALL THESE BIG INTERVIEWS and not changing the intro and displaying battle rappers
check out his "legends only" playlist *fire emoji (my laptop shortcuts trippin smh)
bro I fkn hate the intro song so much lol
hes just so much better than those weak ass lines but I never thought about it the way you said it's lyk hes a battle rapper
Punch always coming with crazy bars the song with Schoolboy Q "feelin myself" is a classic
Learn dat, Punch can RAP rap. Like one of the most underrated in the world right now. Daylyt's pen is elite too, if you check out his albums he's spitting spitting, flows and entendres aplenty.
He went in on untitled 5
Yeah but if they was serious 🧐 they’d already put out a Cambatta collab or signed him the EP Lux did with him was most slept on 2021 project because it dropped 1st quarter. Lyt knows wassup & if he never put Punch on it’s for a reason. Batta will tap circles around the top tier MC/Lyricist🤨
@@INeverKnewYou158 Cambattas career is Cambattas responsibility. And Daylyt and Cambatta have a mixtape together coming. Now having said that please get off his nutsack, that was disgusting 😂🤣
@julio santos know what he talking abt #eLite status
Punch out ya day job this ain’t no daddy daycare chump
I personally like punch- depends on tha fruit
I see Daylyt, I click. Salute to Math for creating classic episodes and raising his value 🙌🏽
Man, Punch really the most laid back str8 forward dude in this music thing. The way he laughed when Math asked him if he raps lets you know how he gets busy as an emcee. This was a 🔥 interview. Salute Mark Robman in the cut!
WELL!!!
🍷
Watching this interview made me realize how important building relationships in the industry is. I love how everybody had a connection in helping each other becoming successful.
Thats how life works. All facets of it 💯
I agree bro! Hip hop is circling back to its roots!
Been watching the podcast from episode 1 it’s crazy how much everything has evolved from the guests to the conversations big up from 🇬🇧
Love seeing the whole world involved! As it should be 🙏💪🏻💙
I’m surprised on how quiet day is but this interview is really dope with so much genuine care and gems
Punch, Daylyt, AND Rob Markman in the cut? This episode gon be GOATED.
Rockness is the biggest legend in that room my child, how dare you dismiss him
@@upclosenpersonal100 child? Lmaooo
@@hiphopbreaux8156 He right tho how you gonna forget Rock and got HipHop in your name?
dope as fuhh y'all got Punch on here. this really is the realest hip hop interviews based on variety & caliber of guests
It takes a lot to build a brand that you can trust. I dn't care what TDE is dropping if its dropping I'm picking it up because I rarely get a bad project out of these guys.
really been a fan of TDE since the beginning, I was into every second of this. thanks Math cause wow. favorite episode🙏🏾
This Podcast is it! Support from New Zealand Math! Shout out Day & Punch
Wow Hoffa killing shit he got punch from TDE
TDE owners don't never do Interviews so this is dope
Word imagine Top Dawg on this
I wish they asked about Jay Rock responding to meek on the TDE cyper. I remember Meek calling Kendrick a packet rapper on the forgot about dre remix after the control verse dropped and JR saying "I ain't no backpack rapper I ain't no Lyricist and if we ain't talking to you then mind your business then" that bar had to be directed at Meek Mill but know one ever talks about that
ahhh never knew that
@@darkskinwhite lol Yeah mad ninjas was mad bout that control verse
@@romelegend2334 that I do remember lol good times
Control was needed, it'll forever be remembered as an important time Hip Hop, I remember waiting for responses everyday.
As a middle-class white man, I really appreciate how Rock articulated things when it came to how he felt when dealing with his music and folks who have been through similar things and could actually relate versus "the lawyers" who simply knew numbers. The way he explained that was truly from the heart and painted a picture that I really hadn't given any serious thought about. I mean, you here about the execs, lawyers, and number crunchers, but the way he explained the real life experience was truly eye opening. Well done Sir!
Punch sounds like he has a beautiful soul and a great head on his shoulders. Such a rare combination.👊🏽
Wait till math hears how great Punch is at rapping
I waited ALL week to watch the whole conversation... Hype af for the gems and hints I can use to elevate... Shout out to everyone who did the same ... 💯🔥🔥🔥
Very good conversation, one of the best interviews so far. Keep ya head up Hynaken
This channel is very very informative!! Y'all all give good advice on the industry and it feels like we just hanging out with y'all 😎💪🌌🙌💯💯
Just imagine if A$AP Yam$ wouldn’t have passed how much BIGGER Rocky & The Mob would’ve been. They definitely had it on lock while he was here but once he passed the creative direction of the music definitely wasn’t the same.
Facts
That’s a fact. & Yam$ was fuccin with, & in tune with niggas on both coasts. Hella dudes that are buzzin and big out west right now, Yams was rocking with way back then. He was building an empire
Yeah Yams was the guru and started it before Rocky was ever around
@@flyghtmyleage6041 facts
I mean..how though? I mean at least with rocky... Baby with Rhianna... Modeling... Music slapping world wide...I think he made a great sacrifice..oops, I mean rest in peace yamz
Big ups to Math Hoffa nothing but respect over here keep it up bro
Seeing the clear mentally differences between west and east coast foos is crazy
Yo Daylyt fire 🔥 I love this show bro
If y'all ever get KRS-One on the show it's gonna have to be 3, 3 hour episodes. Still might not be long enough.
I'll watch the whole thing twice!
just the whole day
Fa real
It crazy to hear this in mist of what is going on.
I'm from LA and I will never forget Grafh selling me his mixtape back in the day when I was going to get a haircut. I respected the fact a NY nigga was physically in LA selling his shit hand to hand then I went home and played one of the dopest joints I've ever heard and became a fan RIGHT THEN. I've always wondered why artist like him and Jadakiss just never blew up bigger. "As God as my whitness....I keep some shooters with me. They bang they bang they bang....They'll leave ya guts all over"
Daylyt is fr Mysterio tho, plays with illusions and shit, mastered the art of trolling (and rhyming!)
Stay working! Love this interview.
Appreciate good authentic content math.....
Another dope one! Keep it moving, Math 🤘
Good shit Hoffa These drops are timely lol
Might be time for a TDE documentary 🔥
Keep ya head up whatever you going through Hynaken. Another consistently dope episode as always 💯
So many 💎 dropped in this can be a script of a movie
Big K.R.I.T had the best response to the Control verse. Mt. Olympus was ill. Now they wanna hear a country nigga rap
HOFFA!!! Salute to my brother 🙏🏾 💯
This was fire math keep it up .. salute 🫡 from Cali

It was good hearing from Punch TDE.🖤🙏🏽🎶🙏🏽🖤
Lol, like they forgot Punch was there. Glad to see him on, but they could've engaged more.
This was literally the only episode I wanted to see

Great Interview, 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Let's go Day!!
One of the greatest battle rappers in my opinion.
Dope interview and for the record mase cleared that up wit proof. Videos and all
Only my third episode and it seems that Daylyt not having a drink subconsciously made everyone else put theirs down...
Different...

KRIT had the best Control response with Mt.Olympus
This is high-key a hip-hop history channel 🔥🔥🔥
He’s absolutely right Joe Budden did start that whole lane
Punch says, “Budden, I think it might have been Budden?” The whole room reacts like what? Love this podcast! Also nondirespect to Budden! One of my favorites period! Rap and podding!
Fav episode!

Rt
All of Math Hoffas interviews are the best at this point kuz this nigga actually ask a question and waits for the WHOLE response and has the next question ready to go no interruptions not bullshit I fucks with this shit heavy
We need a Daylyt interview alone
Who would’ve know we would get some Marvel Cinematic Universe talk this episode man this podcast is just fire yo keep doing your thing Math.
I feel like the movie/TV industry should make a Hip Hop Cinematic Universe or TV shows just like the MCU, but Hip Hop related where they make biopics or a series on rappers lives in the HHCU and the movies or TV shows connect in a way like 2pac, Death Row, a new and much better Biggie movie and I heard that Snoop is even doing his own movie, I wanna see a Dr. Dre movie that takes place after he left Death Row and built Aftermath and he ended up signing 50 Cent, Eminem, The Game & much later Kendrick since the whole Straight Outta Compton/NWA movie exists, but even that movie wasn't all the way accurate because you can only fit so much to a 2 hr movie. I wouldn't mind seeing a series on NWA and the whole Dre & Eazy beef be brought to the screen.
the whole slab!
38:38 I have to make sure I have my headphones on and a blunt ready for this part…
Love this Pod. For the longest time, i felt like Daylyt was a really deep lyrical miracle, especially seeing him on Vlad and other platforms. But then i was turned off by all the antics. After watching this pod, i gained a whole new respect for him and it was very refreshing seeing flowers being passed and him speaking his truths. Best hip-hop pod. Don't let the industry corrupt what yall got going on here! Love and Respect! Also, i love it when yall have an OG on the panel to chime in. regardless of what they say, it gives perspective. Sometimes, it feels like i'm getting wisdom from my elders who i never was able to speak with at this stage in my life... Transitioning from "the moment, to acting like i'm building a legacy."
Edit: and now i'm hearing all the co-hosts are beefing. When the family feuds, we all lose.
