हमारे देश में स्त्रियों में थाइरोइड की बीमारी देखि जाती है। पुरुषोंमें भी यह बीमारी पाई जाती है। और गले के पास बड़ी सी गठान आ जाती है। क्योकि आजकल हम iodised नमक का इस्तमाल किया जाता है इसलिए यह problem काफी कम हो रही है। फिर भी बोहोत सारे लोगो में thyroid की समस्या होती है।
थाइरोइड की समस्या जो सबने सुनी है वो है Goitre | थाइरोइड में दो तरीकेकी गांठे होती है benign और cancerous |
Thyroid की ग्रंथि यह एक endocrine ग्रंथि है जो हमारे दैनंदिन कामो में मदत करती है। थाइरोइड के इस हॉर्मोन को thyroxin कहा जाता है। यह thyroxin सही मात्रा में शरीर में होना काफी जरुरी है। जब किसी भी कारण जब thyroxin की मात्रा शरीर में कम हो जाती है तो उसका संदेश हमारे दिमाग के पास चला जाता है। ब्रेन में hypothalamus gland , pitutary gland को संदेश भेजता है। Pitutary gland thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH ) बनाती है और यह goitre और कैंसर के लिए जिम्मेदार होती है।
TSH , थाइरोइड के ग्रंथि को stimulus करता है ज्यादा हॉर्मोन बनाने केलिए। जब यह हॉर्मोन हद से ज्यादा बनने लगता है तब थाइरोइड ग्रंथि में गाँठ बनना शुरू हो जाती है।
जब गोइटर बनने की प्रक्रिया में जब cell defectives होते है और जब defective cell की संख्या जब thyroid में बढ़ जाती है तो वह थाइरोइड का कैंसर बन जाता है।
थाइरोइड कैंसर में यह प्रकार होते है :
-Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC)
-Follicular thyroid carcinoma (FTC)
तो TSH ज्यादा ना हो उसकेलिए क्या करना चाहिए ?
- जब thyroxin hormone शरीर में कम हो जाता है तो उसे hypothyroidism कहा जाता है। इसमें पेशेंट्स को thyroxin हॉर्मोन की गोलियों के सेवन से यह हॉर्मोन नॉर्मल स्तर पे ला सकते है।
