Normally LED turn signals in conjunction with standard flasher relays results in a very fast flash, to my knowledge the resistor is there to prevent that fast flash but since the LED is wired in parallel with the factory incandescent it's actually going to lead to a slow flash.
Isaac Karjala rizoma has resistors that don't slow the speed of the turn signal. I have changed the stock turn signals to LEDs and with resistors, still normal flash rate.
Hi thanks for the video. It’s very informative. Can you list the part numbers for the adapters. Also since you are adding two more lights to the system does it affect the flashing rate?

I got a Hypermotard 821 and also those turn signals inside. Just bought the reverse retro but can’t put it on because I need an adapter. Is it also the bsfr002 for the Hypermotard?

do these signal to the rear as well? I see the clear plastic lens goes from front to back, making me think this flashes somewhat rearward as well?
Did you have to use the adapter bsfr002 to be able to fit the mirrors or could you do it without?
Mathías Eliasson yes I needed the adaptor to be able to use the mirrors and bar end turn signals together.

I just bought these for my KTM RC8R, there is no room on my little handlebars to drill a hole!
Duncan Wigley - I’ve just discovered this beautiful solution myself, and am thinking I might have the same challenge with the left handlebar of my Aprilia RSV4. Maybe I pull the grip down a couple of inches and drill there? 🤔
