I’m from the UK. Seeing this guy at the London 02 was such an unforgettable experience! Watched and listened to his stuff for years. Me and my cousin both listened to him whenever we went snowboarding each year. We loved him! When he announced a show in London we HAD to get tickets. We live in North of England, so seeing him in London meant we needed to book the day off work to travel down, see his show and get the last train home around 11:30pm. The atmosphere in the arena was like nothing else I’d experienced. Everyone let’s go. Everyone rages. You get consumed in it. It’s wild! Anyway, he was late coming on stage due to higher anti-terrorism checks (not Travis’ fault of course) so it meant the show ran on later than planned. We knew we had to leave for the last train but there was no way we were leaving that show before it ended. It was the time of our lives! Needless to say, we’d missed the train and we’d also ran out of money. Phone batteries died 5 hours before. So we slept rough with the homeless outside Kings Cross all night. I walked over London Bridge at 2am on my own due to boredom/frustration at lack of sleep on the cold concrete with only shorts and a T-shirt on. I missed work the next day as a result. And do you know what? I wouldn’t have changed a thing. His concerts really are rock and roll 🎸 😂👍🏻 🤘🏻😝🤘🏻 I’ve been to many live shows. This will be the one I never forget.
