Um, Monstro's lung is a shotgun even at it's base. That combined with Fire Mind(I think. It makes your tears light on fire and they have a chance to explode.) will result in a decent shotgun build in my opinion.
I know this is a little simple for synergy lab, but there's an item in antibirth called damocles. It's fun. A synergy that works well is monstros lung, greeds gullet, a dollar, godhead, and the I forget the name, but it's in antibirth and it gives you a godhead aura around isaac, which is so powerful it could probably win a run with zero tears

Power: 10/10 (vaporizing bosses) Visual: 10/10 (Fucking gorgeous) Survivability: 9/10 (Synergy is not harmful to isaac, but it can be distracting and cause you to take dumb damage from simply not seeing an enemy.) Realism: Highly unlikely to occur in an actual seeded run. would require immense amount of luck to get all of the items needed. General feeling: This was a gorgeous synergy. I honestly don't think I have seen a synergy destroy the Hush, like this synergy did. It melted literally the tankiest boss in the game. I suggest that the next Synergy lab should focus on good old fashioned explosive synergies.

I think i would ad poly instead of fully piercing tears, because then they wouldnt fully stop to a measly fly. And would still stop at bosses with alot of health.
If you didn't have polyphemus the tears which come back every time you hit the walls woulkdn't decrease in size, meaning tears would be practicly infinite.

I thought of a new version of synergy lab. DIY Synergy lab every floor you must use the d6 and reroll the starting room and using only 4 items from that room each floor you must make a usable synergy to defeat mega Satan.
i got something similar to this in a run the other day, i got soy milk, piercing shot continium, libra and dead eye, then found tractor beam in the chest it was cool dead eye and libra with piercing shot is amazing by itself
i stand by having "fun" as a category because max size/power tears is powerful but not too fun afterwhile but something like the butterfly boss attack synergy or the bouncing tears synergy is super fun

Actually Rage, Holy Light is not effected by luck at all. It's always a 25% chance. 1 for every 4 tears or so.
