Started Scythe recently and have been bingewatching your content :) Since im from Europe i sadly can not join the streams :( But i have a rule questions i could not quite figure out frome the board game manual. Do building bonuses also apply if i build ON the spot in question? Eg. if i build on the encounter do i still get the bonus? Thx for the content man. I would gladly watch more parts of your streams ;)
Thanks for watching. If the bonus is “adjacent to encounters,” then you only get the bonus for each unique encounter you build next to. The same thing with adjacent to mines. There is a build bonus for building on mines as well though.
If the drawing has an arrow pointing into the territory, then it's a "buildings ON territory" bonus. If there is no arrow and the two are just next to each other, it's a "buildings ADJACENT TO territory" bonus. It can never be both. The only instance I can recall when there is an arrow indicating something else is the "buildings in a line" bonus: in that case, the arrow is straight, indicating only a straight line counts for the bonus
