- Want color all season? Join David at Overdevest Nurseries and hear ALL about this AMAZING Stonecrop. This HARDY succulent plant has dark purple foliage with a pink edge. It is very drought tolerant and loves the sun. It is a low growing plant and looks fantastic as edging or along the front of well-drained garden beds and borders. It also looks great in patio containers - it is so COLORFUL it almost looks too good to be true - but it is!

And, they are incredibly easy to grow and look after too. Just give them a well drained spot with plenty of sunshine..... Then, stand back and admire.

Can I bring indoors in the winter
Yes, we grow them in our greenhouses, but you will need a really well-lighted spot and be careful with watering (not too wet).

That's because it doesn't need much care and attention. If you listen again (around the 2 minutes mark) you'll hear me talk about how it requires very little care. Just make sure its got a sunny, well drained spot and except for keeping an eye out for any reversion (shoots without the variegation) which incidentally doesn't happen that much, there isn't much else that you need to be concerned with. If you have it planted in a rock or scree garden or set amongst ornamental gravel you could dribble a fresh layer of gravel around and even amongst any shoots that have spaces, but other than that.... This is all it needs!
