- Enya being interviewed on the Irish chat show, The Late Late Show. It has been quite some years since Enya last gave an interview in RTÉ's Studio 4. She is one of the biggest selling female artists in history. At 70 million albums and counting, she is bigger worldwide than Madonna. Yet, for most of the time, she lives a quite life in Dublin. Originally from Gweedore in County Donegal, Enya spoke to Pat Kenny about her new album 'Amarantine', life in and out of the spotlight, stalkers and a whole lot more besides.

She looks good for 50 years old. I think it all comes down to how you feel in the inside. You can tell shes at peace with her self , enjoying life day by day. That's why he voice and how she looks is so radiant. I feel honored listening to her music.
This woman's music will last for generations. They're just timeless and no body can ever compete with that. No matter what race, color, or gender they appeal to all. Amazing and enchanted!!
Has anyone noticed that her normal voice is just as lyrical was when she was singing?

I love the Loxian language. It's beautiful and makes so much sense. The "see umbrai-aya" line is my favorite line from "Water Shows the Hidden Heart". I'm so glad she mentioned "The River Sings" It's one of my all time favorite song.
Enya is such a beautifull and warm woman, her music is the most amazing thing ever! Every song makes me cry of joy! WOW!!!

Enya has inspired me in so many ways. When I first heard Memory of Trees, I was stunned and speechless. It was if my whole life has changed. That was years ago, and I'm afraid it will never be the same. Enya's music is something that helped bring me through the darkest and roughest points in my life. Although I sometimes stray from her, I can never leave her. She is my all-time favorite artist. There is no one who can compare to her. Bless you Enya!

Just because most celebs/artists appear in the mags falling out of cabs or having affairs doesn't mean a fantastic artist who enjoys her private life out of the limelight is a recluse. Enya as a person and her music really is an inspiration, I adore her each and every album

My understanding of this is that when people are desperate in their lives, unhealthy in their minds, and can't find a meaning or a purpose to their own existence, when they get exposed to such a shining beacon of light and consciousness, and that is Enya, an obsession can form in which they think being close to her will be the answer to put an end to their pain. In the very list of comments left for this specific UA-cam video, you can scroll and look for comments left by a "Steven Griffin", and you'll see that this problem is very real unfortunately...
I used to listen to enya back in 02. the music is in my heart so much I listen to it in 2014 again... the heart is such a secure vault of what is therapeutic...

Enya is just so so amazing - Her music is just hauntingly beautiful in a peaceful, mysterious way and the way she is also, her whole personality is calming and peaceful; And the fact she lives in a castle is just, just perfect for her. I would love to meet Enya - she is amazing :-)
Obviously it's impossible to know without ever meeting her but she just seems like she'd be such a nice person in real life. Like, she seems very sweet and genuine and just not into all the traditional trappings of stardom but just someone who enjoys making her art.

Her voice is so calming and feel comforting. She seems to be a very awesome and kind person. I don't like where the interviewer asks her about being "recluse". Just because she is not in media all the time, drinking and being an asshole like all other celebreties? It's a pity that she actually got this question and I like her way of replying, that it depends on how you define the word "recluse".

A wonderful artist, with a huge body of work and all of it is exquisitely beautiful. How sad she has had to deal with stalkers. I have been building my collection of Loreena Mckennitt but have about 3 or more CD's to collect from Enya's work, because they are all amazing and her voice is so beautiful.
