I love how he starts the videos, everyone should just start their videos with hey, and that’s it, get right to it.
@Michael Whang I happen to like how he tells the story. 🤷🏽
@Michael Whang you must like stories SHORT, like your last name describes.
@Michael Whang 😂 I hear you brother. No she didn’t die. He was just explaining how he WOULD HAVE handled it if HE was the boss at the time. Peace and blessings to you sir. 🙏🏽

A fish with his mouth closed never gets caught. --------- Tony Accardo
Silence never betrayed anyone.
I like that, never heard it before, thanks for sharing
fishnet has left the chat. . .
@@venom7674 lol
It was actually Sam Giancana that said that.
He was heard on an FBI recording saying to an associate (while he pointed to a fish that was mounted on the wall with it's mouth open)
"You know how that f---ing fish got caught?! It opened it's damn mouth!!"
A vivid metaphor for not ratting. Pretty sure the associate got the message.
Well now we know where the Vito story in sopranos came from
It was Vito’s actor who came up with the idea for his character to be gay, but yeah it was inspired by this story.
The guy Sammy talked about probably could have gotten a note from his doctor.
@@puremisery1649 same with SOA a lot of there plots come from real world biker shit

Vito loved those Johnny Cakes !...LOL
The Bull should have been the Don. He’s a hell of a lot smarter than Gotti was
You couldn't have said it any better totally correct ☺️¡!!!!!!!!!
He was underboss. Meaning secret Boss Jhon is the Figurehead Replaceble but respectful and absolute In NYC The Man in the Front is Boss Feared and Respected .In CHI The Man in the Front is Public or $treet Boss or Regional Management For the Area The True bosses is in the Background mostly 2 or 3 or 4 at one time with no one on the ground floor ever getting wise beyond their payoff
Yeah TBH i had The Bull clocked all wrong... Colombo Clan should have kept and made him... RiCO fkd alot of their things but The Bull was smarter but there you go Gotti loved the lime light... ego with less loyalty.
Yea he should probably quit mentioning the honor and loyalty part of the life so much. He did 5 yrs for all them murders that was the only reason for him cooperating with feds! His stories are better than franzese because he already told everything on the stand Mike didn't and still lives by omerta. If Sammy had it to do over he would have took his life sentence on the yard over the many years of solitary confinement he suffered due to his choice to cooperate. That was a far worse punishment than any wiseguy could inflict. Now he's probably making more 💰 telling about the life than he did actually living it. My opinion technology finally passed the ability of the mafia to keep their way of life up.
The bull is the Don
Man the Sapranos really took alot of real stories and added to the show
The Sopranos is based off the real life nj mob
Sapranos is the best mob series ever.... no other show will top that show or cast when it comes to the mob ...
not trying make light of a serious story but i found it comical when (on the sopranos) they found out about the gay guy lol He's a fanuc !
Tony wore shorts to a cookout in the first season of the Sopranos. A real mobster praised the show to actor James Gandolfini, but told him "a don doesn't wear shorts." The line eventually made its way into the script, when Carmine Sr repeats it to Tony after hearing about Tony's grilling attire from Johnny Sack.
But it's not a true story is it. It's what would you have done conversation in prison
Wow. Intense.
I’m not married but I believe a marriage is a two handed circle. Some things are just between the man and wife.
"a two handed circle"....who are you, "Little" Carmine Lupertazzi?
@@TheScouseassassin I love you said that well played
Thing is she was just dating the dude and seems pretty evident there wasn’t strong feelings between each other as they were both at a swingers club, her running her mouth got him killed.

Right? Imagine having him as a grandpa hearing all his stories unfiltered
20 years in prison bro and most at ADX Colorado.

Those years in ADX were boring. I promise.

@@citizensusa8239 what’s wrong with that
Maybe it was a bluff killing that girl; but either way, that girl knew these people and had to know that if she went around saying a mob guy was sucking cock, there could be consequences
@@brandonlapere3644 what?
When Sammy Gravano speaks he has a look of razor sharp focus. I like that he explains Cosa Nostra and shows that even though as mobsters they were involved in criminal activity they weren't running around behaving like serial killers and animals. There was a structure and rules. Listening to Sammy Gravano is an education
Yeah a code that Sammy betrayed
Animals never consider themselves animals.
@@NefariousPorpoise They always need a reason or something that makes them better and superior even though they're all murdering
Total bullshit... he even talks of mobsters who used their position to become little more than serial killers.
@@darthkek1953
Yes the mafia just like the state and megacorporations sometimes used their power to do whatever the hell they wanted including killing innocent people for having the wrong sexual orientation, wrong think and so on. Yet even with all that baggage they are better than banksters and most politicians. The world will never be an utopia but a world run by the world's organized crime as in the John Wick movies seems in many ways better than the war and pestilence ridden world we currently inhabit just so the Banksters, big Pharma can get richer.
Sammy has a lot of insight into people and great judgement and problem solving skills that are revealed in these podcasts. Also much more restraint than I would have ever expected.
This sounds like VITOs story from THE SOPRANOS. In fact many of these stories seem similar to episodes of the sopranos.

He is the most high ranking mobster (who wad a real legit gangster) doing this stuff. Not to knock Franzese because he was definitely a high ranking member. But he clearly wasn't a street guy. More like a corrupt businessman.
"we don't just kill everybody that makes a mistake" , those words are true , a lot of people seem to think otherwise
I've had this argument with this kid at work who thinks they are all thugs but it's a business in the end and killing people brings more heat down on you which means you can't do business!

Do a Video with Michael Franzese please :)
@Jennifer Myers lucky never had kids bro
Michael Franzese talks bad about Sammy in every video almost. I used to watch his videos but he started sounding phony to me, some stuff didn't make sense. I think he's mostly an opportunistic fraud, he makes up half the stuff he says and takes advantage of being a son of a legend Mobster (who he helped put away and is always so eager to tell was a serial killer, doing him an ill favor while he was alive and trying to get out of jail).

I think I've learned two things from this story. As an outsider, she had no business creating this situation and would not have done so had she simply shut up. I also think a lot of your members, associates, etc. failed to follow the example you set of going home to your family most nights instead of getting caught up in having to go out partying way too many nights. I've always felt the family would have been far more successful if you would have been able to become boss of the family. I can only imagine what an empire it would have been now in 2021.
The point about a non member making accusations against a made member was well put. Why would you take the word of a non member over a made man? Sammy's version of how it should have been handled was correct. There could have been past incidents that were swept under the rug or political posturing by ambitious members (most likely).
Wow sleazeballs and scumbags.
Say what you want about Sammy, but in my opinion, this is the most authentic account of the mob life that we've seen ever.
@Kabuki Kitsune Micheal is good. But he doesn't get into details about things like this unless he has to. Which is doesn't. Sammy takes the cake on being more open and vocal. Sammy is one hell of a man

I agree with Sammy that the wife's story was probably horse crap and she was trying to ruin J.B. and get him rubbed out.
You got the story a bit mixed up. It was the girlfriend of John Amato who said about Amato and gotten him whacked. JB was re-telling this Amato story to a guy from Chicago and Sammy was listening in on it too. Sammy then tell JB his own Cosa Nostra rule and feeling of how he would have dealt with the Amato situation. There's no JB's wife crapping out horse shit to ge JB rubbed out.

I'm pretty sure the Sopranos producers got the transcripts of a lot of FBI wire taps over the years.
This woman had to have known that her man was a mafioso. She went squealing about what she supposedly saw. She knew what she was doing.
One thing I always remembered from the wise guys in Boston was that the side women that were crazy sex fiends were usually just as sneaky and malicious as the made guys and the associates.
@@Scuba_Bro That's the truth
Thats why she would have got clipped in Sammy's story. Remember this not a real situation. Easy to reflect so many years later. We live in the moment not the future. If you think at 30 years ago that this could have been done differently your nuts. All sounds good until the Albanians and Russians are thinking the Italians are F***. Maybe today but not 30 years ago. If there are 500 made guys out there you can bet a couple have had a prick in their mouths and liked it.
@@Scuba_Bro interesting insight.
Fanook confirmed ! Sammy is now LGBT friendly lol saving the day in every video .
Of course he is LGBT friendly.... what do you think he was doing in prison all those years. Toss a salad
How long were you in solitary confinement and were you in there more than once?? I think that's horrible and inhumane to put someone in there. I understand if there's a fight in prison and they have to do that to keep things from getting worse..but no more then a couple weeks.. it takes a very strong person I handle that I kind of have an idea
The way Sammy says he would have handled that situation is pure genius.
He gets the guy in a basement of a house, so if he gets killed, is in the right place.
He puts him in a tough decision to tell the truth by the promise of not geting hurt, and in an imposible position to lie, by geting that woman to confront him. He knows at this time that this is a high stake game, like the lotery: if he confronts her and he is not belived, he dies. Than she dies (because she is a witness) - this being an obvios thing for her also, when she sees that she is in a basement with the mafia and the gun is on the table, witch will make her to swear she telling the truth, even if is all a lie, her life depends on it.
Thats why he would lean to the decision of reconizing hes gay. More likely he would say hes gay even if he is not, because thats the best chance (and maybe the only one) the get out of the basement alive.
And even if he takes the dangeruos act of confronting her and wining, he could be killed later at anytime.
This way the woman who started the rumors is killed , removes the gay dude from his position without geting him clipped.
Sammy would create a tensioned win-win situation.
You have to put this into a TV series. It would be The Sopranos 2.0
Wow sleazeballs and scumbags with pride.
I would teach this as part of a game theory conflict resolution curriculum in graduate public policy courses and use this particular scenario 🤔
The bosses that decided to kill him probably wanted him dead too for whatever reason and they used that as an excuse just as well.
I know the story well, and that’s exactly what happened..
Nah, once it was known that they knew they felt they had to act in that way to show everyone they dealt with. They didn't have the guile Sammy did
Aids ?
@@giuseppeangelo9988 Agree. They felt they had to clip him because they worried how they would look to all the other guys from the street. He was an example. If there are 500 made guys out there you can bet a couple have had a prick in their mouths and liked it.

I'd have to see an interview with Sammy saying he's ok with a mob boss being a homosexual. Sammy is a man's man. He'd go along with the hit in my opinion. I think Sammy is going for the homnosexual audience. But that's ONLY my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions. They're like assholes. Everyone's got one.
I think he'd go along with the hit if he had to rule on it. Not because he wanted to. But because he wouldn't want to push hard against unwritten rules. It would be like one teacher in the 50's telling the entire faculty of a school that they should be integrated. Or a general 50 years ago, saying gays should be allowed in the military. Many people probably wanted to do or say what they felt was right. And it's easy for us to say "well they should have tried to make a difference." But you also can't really grasp the pressure people must have felt to go against the grain. Especially if it meant career suicide, losing friends, losing family, everyone who would recognize you turning their back on you. I admire people throughout history who spoke up, when they knew the cost of doing so. But I can understand why some people were too afraid to have their lives turned upside down if they didn't speak up.

Yeah because I'm only a minute and 30 seconds in the video it sounds like you're talkin about a guy who came up in the Aprile crew,he went by Vito aka Geno (in the early years) he got caught with Johnny cakes and the guy from the construction site, right? When dhey found his body he had a pool cue rammed up his ass, and a three ball in the side pocket. Sammy's lipstick was on a hanky and his udder pocket.
La casa nostra, is walking your best friend into a room and shooting him in the back of the head....what a fucking life....Men of honor....smh
I listen to these stories and I'm not really surprised that Sammy held the principles of "Our Thing" the way he did. He was a real man who not only knew the rules, he understood the rules very intricately.
The more sammy talks the more I know for certain he orchestrated DB to get killed
I don't think so DB was indicted on child pornography charges the family probably didn't want it going public that they made profits off that shit
I totally agree with with La Cosa Nostra’s concept of being fair and giving one a fair chance. I always thought the mafia killed their own if somebody got found out. Thanks for explaining everything Sammy.
There's nothing "fair" about the mafia. They are thieves and murderers.
I have a hard time with this. An interesting and charismatic man, but to spend all this time thinking through this anti social scenario. And there's a common theme of grandiousity in his stories, and he often tries to minimize the negative aspects of this life with stories of "charity and compassion"
Exactly. He's playing to the audience. These idiots in the comments truly believe that this monstrous human being is someone to learn life lessons from. Sick sh1t
Who hits like just as Sammy starts. I do and we're called legends.
In dutch ovening ya sista. Maybe a awkard finga bang. But yeah, u aint jack s.
Just you
He deserves that chair 😂
I'd be interested to know how this former libary orderly spells 'Library'.
Dude now im addicted to these stories every damn night i have to come here to listen to the Realest guy SAMMY THE BULL🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
It's obvious Sammy should have been the Boss of the Gambino Family or Columbo Family.
Sammy, did you watch ‘The Irishman’?
Do you have any stories about Frank Sheeran, Russell Bufalino, Jimmy Hoffa or anybody tied to that group of guys?
He doesn't read comments without glasses, it's hard work for an old man who never touched a computer in his life.
I bet with you that a grandson or granddaughter can do this for him before telling him.
So that's why vito was in soprano's 😂
Wow, I read about this story, I never thought about in the way you told it Sammy. Good stuff. 😎👍
That Woman in question was trying to get Him killed. I wouldn't have sympathy either.
This guy is a serial killer who killed at least 20 people. What’s next the Gary Ridgeway sketch comedy show?
The real boss was always Sammy in the minds of the men...
Not the Jack in the box Johnny boy...
the chin's daughter rita gigante's a lesbian
Is she a gigantic lesbian?
Y'all keep saying this reminds me of sopranos vito that's because Tony family was based off that family
Sammy is surprisingly open minded all things considered.
Sammy, can you talk about what the iceman said about you?
I will be talking about that in my upcoming podcast.
Is this what tony soprano was talkin about when he said “you know he ain’t the first” (talking about vito)
Exactly what I thought of
Yup. And others were bi but kept it quiet
Man this is how Phil Leotardo and Tony Soprano shoulda handled Vito.
The family he is refering to is who the Sopranos are very loosely based on. Obviously the shrink story was total Hollywood invention.
Vito scaletta?
literally came to the comments to see who made the Sopranos connection. Shows how REAL the Sopranos really is.
I heard a the cue ball was in his right pocket. Carlos lipstick wasin the other!
He wasn't gay, it was the medication..😂
WHEN DOES EPISODE 2 OF “OUR THING” COME OUT?????
He said a couple vid's back it would be around the end of the month or maybe early feb.
That's how the situation should have been handled. Otherwise you could have women being paid off to lie about a man doing that just so he would be killed.
She was also a girlfriend of a capo in the same family D'Amato was underboss in. Once you start looking into this sht it gets complicated quick.
But if that stiry was true, hed have to go
A good portion of people will be thinking that you are hiding in houses peeking around the curtains. Well here you are doing a UA-cam video and sitting on chair telling everybody how it is or was back in the day. you are compulsive viewing and you
Sammy was groomed well n learn the family rules from both families. Whoeva uploaded this video please ask Sammy to tell more stories of Mr.Neil !
The good ol' days when people were too ashamed to publicly come out of the closet...... Those were the days.
I could never step in Sammy’s shoes. He truly lived that life and luckily is alive to tell us his stories.
He’s only alive bc of WP program lol
@@iamaze6218 he’s been out of that program for a long time, 20+ years
@mikebalko he was out of jail for a while before he went back though
@mikebalko lol yeah kinda crazy
