I'm the FOH guy, and shoot after I have the mix in-hand... and have this INSANE stupid NIKON P100 that has the most FRUSTRATING zoom control.... it zooms 2 sec AFTER I tell it to... and then I have to readjust... yeah workman/tools... Know This: If I want good vid I hire somebody else... but I try and grab what I can on site rather than lose the moment... these people can PLAY, dig the people groove...
