It's crazy to think one day I'll be laying on that nurses table. It's crazy that one day I'll start t, and people will see me as a boy, even when I open my mouth. It's crazy to think on day I'll never hear my birth name and people will only refer to me as a guy. Guys, I know stuff might be tough right now but one day everything will be okay. But you are valid and matter never forget that.
My nurse was mean, disinterested and not at all informative or helpful in the least like this one. And I went to madalie! I was so shocked and disappointed with the staff at his office. Thanks fo uploading this video - my husband and I were going to film but they told us we couldn’t. And like I said my nurse didn’t tell us anything at all. She didn’t even give me the ball to hold onto when she took out the drains and my husband and I both were telling her that my pain tolerance was 0. I actually burst into tears when she took out the first drain. Glad you had a better experience kiddo!
As someone who is going to Medalie with language barriers and a parent that has difficulty understanding English, this video was very very helpful. It took me 3 watches to understand everything she said, so it would’ve been a disaster if I was hearing these first time after my surgery. Thank you!
The no lifting for 8 weeks part physically hurt my heart... I work at a pet store and heavy lifting is a big part of that so that’s definitely going to be hard for me... your surgery recovery looks incredible though, Mack!!
This is so motivational and inspiring! Congrats man that you got so far. I'm so happy for you and looking forward to many more videos of you, talking about your future experiences and being awesome. You are just so awesome and I'm so so so happy for you! Keep going :)
I’m going for my top surgery reveal tomorrow!! I’m worried because they don’t give post op binders and I bought one but it’s really loose and the only other option I have is a tight binder with clasps (and my other old binders are GC2B so I can’t use those) so I’m a little worried what I’m gonna do
Thanks for posting this. My nurse has said almost nothing about after care... "Keep your nipples greasy, and change your ace bandages when they get oozy". That's it
Last I remember you made some videos about how your mom was kinda weird about your transition and now she's helping you with top surgery! I'd be interested to know how that transition happened and how she came around. :)
I was wondering about that too! Obviously Mack doesn't need to share anything he doesn't want to but I'd be interested to know about it if he wanted to share.
Anyone else just really like that woman? She was great lol.
Brendon Oliver the doctor?
Brendon Oliver She's really informative xD I liked her as well. Hope I get someone like her when I have my top surgery too.
why are you so offended lol
Well, there was also his mom in the background haha
Samuel J. de Heer I mean the mom is there..

Thank you soooo much for filming all of it, not just the reveal; it's really nice to hear all the little details of what's gotta be done

I was wondering about that too! Obviously Mack doesn't need to share anything he doesn't want to but I'd be interested to know about it if he wanted to share.
