I disagree. They do not sound like each other. I could never close my eyes and mistake Baylee's singing voice as being that of Brian Littrell's. Brian was a stronger singer in his heyday. Brian had a unique, recognisable timbre, a good range, and power, even though he tended to strain when singing at the top of his range. Baylee, in comparison, sounds somewhat monotonous like there's a weight hampering his singing. His timbre is nice enough. Not trying to hurt anybody's feelings, just an honest observation.
Also starting to think Brian was originally supposed to sing nicks part at the bridge outro “don’t wanna hear you” Brian sings it with ease and sounds so much stronger. To be able to still hit that after 26 years shows his power which leads me to think max martin wanted him on it but because the label wanted nick pushed further forward in the band they gave him it. Maybe also cos Brian had to do the much higher key change harmony straight after it also makes more sense to have nick do it. Would love to hear stories from max martin on who he wanted on certain parts of songs but the label stepped in.
