When I studied photography we experimented with pinhole cameras we made ourselves. Thanks for the reminder that technology is not necessary for amazing art.
It is a very beautiful image to photograph the back of a flower with a pinhole camera. It's shocking to me. I always try to find something new and unique, but thank you for proving that even familiar places and objects can be really great images.
Mr. Henson, such a lovely image! To me it gave a feeling of how an insect may see the world, or even the feeling of "Alice In Wonderland". Thank You for sharing, about nine months ago I purchased a Zero Image PH Camera that I still have not used even once yet. Tomorrow morning weather permitting I plan to use it with your inspiration. Thank You; Larry Franco. Las Vegas, Nevada. USA.
Great video and beautiful image. As someone who personally practicing pinhole photography, it is refreshing to look at your artistic and innovative approach.
Absolutely fascinating video, with a wonderfully relaxed but informative tone. Loved it. Subscribed. Also that's a class photo too. Will be watching more and then going on to try, and fail, and try again, and fail better.
Thank you for making this video and sharing your experience. I have recently started to photograph with pinhole cameras and your work has been quite inspiring.
Hey, Martin! I really enjoyed this video and think the final composition is gorgeous. Please keep making content and sharing your thoughts on photography. I really like pace of your video and found it to be easy to watch. Thank you for sharing!
A great result. I will try some of these low-down positions, although neither of my pinhole cameras have cable releases, which will make it more difficult.
Thank you, a cable release on a pinhole camera is a luxury and not entirely necessary, you can easily open and close the pinhole cover manually with no problems
Cracking job there fella! Would love a video explaining what F means and how that table you had in your phone worked, why the 12 seconds? Keep going young 'un
The next video on pinhole photography which I will post later this week, will show in detail how I use the charts and calculate exposure times, thank you
congrats on taking a close 12 sec exposure without a breeze moving the flowers :) every time I have tried ... well... you know - see some of my 35mm pinhole results here www.flickr.com/photos/neilsingapore/albums/72157712701555438
You really have to pick a still day for the image I took and hope that no breeze or very little movement takes place, just looked at your pinhole images, really good, well done
For some reason I expected a grungy looking photo, not velvety soft dreamlike photo. Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you for your kind comment
It's pretty typical of long exposures like a pinhole needs to be soft as the small movements you don't usually see add up.
Love

I think art comes from the authors mind and not through the lens or PH. Thank you

What a great photo. I live in the States now and it's great hearing a broad British accent.
It’s very hard to alter who you are, I actually hate how I sound on video so it’s nice to hear I have reminded you of home , thank you, Robert

F/216?? I don't know about pinhole cameras. Is that a normal aperture size?
The final image is absolutely stunning.
Yes it’s quite normal, pinholes are tiny apertures, they can be even smaller, thanks
That is really beautiful.
Beautiful...
Very cool!
What a beautiful picture! What do you use to do the reciprocity for FP4plus?
I use a phone app called reciprocity timer, thank you
@@martinhensonphotography Thanks, I will have to get it!

A great idea, thanks for sharing.
Came here from son’s imgur recommendation :) 👍🏼🥰👍🏼
Amazing pic!!!
How close can you get with the pinhole cameras? I have the zero image 2000 comin
As close as you want really as long as light can enter the pinhole
