This tutorial is hands down one of the most informative zbrush hard surface tutorials I've watched. Great work please bring Solomon Blair more often to the stream.

Very good video showing of masking, polygroups and complex shapes that arent really possible with just brush sculpting

This tutorial is definitely not for beginners tbh I'm not sure what all the comments here are on about. He doesn't explain how to get to certain shortcuts, he just does it and expects you to know. So you have to have some ZBrush knowledge. At the very least, know all the hotkeys and shortcuts so you can keep up with this video.

Amazing tutorial, im new at ZBrush so a lot of this new information is helpful, also do you use a drawing pad? How Are you masking by polygroups without the slider?

AMAZING for zbrushers beginners doing hard surfaces.

thank you for sharing the way you made hard surfaces in zbrush.
    however

to match that edge as in the picture - you need to have a better understanding how real hard surfaces work.
it is important to know too where, when and HOW to apply things.
that part will not cut the credits i put on this amazing video. 😉
you are not a hard surfaces modeler per se.

Is there a video that shows how to turn masks into poly groups to grab again? Also how did he grab that little spot and move it to another group?

I think you should exercite you way to teach. Already passed 7 minutes and I am forced to give up to watch. I don´t understand why you keep talking to yourself but don´t really explain. Sorry for that.

But anyway, the tutorial is good. Maybe because it was a live, it sounds more natural and not like a class or something. But thank you for sharing.
