This really seems like a wait to get on a sale type of game. I just can’t spend 60 bucks on a game that looks this “okay”. Sucks too because the trailers and stuff really made it seem like a unique game but it’s just an open world game with good customization and that’s really it
One of the FEW reviews that seem to "get" what BioMutant is trying to be. Very nicely put together review. The game looks like a beautiful, stress free, zen game to dick around in and seriously gives off an old school charming vibe. For a guy who absolutely hates open world game design, I am strangely attracted to this game. Just a few qol improvements....mostly in the narrator frequency and meaty combat sounds and this looks like a hidden gem.
OHH GOD YES GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!! I love the dump-truck-of-loot, scrap-it, and custom build weapon! Don’t know why it isn’t there standard. Honestly, the parry and doge system seems more forgiving then dark souls.....so fine.
good review. the part of it feeling like it has a soul nailed it. last open world i played was AC Valhalla and while yes the graphics are good and its big with some neat mystery events the game itself felt souless manl due to the lack of loot and IMO dull combat. this game im finding more enjoyable even the its flaws are more obvious
Fantastic review! Very well done. On the fence about getting it through a month of EA Play Pro. Seems like it’s still probably worth $15. Too bad they didn’t go the early access route. Probably would have benefited from that model.
What I'm taking away from this is its less breath of the wild and more horizon zero dawn, with a couple of looter shooter and crafting elements. Kind of like far cry new dawn in a way.
Anyone else tired of games coming out either: Unfinished, unpolished, bug-ridden, too ambitious, early access/broken? It's been a trend for a while now - "Give us your hard-earned cash for where we are at in development now - we promise it will be better later" Game developers need to rebalance closer to the way things use to be. Reduce the over-ambitious size/scope of the game and spend more time on polishing and reducing repetitiveness. More content can always be added. Tired of nearly every game feeling like it's in "early access," which is the worst thing to ever happen to gaming.
Every now and then we escape Call of Duty and make other videos!
Yay
What if you made some battlefield vids?
Lop
I would probably make Big Chungus
“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in”
This is a nice surprise. Great review Jamison, was looking for some opinions on the game

Yeah, no kidding. Thought it would be a totally different game but.. eh.
3:20 "I don't think there's such thing as too much loot" Path of Exile would like to speak with you.
I was excited for biomutants too but it took so long to come out I’ll lost all hype for it but it’s still a good game
How do you know it’s “still a good game”? It’s not our yet...
An honest, concise and very good review. Nice job guys.
Excellent review. Told me everything I wanted to know.

they should make a perk that increases your gliders travel distance by 100%. that would be satisfying!

For everyone crying about $60 price, you can change steam region to India and get it for $26 with further discount if you have coupons.
