I'd like to know why they sometimes brag so heavily on the ability to edit 360 videos in Ultimate, but they don't have a 360 Stabilize in it and their generic Stabilize function isn't worth a flip when trying to stabilize 360 video? And they offer 360 video editing in the Ultimate or Pro version, but they say absolutely nothing about 360 video in their promo videos and just barely mention it in their instructional videos.
Just purchased Pinnacle Studio 23 Plus in May. Unable to login to Pinnacle Studio Forum. Have made repeated requests to Corel Support only to receive emails with case numbers.
Cannot find anything on Pinnacle Studio Importing Dazzle input or any other source to compression codec H264 :( Granted it will convert to H264 (MP4) but that is a re-render and takes a lot of time on a old video transfer.
Can studio 23 handle professional formats from Sony and Canon ... My FS7 for example. formats include the same XAVC I (Intra) QFHD (3840×2160) and Full HD (1920×1080) recordings as Sony's high-end F55, well-accepted MPEG HD 422, the Apple ProRes 422 codec (with XDCA-FS7 extension unit, sold separately), and even outboard RAW recording (with XDCA-FS7. Just being able to handle the built in codec will be very handy on trips away from home using my high spec windows laptop instead of my home based iMac pro. I like studio 23's editing tools i.e. grading, effects and transitions etc

Today I use FCPX and Resolve on my iMac pro, but still remember the fun I had with Pinnacle Studio. Pinnacle Studio 23 supports both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. But at the moment, AMD (I am using a RX480 8GB with no problem) seems to be the least problematic. Also, if you have an Intel processor with iGPU, you can use that too.

I bought the dazzle to import live video from my HD cam but the quality is no way high def it's more like 8mm quality I'M very disappointed, I had pinnacle 15 and used the old dazzle with the old firewire cable that produced high quality FILM when importing FROM MYHD CAM the NEW dazzle is crap

Hello, I have a problem when go to edit video after importing. In S 23 U, I can import via pinnacle hub, see the video and hear the audit during import, however when i go to edit, the footage is cannot be found in the folder it was imported to. when I check via explorer on my pc i can see the avi files.
Does not want to load a 4K video to the timeline, it won't load and play, it starts to load it, then stops, waited for over 4 hours and a 4 minute 4K video won't load

Ultimate problems in one box. So many problems with Audio, simple if you do bit complex editing, you will have always problems with audio. Problems are really unlogical, even if you change files, problems still stay. I used Pinnacle about 15 years (paid) and audio problems been always around, but diffirent problems.

Easy. Make sure you are in Overwrite Mode. Download the user manual. Tech support isn't really about answering questions like this. Pinnacle has their User Forum/Facebook page and other great online social media resources.

You failed to mention which version you have. Basic, Plus, Ultimate. I am guessing you are using PS23. In the Directory Menu list on the left, choose Edit>The Timeline Toolbar>Editing Mode. @@HoundDogMech I'm not sure what features are missing in the basic trial version. It's severely crippled for obvious reasons. I suggest you buy and try the full version for 30 days or less. That way, you can see if it's the program for you. Trial versions of most software are crippled. The basic version of Pinnacle is not worth the cost. Plus or Ultimate. If you look on the timeline toolbar at the extreme right side, you will see where the Edit Mode selection is. There might be a drop down menu... don't know for sure if it's available in Basic. Also suggest you go to the Pinnacle User Forum located here: forums.pinnaclesys.com/forums/default.aspx Can post screenshots, etc to help. If you go to the link for the manual, you will see on the right side the table of contents (better choice of words). There you select Edit, then Timeline Toolbar, then Editing Mode. Or, look for the magnifying glass near the upper right (that's the search box) and type in Overwrite.
I currently have Pinnacle Studio 18 and it's a bloody nuisance to use for editing. It drags in every video clip you ever shot, when all you want is the stuff you shot for your current project(you spend an hour or more closing unwanted folders). After a while it freezes and doesn't allow any more work on your project, you can't pull any more clips into your timeline or add any transitions. Really, the only useful thing that came with Pinnacle Studio 18 is the screen recorder. Pinnacle Studio 18 has proved to be a TURKEY!
As with any editor, it's functionality depends on your settings. I found PS18 pretty stable edited a lot of video ranging from simple to extremely complex with very little problem. It also depends on your hardware too. While all video editors list a minimum spec, that spec for computer hardware, at least for me, it to only start the program. Editing will be a pain unless you are editing 720P or SD (Standard Definition) footage with very little correcting. If you computer hardware isn't up to the task (editing with 2019 software on a several year old computer), the results will be the same. Pinnacle does have a 30 day trial period. Do not get the basic version. Extremely limited in what it can do. Plus, or if you want the "bling", Ultimate. I've personally owned almost everyone version of Pinnacle since Studio 9, except the Pro One. S9-PS23, all Ultimate, DV500Plus, Pinnacle Edition-Avid Liquid Pro.
@@Reyfox1 All I know is what I've experienced with PS18. You only want the content you've just loaded onto your computer to edit, so what does PS18 do? Pulls in every other bit of video content on your inbuilt drive and any external drive you have. You then spend time closing off those unwanted folders that you should be spending editing your current project. It's bloody annoying!

I have thousands of images and videos on my computer hard drives and never had experienced anything like what you've experienced with any version PS since Avid Studio. There were times when I would get tired of having to set up Watchfolders again with each new version. But maybe it's because I use several other drives besides the C: drive. Also, I don't remember reading anything (and I can be wrong) in the Pinnacle User Forums about this problem. I am not discounting your personal experience. It's just that it's the first time I've heard of it.
I am very dissapointed with this new version.... I have 2 versions on 2 different machines, Ultimate 20 and Ultimate 23..... I get the screen capture software included in 20 but have to pay an extra $19.99 to install it in 23? R you serious? what a scam ... I should have bought a different software......that's not fair what you did to your customers.....smh
@Ken Ingallis what do you mean by this? I have Multicam Lite installed on my PS23 computer. You have to pay if you want the FULL version of the software. Either you are explaining this wrong (you have the full paid version and want to use it on another computer) or you are wrong in saying you have to pay for the Lite version which is included with PS23 Ultimate.

my pinnacle studio 23 doesnt have all these features. for example the extra buttons just about the a/v tracks to the left of the split clip button

How you stop the gaps from closing by themselves in the timeline whenyou make a cut. They remove the option in 23🤦🏾♂️

I edit UHD 4K 50P all the time with no problems. Suggest you go to forums.pinnaclesys.com and post there for help. It isn't coming from here.

I tested Shotcut with my really old laptop and I do not have same problems.
I want to add a very large video file (27MB) without loosing quality. Is this possible or will I get an error showing the file is to big. Thanks!!
You loose quality when you import it to the program, then when you render it to right format ur quality is back. Don't need to thank me bro

Either you are explaining this wrong (you have the full paid version and want to use it on another computer) or you are wrong in saying you have to pay for the Lite version which is included with PS23 Ultimate.
