As a generation X person i agree with some thigns but I also grew up where we were happy that minimum wage went from 3.35 an hour to 5.15 and we didnt have alot of the child labor laws and other things they have now i remember being 16 working 32hrs a week plus schools and we didnt expect our parents and others to take care of us there was many times people my age worked 2 jobs 1 to pay the bills 1 to save and invest i had a time i was working full time with a construction company then go shower go deliver pizzas and on the weekends i worked at a livestock auction during the day so we put in the 16 18hr days 5 6 days a week and yes we had cheaper houses but we worked our asses off for it not acting entitled not demanding shit we put in the effort to make shit happen so thats why you hear us say that you're entitled youre lazy because theresa million ways to make money today way more than we ever had hell we didnt have cell phones until the late 90s early 2000s and they were on a minute plan the internet was very new if we invested in stocks we had to go to a broker and give them money and wait until the next day or if you invested in certain mainstream stocks you could find out on the news if you made or lost money so it was definitely a very different time but a very rewarding one
If you can't afford to pay cash for a house then you can't afford it and will only go into a lifetime of debt. Don't be stoopid and let your government talk you into making a dumba$$ financial decision. Rent until you can afford it. I'm not saying pay off house in cash but you should have that much saved before buying. Buy assets and not liabilities.
