The answer is that the small screen is starting to catch up with the big screen. Theres still a big gap but with shows like Game of Thrones on the horizon the only way movies can stay ahead is by making ultra big block busters that TV programs cant keep up with. In other words the creators of the show would have to pony up if they wanted it to be a movie.
Because it's abc and they have a bunch of dumb shows that would be better off movies. Primetime tv doesn't exactly have the best qaulity shows. Beside s lost and a few others.

I watched episode 1 and would have hit it if the show was aired in the early 2000s.
For another FBI based show, it actually looks good. The humour will either make it succeed or fail depending on the audience, I for one am looking forward to a show than can have a bit of fun and still be actin based.

Thrifty Shades of Greene I am not a fan either. I don't think he is a bad actor, but he's not really good either. And I really hated his character on Scandal, but that wasn't the actor's fault. I just wanted to point out the fact that he was on that show and it lasted for years.

I hope it doesn’t get cancelled. Fans should really look at taking class action against the networks etc. There must be some precedent for breach of promise, false advertising, emotional distress. Imagine if people sold novels, but decided not to include the ending. We invest a great deal of our time in watching TV shows and also have an emotional investment. Really it’s like selling a faulty product. Any lawyers want to add their expertise on this?
