I just realized Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan were on Supernatural Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan were in BvS as Bruce's parents Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are on The Walking dead
Not really. The acting industry is known for being a lot about who you know. No doubt that one helped the other in getting those roles, even if it's just a recommendation for audition. Of course they're both great actors so it's well deserved, but you see actors working in the same shows/movies quite often. Will Smith and Margot Robbie is a more recent example. Martin Scorsese also ropes in Leonardo DiCaprio for a lot of his best films for a similar reason - great actor who he has a good relationship with. Relationships go along way in Hollywood.
Skywalker I remembered her from the vampire diaries. I think that's the only thing I've seen her in so I was pretty surprised when i noticed she's in TWD.
For those wondering, her accent is called mid Atlantic. She has an American father and a Scottish Mother. She was born in the US and moved to Surrey when she was 13. I believe she still lives in England but I could be wrong there. A mid Atlantic accent happens when someone is born usually in the US and moves to the UK and the accent becomes mixed.
Okay, two of those you've just mentioned are from New York. New York accents. The third is from The Virgin Islands, US. All American born and raised, therefore no Mis Atlantic accent;
Lauren was born in Pennsylvania, she has an American dad and Scottish mom. She lived in the UK for quite a few years and picked up a slight accent. David Morrissey (The Governor) is British all-the-way.
Paladin Prime No, I'm not blind. She is quite clearly wearing makeup. I'm saying that she looks better _without_ makeup, as opposed to how she looks in the video.
I don't understand why people care so much about her having an odd accent, everyone is always questioning people's accents. why?? Such as myself. I was born in London and moved to America when I was a child,my mum is English-American my dad is Cuban so my accent is a mix of all of them. And Americans are always asking about my accent or trying to say I'm not from somewhere when I am. Some of you guys are doing the same to her. she is an American-born Brit. who cares?
The thing is, is that it's not entirely up to just the comics people, look at carol. She dies early after pretty much turning COO-COO, but the guys in the show, loved her from day one and wanted her to stay and hell look at her now she runs the show sometimes.
Lauren goes from a British to Bostonian to New York accent and back about first half a minute in. Let's see where this is going. Plus they can tell who dies next. The show has mostly followed the comic book.
A lot of the actors on "The Walking Dead" seem to have an accent of some sort. It's amazing how they change their voices from being so elegant to like a southern accent. Love to see all of the actors in more roles.
+Alvin Du Walking Dead. The comic book is written, they won't kill off a character unless it makes sense in the comic book and how the comic book plays out. Game of Thrones is way less safe. The writers of that show only sort of follow the books. A good amount of characters still alive in the books are dead on the show, just because the writers thought it necessary.
+rocket grunt Andrea is still alive in the comic books lol and some in fame of thrones too. But personally I think the walking dead are too much of a savage so I think they are less safe lol.
I really love Lauren Cohan the way she laughed and smile she's so awesome and gorgeous. And she's honest to answer in every questions to her. That's why i love you who you are. New die hard fan in the Philippines.
The whole last half of season 3 was so amazing because Chuck and Sarah were finally together against Shaw who is my favorite villain in the series by far but I still liked the Volkoffs a lot too. You do have to give the last couple episodes of 5 credit though just because it showed how much I was invested in the characters by the end of the show's run. So heart-wrenching!
I had a friend who was born in Wales and lived there until the age of eight at which time he moved to the American south. Ten years later when I met him, he'd developed one of the most unique accents most people had ever heard. It's really hard to explain exactly how it sounded but, it was Welsh with a southern twang.
She was born in the US but moved to the U.K so she probably learned "american english" from her parents and picked up the "british english" from the people around her
don't know who I love more the real her or Maggie.. torn!! lol.. such a classy lady.. she's trully all that and the last bag of chips on earth... bad joke with good intentions.. 😂
she was born in the states (philly) and lived there til she was like 14 so actually her English accent is a bit affected because she didn't live there in England until she was a teenager (although her parents are British so she probably got it from them a bit too, before she moved there). That's why her accent is a bit of a mix
Lauren was born in Philadelphia and lived in Cherry Hill, New Jersey during her childhood before moving to her mother's native United Kingdom in her teens. Cohan's Scottish mother converted to Judaism when she married Cohan's stepfather, and Cohan was raised in the Jewish religion from the age of five (she had a Bat Mitzvah). Wikipedia
I think she pretends to be british around her british friends and has an amercan accent around her american friends then on TV she didn't know what the fuck to do about it
Being Scottish, I'm well acquainted with where Scotland is. However, I was referring to the previous sentence - how does her mother being Scottish result in Lauren being English-American? She's British-American conceivably, but that's not what was written
The hell... what is up with that distracting accent? I couldn't talk to her in real life because I wouldn't know what to pay attention to. Her beauty or that ambiguous ass accent.
It's difficult, as someone who grew up in England and have lived in the US for 14 years I know what the transitioning stage of losing the accent was like.
You guys should be happy! I love all accents. They sound soo nice to me. This one was a bit ambiguous is all, so I was distracted. I loev her voice so dont worry. What does an American accent sound like? Ugly? Normal? Pretty?
she has a Scottish mother, not sure about the father but she lived in America until her teens and then moved to England. She kind of sounds half American/half British :)
Yeah, Shaw was a badass. He definitely made the show a lot more enjoyable. I also love the endings of each episode. Like, the last minute or two, when they would be playing slow, dramatic music and then they'd show an awesome, cliffhanger of an ending. Those were always the best.

A director once was asked his opinion on the idea of working with Val Kilmer again, and he said "If I were making The Val Kilmer Story, I wouldn't cast him."
Ok. I agree with your point. Michonne can bring a more human element. Im just too obsessed by Cohan (damn, shes awesome). But ... but ... my guess is that Hershel might die tomorrow (they installed a new doctor). So can the Green family lose 2 members ? She has to stay. Moreover if Hershel die . And Hershel is also one of my favorite character. Either way, I would be sad. I love this show.
Yea. But Darabont is already far from the original novel. My point is that Maggie can bring a "human drama" element that Michonne cant (like pregnancy or her relations with her father, her sister, her boyfriend). Michonne is a lone wolf, she is a fighter and make 3 words sentences (but she is the main character in the novel). I dont know, honestly. I prefer Maggie over her Darabont's show isnt about killing zombies. Its about humans trying to stay human.
She would make a good Lara Croft.
+xr.interceptor
brilliant! I agree!
+xr.interceptor OMG YES!
+xr.interceptor OMG YES
she isnt curvy enough for that. thats not a bad thing. its just not fittin for play lara croft.
Your Mom I don't think you understand the English language..
The guy who plays Rick is British too but he plays off a perfect southern/american accent. How can they easily pull that off?
Kayla Tran yes he is.. watch an interview haha
its not hard to imitate voices from the usa. alot of the tv they watch is based on american shows. u learn accents by hearing them
I think he is british
I don't give two shits what he is, what I'm saying is he has a thick accent but you would never know unless you see an interview.
Alana MacFall He is British check IMDB bruh
I just realized
Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan were on Supernatural
Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan were in BvS as Bruce's parents
Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are on The Walking dead
I realized that too. That's kinda creepy
Not really. The acting industry is known for being a lot about who you know. No doubt that one helped the other in getting those roles, even if it's just a recommendation for audition. Damn, never knew that. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a phenomenal actor. He's a really cool dude.
They are probably just good friends or work together well or something
For those wondering, her accent is called mid Atlantic. She has an American father and a Scottish Mother. She was born in the US and moved to Surrey when she was 13. I believe she still lives in England but I could be wrong there. A mid Atlantic accent happens when someone is born usually in the US and moves to the UK and the accent becomes mixed.
She's luuucky!
hmm not really. Mid Atlantic is more akin to the brothers from Frasier, or WIlliam Buckley.
Okay, two of those you've just mentioned are from New York. New York accents. The third is from The Virgin Islands, US. All American born and raised, therefore no Mis Atlantic accent;
+Courtnay what are you the accent master
chris zanotti this comment is like a year old, dude, who cares xD
Damn she is gorgeous.
Lmao, Conan at the end ''I'd watch you do anything''
Angry Toast lol ikr
Secretly crying "Please have sex with me"
+Angry Toast Yeah, what a cut. But I have to admit I was like "Me too, Conan. Me too."
Vilkku
Ugghhhhh, uggghhhhhhhhh..........ahhhhhhhh!
Her accent is so hard to distinguish... its like American sometimes, then English... sometimes she even sounds slightly Australian.
Her accent is just like a UA-camr named Calfreezy
From what I've heard, she grew up in New Jersey, then moved to the UK as a teenager. So I guess she has this weird/wonderful mixed accent.
She was born in US, and spent her teen years in England. It's a mixed accent of American English and English . . . English.
It's called a Mid Atlantic accent
She sound like a normal American
Lauren was born in Pennsylvania, she has an American dad and Scottish mom. She lived in the UK for quite a few years and picked up a slight accent. David Morrissey (The Governor) is British all-the-way.
And rick
Dan B Yeah, Andrew too. He has the strongest accent I think.
Andrew is Australian
zigghiggs I don't know where you're getting your facts from, but he was born in London.
look up teachers
I love her accent :D
It is so muddled. American/British/Australian.
bennydman666 yet so sexy
John O'Neill True.
She sounds very "Brooklyn" but mixed with British cause she lived there some years
Ikr
Wow "I'd watch you do anything"
Conan's creep moment xD
:D
+hawkzparrow lol i thought that was what everyone what thinking and conan just said it out loud at the end xD
+hawkzparrow shes naked in a couple of movies I bet hes watched those in pause mode lol
Conan doesn't have creep moments, he is a creep. It's part of his charm.
Am I the only one who thinks he said that because she's a talented actor, and not just because she's very good looking?
2:22 Greatest expressions ever. God, I love Conan.
Somebody make a GIF! :D
80% of the reason i watch the show is because of her
I just realized,Lauren looks like Charlize Theron O.o
shes hot so why not.
Thanks
@@lovegames9892 and partly like Margot Robbie
She looks even better without makeup.
She's wearing makeup here
matthew denis lol
+matthew denis think theyre referring to the show where shes make up less.
You think she's not wearing makeup?
Paladin Prime No, I'm not blind. She is quite clearly wearing makeup.
I'm saying that she looks better _without_ makeup, as opposed to how she looks in the video.
Her character has grown so much on the show.
I love her sooo damn much. Hope she stays around for a long time
All I knew her from was Chuck when she played Vivian Volkoff
She is so beatiful wow
I don't understand why people care so much about her having an odd accent, everyone is always questioning people's accents. why?? Such as myself. I was born in London and moved to America when I was a child,my mum is English-American my dad is Cuban so my accent is a mix of all of them. And Americans are always asking about my accent or trying to say I'm not from somewhere when I am. Some of you guys are doing the same to her. she is an American-born Brit. who cares?
Frig yeah she'd make a great Bond girl! And I love the idea she has for it...although yes the way she said it it makes sense where Conan took it.
The thing is, is that it's not entirely up to just the comics people, look at carol. She dies early after pretty much turning COO-COO, but the guys in the show, loved her from day one and wanted her to stay and hell look at her now she runs the show sometimes.
Wow she's so beautiful! 💚💚💚
That aged well. She is still around
OMG she is so hot, I love her accent!!!
Lauren goes from a British to Bostonian to New York accent and back about first half a minute in. Let's see where this is going. Plus they can tell who dies next. The show has mostly followed the comic book.
Not really
Internet, we've found the most beautiful woman in the universe!
holy shit she is british lol, she does an american southern accent, amazing
She has an English accent but she was born in the U.S.
Yknow what I just realized? She would make THE BEST Meryl in a Metal Gear movie.
I wish I could thumbs up more than once. This is so true, it hit me in the face.
I had no idea she had an accent. Omg! My mind is blown right now.
seems like everyone has an accent these days lol
Everyone has an accent. :)
To you your voice is normal, to others it's an accent just how you see theirs as an accent
twingirls1000 This is true!! Haha, and very trippy to think about. I could have worded that better. xD
How could you not hear it? She has a huge accent as Maggie lol.
Leey Yeah, a southern one. I didn't know she was really British-American
Omfg I love her
You are not Jesse Pinkman lol
Dude lol I love the show but its really my name
IwontBLACKOUT12 That's because he's Jesse PinkMEN
It’s so bizarre seeing this in 2023 because walking dead city just came out and obviously Maggie is still alive
God damn she is way finer in real life than in WD
I love what they've done with Maggie in the comic. Hopefully, the show follows the book with her.
I love this girl since Supernatural.
A lot of the actors on "The Walking Dead" seem to have an accent of some sort.
It's amazing how they change their voices from being so elegant to like a southern accent.
Love to see all of the actors in more roles.
I'm not sure if The walking Dead cast or Game Of Thrones has better job security?
Game of thrones is safer lol
+Alvin Du Walking Dead. The comic book is written, they won't kill off a character unless it makes sense in the comic book and how the comic book plays out.
Game of Thrones is way less safe. The writers of that show only sort of follow the books. A good amount of characters still alive in the books are dead on the show, just because the writers thought it necessary.
+rocket grunt Andrea is still alive in the comic books lol and some in fame of thrones too. But personally I think the walking dead are too much of a savage so I think they are less safe lol.
walking dead is safer because the cast is more likable. really only like 3 likable people have died that didn't HAVE to. Beth Tyreese and Noah
3 likable people? What about Hershel, Dale, TDog, etc.
Lauren as a Bond woman. I like it
Did anyone see her in vampire diaries ???!!!
yupp as rosee. she was pretty good it was sad when she died
I really love Lauren Cohan the way she laughed and smile she's so awesome and gorgeous. And she's honest to answer in every questions to her. That's why i love you who you are. New die hard fan in the Philippines.
Wow she's adorable
wait she's british?
She's American and British. We was born in the US but moved to the UK when she was a teenager.
Matthew Craven We? So you are her brother or relative?
I think almost all the crew is british !
leo nemesis Being from the South, I could tell they were trying hard to fake their Southern accents. Rick yelling for Carl...CAR-RULL-UH, where ye at?
i'm english and she sounds american.....
Negan, negan, oh negan!
By far one of the best interviews I've seen in a while!
well yeah your husband died :(
:(
I was looking through the recommended videos and I saw the title. You can only imagine the pain
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ACCENT!?!?!?!?!?!?!
IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's American and was born in America , but grew up in the UK and then moved back to the U.S.
I had a friend who was born in Wales and lived there until the age of eight at which time he moved to the American south. Ten years later when I met him, he'd developed one of the most unique accents most people had ever heard. It's really hard to explain exactly how it sounded but, it was Welsh with a southern twang.
She seems as if she's speaking between American English and British English. Lol.
I think she was born in America but lives in England
Dan B Wasn't boen in England, hmm. That explains why she still has all her teeth.
He but she's english sooo....
bromixsr well she grew up in England so that's probably why she is not fat
She was born in the US but moved to the U.K so she probably learned "american english" from her parents and picked up the "british english" from the people around her
2:41 "I'd watch you do anything" xD
She does have a British accent.... So hot
Oh. My. God.....her voice...puts her over the top. She was already a 10.
she sounds vaguely british.
she is british
She is, She was born in USA and moved to UK when she was young.
Michael Jones her mothers british.
English *
ian mccallum Oh last time i checked English People are British,
It's because she moved to the UK at one point, not sure if she still lives here, but I believe she grew up in the UK according to IMDB :)
She just has to read the Comics.
She could be a bond girl! She's so pretty and a really good actress
don't know who I love more the real her or Maggie.. torn!! lol.. such a classy lady.. she's trully all that and the last bag of chips on earth... bad joke with good intentions.. 😂
she was born in the states (philly) and lived there til she was like 14 so actually her English accent is a bit affected because she didn't live there in England until she was a teenager (although her parents are British so she probably got it from them a bit too, before she moved there). That's why her accent is a bit of a mix
Love her
I love her hair cut
Why do people only comment on her accent? Why not on how amazing she is as an actress? How beautiful she is? How funny and nice she is?
Simp
Gorgeous and funny. What a great mix.
Her accent is very..confused. lol
Lauren was born in Philadelphia and lived in Cherry Hill, New Jersey during her childhood before moving to her mother's native United Kingdom in her teens. Martha
M-Martha? why did you say that name? (sorry couldn't resist)
thedarksaviour755 it's my mother's name
She was born in Philadelphia, but her mother is English. She moved to the UK in her teens.
dude, why is putting on a british accent?
She's British.
no she's not I would know, I'm british
I think she pretends to be british around her british friends and has an amercan accent around her american friends then on TV she didn't know what the fuck to do about it
Anyone who has the internet would just go umm look her up and see where she is from? Born in the US and moved to England till she was in her 20s.
Jack Hernandez Andrew Lincon is british too are you kidding they fake american accent
Being Scottish, I'm well acquainted with where Scotland is. However, I was referring to the previous sentence - how does her mother being Scottish result in Lauren being English-American? She's British-American conceivably, but that's not what was written
She is Dead af now
Dillon Perez no that is an alternative death scene
Lauren Cohan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She Moved to UK when she was a teenager, where her mother was born.
The hell... what is up with that distracting accent? I couldn't talk to her in real life because I wouldn't know what to pay attention to. Her beauty or that ambiguous ass accent.
You pay attention to what she's saying because she was talking to you. It's not her fault she had that accent.
um what even
It's difficult, as someone who grew up in England and have lived in the US for 14 years I know what the transitioning stage of losing the accent was like.
Americans really make a big deal about the various English accents don't they? You have them also we don't care.
You guys should be happy! I love all accents. They sound soo nice to me. This one was a bit ambiguous is all, so I was distracted. I loev her voice so dont worry. What does an American accent sound like? Ugly? Normal? Pretty?
Because she really does.have a British accent. She grew up in Both USA and London
Ahhhh
she has a Scottish mother, not sure about the father but she lived in America until her teens and then moved to England. She kind of sounds half American/half British :)
WOAH!!! Her accent is so gorgeous, I did not expect her to have it, but it fits well with her personality!
"I'd watch you do anything" same conan.. same
She liked my comment today. I'm still crying. Omg thankful forever. This woman has my whole heart!❤
Whats with this one? Maggie was never cut off...
I love her "Brooklyn Bookie" accent. HAHAHA!
Yeah, Shaw was a badass. He definitely made the show a lot more enjoyable. I also love the endings of each episode. Like, the last minute or two, when they would be playing slow, dramatic music and then they'd show an awesome, cliffhanger of an ending. Those were always the best.
Actually she was born in the USA to British parents and then moved back to her home country when she was a early teenager.
I can't wait for season 4. Exciting things are coming, that's for sure.
Well...she is English-American. Her mother is from the U.K. but Lauren was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. then taken back to the U.K. until her teens.
She went full Harley Quinn for a second... it was awesome!!!!
Had no idea. I thought it was some sort of reference to a single event. Thanks
She's talking about the showrunner of the show, not the character. His name is Glenn too.
The Brooklyn bookie accent is her impersonating Glen Mazzara.
Woah she's british too?? Amazing ! Rick and lauren pull off the accents so well
David Morrissey - the Governor from earlier seasons - is also British and was putting on a fake accent too.
yeah found that out too. ricks accent is the best though. how he pulls it off is amazing
Bishx43 Morgan is British too lol
Actually Maggie ISNT British, She was born in Philadelphia but went to college in the UK
Best part is Conan at the end, "I would watch that film, I would watch you do anything." TRUE
I love this show.
she is! and she is/was in supernatural and i was jealous of her beauty!
I think Lauren Cohan looks like Martina Mcbride.
I almost pissed myself when I saw the title cause I haven't seen the new episodes yet.
"... I would watch you do anything..." You and me both Conan. You and me both.
She's great. they have such a strong cast
Actually she's not british she's from New Jersey and Philadelphia, her mother moved to UK to marry and picked up the partial accent
That Bond film they described needs to happen.
Directed by N. Night Shyamalan or however that's spelled
she lived in the UK most of her life. mustve moved there during her childhood
