All the big lots got parceled off in the booming days of Beverly Hills. Even the historic Graystone Mansion is only in 16 acres. I'm not sure you can find a house on a 30 acre lot in the entire Los Angeles area

It's not that the Palazzo di Amore (the #1 most expensive house) isn't for sale, it's that nobody will BUY that gaudy pukepile. What a shame- it's on a gigantic, spectacular, one-of-a-kind lot, and they could have built something architecturally significant, but instead the developer built a vomitrocious faux-Mediterranean white elephant.

What does it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul? Once a house exceeds 5000sq ft, it's just gaudy and tacky, it's not a home. I do not envy them as I have lived in a big house that was tastefully built and then the kids left and I hardly went into their rooms. Just too much hassle.

Technically, that is in West Los Angeles-Bel Air 90077 not 90210. Kind of blows the whole story it was only used for the driveway, the facade, the pool, the pond and the front gate shots. Everything else was in the studio. Maybe because at the time it may have been the grandest home in the Golden Triangle during production.
