I find the story of N x V quite tragic, as N lost many years of memories that he and V had shared, and the way I see, V pretends to forget him in response so she herself isn't so hurt by the fact that he can't remember the feelings they once had for each other. And so, N moves on, falling for Uzi, oblivious to how V really feels but refuses to admit. And once V realizes this there is nothing she can do but sit on the sidelines and watch the two of them happy together.
And what love story is more tragic than that of Romeo and Juliet? Not to mention V's story is something of a Cinderella story as she was once just a maid until she was "transformed" into someone much stronger with more freedom. Thus, I felt this song was perfect to capture all of those feelings.
The lyrics I wrote for this song were inspired off of JubyPhonic's English Translations of the Mirishira version of Romeo & Cinderella.
